ZIONIST "FAIL" MISSION IN IRELAND

This is priceless, read and enjoy:

Zionist Ambassador Zion Evrony was given a "hasbara" mission and instructed to:
"'tour' Ireland, aimed at countering what he said were 'misconceptions' about Israel."
And there's the first "roflmao" As if there was anything they could possibly say to counter the slaughter of civilians, the illegal siege, the Goldstone report, the stealing of innocent Irish identities to commit murder, the stealing of Irish Passports to commit crimes, the use of fake Irish addresses, the assault on our sovereignty and our neutrality, the attempt to sully the name of Ireland in their war against Muslims. First the background, then another "ROFLMAO" moment follows.
LINK The ambassador was met by a protest of over thirty locals and was confronted by local representatives including Sinn Fein Cllr. Carthy and his colleague, Noel Keelan who is the Deputy Mayor of Carrickmacross. Also in attendance was the Mayor of Monaghan Town Council, Seán Conlon and the former Workers Party Mayor of Carrickmacross, Francie O’Donoghue.

“For Carrickmacross Town Council to be associated with this ‘rogue government’ is an affront to the Palestinian people who, only one year ago, were the subject of an unrelenting aerial and ground attack by Israeli forces in their Operation Cast Lead. That operation saw upwards of 1,400 Palestinians killed; more than 400,000 Gazans were left without running water; 4,000 homes were destroyed or badly damaged and tens of thousands of people were left homeless.

“At the next meeting of Carrickmacross Town Council I will be proposing that any costs associated with this mornings civic reception are not paid by the council, that the page in our ‘distinguished visitors book’ signed by Zion Evrony this morning be removed and that the council write to the Israeli embassy stating that any further visit will not be welcome.

“The Israeli government, who Zion Evrony represents here in Ireland, have never accepted their responsibility in targeting schools, homes, hospitals and civilians in their attacks. Indeed they have tried to cover up the use of horrific and illegal white phosphorous shells in the attack.

“Even since then they have maintained their siege of the region ensuring that poverty, malnutrition and unemployment is endemic and that hospitals aren’t adequately equipped, that electricity blackouts occur regularly, that the sewerage system can’t operate, that schools have no supplies and that over 80% of the population are dependent on UN food aid to survive and that industry has ground to a halt with no access to markets and no supplies or replacement equipment. They have denied access to the market for Palestinian products from both the West Bank and Gaza regions.

“Mr. Evrony’s government continue the land grab and the building of their ‘apartheid wall’ around the Palestinian Territories and while these actions continue no council in Ireland should wish to be associated with them.

“Unfortunately Mayor Kerr Conlon decided to proceed with this morning’s civic reception despite being informed of the objections of at least four of her colleagues which I believe are shared by the majority of people in our town. She should apologise for her actions.”
Well, Israel would have been better to keep their ambassador at home, he's not welcomed here, check this "ROFLMAO" moment:
LINK Council sparks diplomatic row by snubbing Israeli ambassador

The Israeli ambassador to Ireland is at the centre of a diplomatic row after councillors voted to rip out the page of a town's distinguished visitors' book, which he had signed during an impromptu visit in January.

Town councillors in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan, voted five to four last Friday week to remove the page, which was signed by Zion Evrony during a visit to the market town. Those in favour of deleting his entry in the visitors' book included one Fianna Fail councillor, two Greens and two Sinn Fein.

The councillors delivered their diplomatic snub following the visit by the Israeli ambassador to the town's civic offices.

The incident comes at a time of heightened tensions between Ireland and Israel following allegations that Mossad agents travelled on fake Irish passports to Dubai last month to assassinate a Hamas leader.

The Israeli ambassador was in Monaghan on a 'tour' of Ireland, aimed at countering what he said were 'misconceptions' about Israel.

He contacted the town council hoping to meet councillors and other local people, but his visit sparked a flurry of protesters to convene for a demonstration that was hastily arranged by Sinn Fein.

Around 30 protesters heckled the ambassador as he arrived at the town council offices, accompanied by a heavy garda presence.

The chief protester, Matt Carthy, a Sinn Fein councillor, told the ambassador he wasn't welcome and asked him to leave.

At a council meeting 10 days ago, Cllr Carthy proposed "that the page in our distinguished visitors' book signed by Zion Evrony be removed and that the council write to the Israeli Embassy stating that any further visit will not be welcome."
GO MATT!! there's more:
Fine Gael councillors dissented but the motion was passed and the page has now been removed.

Mr Evrony reportedly wrote to Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams to condemn the protesters.
Mr. Zionist Evrony will not get any sympathy or support from the Bearded one. And Sinn Fein's Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin is calling for the issue of Israels recent actions be brought up in the European Council meeting:
link Sinn Féin Dáil leader Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked if the Taoiseach would use the next European Council meeting “to raise the criminal activity of the Israeli regime”, not only “the recent illegal employment of Irish passports and related matters but also to the regime’s illegal imposition of an apartheid regime in Gaza and West Bank”.
Israel should go peddle it's hasbara somewhere else, we don't buy it here.................... Anyone interested in reading Matt's own take on the whole thing and how it came about, check out his blog HERE
