The Obama administration has “screwed up the messaging” about its support for Israel over the past 14 months, and it will take “more than one month to make up for 14 months,” White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel said

Dennis Ross opened Thursday’s meeting, saying he hoped that the rabbis “had seen the manifestations of the change” of the administration’s tone since they met the first time a month ago.

Shapiro pointed out that the administration on Thursday announced a $205-million allocation for the Iron Dome missile defense system, on top of the annual $3 billion in military aid.

Dennis Ross, who runs the administration’s Iran policy, tried to allay fears during the meeting that by calling for a nuclear-free Middle East, US policy regarding Israel’s alleged nuclear capabilities was changing. Since 1995, Ross explained, the administration’s policy, supported by Israel, was to push for a nuclear-free Middle East in conjunction with comprehensive peace. Emanuel, according to a participant in the meeting, said, “We understand Israel’s full layer of deterrence.”

Emanuel said that the US pushed Israel’s acceptance last week into the OECD.

These comments came during the second of two White House meetings with a carefully selected slate of 15 rabbis from across the US representing the Orthodox, Reform and Conservative streams. The first meeting took place on April 20, shortly after Obama was widely perceived to have treated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu shabbily during their last White House meeting.

In addition to Emanuel and Ross, the other administration officials in the meetings were Dan Shapiro, the deputy national security adviser who supervises policy for Israel and its neighbors; Susan Sher, the chief White House liaison to the Jewish community; and Danielle Borin, associate director of the White House Office of Public Engagement and special assistant to Vice President Joe Biden.

Newsflash, America is not a country, it failed to “negotiate” with the British Empire and to seek the “permission” of England to become a sovereign Country. Never mind about the “War of Independence” forget about the Pilgrims, cancel Thanksgiving and throw that Turkey and Pumpkin Pie out the door. America does not exist.

Sound insane? Really? Well, hate to break it to you, but this is exactly what the Palestinians are being told right now. Palestinians are told to “seek permission” from Israel (and everyone else in the world) to declare they are a country (Even though they ARE a country and have BEEN a country right up until 1948) when part of THEIR country was taken by force via UN Resolution 181 to “create” a state of “Israel” that never existed before 1948. Did the “creators” of Israel seek “permission” from the surrounding Arab states? Did they seek “permission” from those who rightfully owned ALL of Palestine? Did America “seek permission” from England to become a country?

And best of all, the “Great Democracy of the United States of Israel” says it won’t recognise a Palestinian state unless Palestinians “create” a country via Israel’s “approval”

Dear God how the Majority of Americans are SUCH hypocrites and whose Government is totally OWNED by Israel. American Government wouldn’t recognise “Democracy” if it slapped them in their Wal-Mart shopping, McDonalds eating, Starbucks drinking faces.
