The New York City Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN), which describes itself as “a group comprising 9/11 family members, first responders, and survivors,” has gathered signatures to place a referendum for a new 9/11 investigation on the November ballot in New York City.

The Bloomberg administration fought the effort by claiming that only about 26,000 of the 52,000 signatures submitted by NYC CAN were valid,( He must have learned that trick from Obama's Chicago politics) leaving the group some 4,000 short of the requirement for a ballot measure. After the New York courts appointed a “referee” to review the tossed-out petitions, NYC CAN scrambled to validate thousands of signatures, and submitted 28,000 more.link

NYC CAN must deliver its memorandum of law in response to the City’s motion for summary judgment by Monday, September 21. The City will be given an opportunity to reply before the referee’s decision is made on Monday September 28. Fast-track appeals will likely follow no matter who wins. A final decision will have to be made by September 30.

If the referendum passes in November, it would lead to the creation of a local, independent commission with subpoena power that would be tasked with comprehensively reinvestigating the attacks.link

New York City has a long history of blocking citizen-generated ballot initiatives on the grounds of legal technicalities. And all legal issues must be resolved by September 30 for the measure to make it onto the November ballot. But if the referendum were to be presented and passed, it would lead to the creation of what its authors describe as “a local, independent commission with subpoena power that would be tasked with comprehensively reinvestigating the attacks.”

Believing that such an investigation is necessary and vital doesn’t require a subscription to any particular conspiracy theory about the attacks.

If anyone deserves the opportunity to press on for answers, it is the people of the City of New York. The next few weeks will tell whether they are at long last given that opportunity.link

Of course, I believe the '9/11 Commission' report!! Everyone knows that our government wouldn't lie to us to protect their own asses.

Why just listening to Condi Rice alone testify to the Commission should erase down any doubts!!

I know for sure that the senior execs at the FAA, CIA, the NSA and the Pentagon's Chief of Staff, General Richard Myers were just a bunch of bumbling, clueless bureaucrats who couldn't figure out how to bypass the North American Air Defense (NORAD) that is charged with tracking and if necessary, shooting down hijacked planes (the same bunch that was able to get an F-16 into the air to check within 16 minutes of the FAA losing contact with golfer Payne Stewart's private jet in 1999) but that 19 Ayyyrabs, being directed by an ailing Muslim in a cave 12,000 miles away, could!!

And even though my inner firefighter tells me different, I believe that all those tons of titanium engine metal, which is virtually indestructible and melts at around 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, didn't survive the WTC attacks but two paper passports, courtesy of those behind the attacks, did survive a crash, explosion, massive fireball and falling down nearly 900 feet with thousands of tons of rubble to be found by smart FBI agents!!!

Yes, I believe all of that and for me being a 'Good Doo-bee,' Santa Claus is going to fill my stocking this Christmas!!

Now it's time to vent our wrath on another Muslim country, Iran, to make Israel happy!!!
