TRAITOR ABBAS SELLS OUT PALESTINIANS

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

Palestinian Authority says: Palestine to get the most expensive phone system in the world, off the back of murdered Palestinians

Abbas has just sold out Palestine for Israeli money and American pressure. Here's America and their BFF Israel arm twisting to help Israeli criminals off the hook. I think this is called "perverting the course of justice" and America and Israel should both be charged with blackmail and bribery. Abbas on the other hand, is a traitor to his country. He has just sent a strong message to all those Palestinians who lost someone at the hands of Zionist war criminals. That message says "Israel's money is more important than the lives of Palestinians" I predict a strong showing by Hamas in the elections after this. They seem to be the only party willing to stand up to Israel's bribes and trickery.
The Palestinian Authority has withdrawn its support from a UN resolution endorsing a UN report into the Gaza conflict, reports say.

The reports, quoting diplomats, say the Palestinian decision was made under strong pressure from the United States.

But Palestinian officials, one of whom spoke to the BBC, deny the reports.

The report, written for UN's Human Rights Council by leading jurist Richard Goldstone, accuses Israel and Hamas of war crimes.

Ghassan Khateeb, the head of the PA press office, denied that the Palestinians would withdraw their support from the Goldstone report, in comments to the BBC.

Speaking to the al-Jazeera news network, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat also denied the reports.

'Blow to peace'

On Thursday Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said the report's endorsement would deal "a fatal blow" to peace.

The 574-page UN Human Rights Council report accused both the Israeli army and Palestinian militants of deliberately terrorising and killing civilians on the other side.

It urged the UN Security Council to refer allegations to the International Criminal Court (ICC) if either side failed to investigate and prosecute suspects.

The report has been widely praised by human rights groups, but Israeli allies like the US have criticised its conclusions.

Israeli military action destroyed thousands of homes, hundreds of factories and 80 official buildings.

Palestinians and human rights groups say more than 1,400 people were killed in the violence between 27 December 2008 and 16 January 2009, more than half of them civilians.

Israel puts the number of deaths at 1,166 - fewer than 300 of them civilians. Three Israeli civilians and 10 Israeli soldiers were also killed. SOURCE
Here's the US/Israeli blackmail HERE and HERE and for this the PA sell out Palestine.

W/O the endorsement of the PA, that war crimes report will die.

But watch Israel pick out the parts about Gazan's trying to defend themselves and somehow get that to the ICC.

Who to believe, the BBC or the NYT?

Palestinians Halt Push on War Report

Published: October 1, 2009

UNITED NATIONS — In a startling shift, the Palestinian delegation to the United Nations Human Rights Council dropped its efforts to forward a report accusing Israel of possible war crimes to the Security Council, under pressure from the United States, diplomats said Thursday.

The Americans argued that pushing the report now would derail the Middle East peace process that they are trying to revive, diplomats said....

Diplomats said that the Americans took their position that the report would delay the peace process before Mr. Netanyahu made his remarks. Michael Posner, the new assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights and labor, would not comment Thursday about the negotiation

Delay the 'peace' process? What peace process?

The one that involves stealing more West Bank Land and the continued terrorization of Gaza?

That peace process?
