ISRAEL RESORTS TO BLACKMAILING OWN CITIZENS FOR ORGAN DONORS

Looks like all the Israeli “Organ Theft” brouhaha which has come to light worldwide, has caused Israel to pass a new law regarding organ donation. Perhaps because they see the writing on the wall, no more theft from Palestinians, the jig is up, the world knows now. Perhaps it is that Israel fears more war crimes charges, or perhaps an investigation into the theft of organs. Either way, Israel is forced to change its ways. The law is aimed at the entire Israeli population, and gives priority medical treatment to those who have signed a donor card. The catch: This preferential treatment, which can save a life, will be offered ONLY to those who signed up at least three years BEFORE they need the life saving treatment. You want life saving treatment? Sign the card today and wait three years or you go way down the list. I say again, in Israel equality does not exist. It become more and more like a Nazi state every day. This resort to blackmailing it's own citizens is a disgrace, but it illustrates the lengths Israel will go to when it wants something.

Within Israel’s population only 10% of adults hold donor cards at present, Hence the stealing of organs from other less fortunate people, like kidnapped Palestinians and poor Americans by New Jersey Rabbis. Here’s the scoop:
link "Certainly, giving holders of donor cards priority in organ allocation sounds more acceptable than the introduction of organ conscription (ie, the proposed forced removal of organs from brain-dead patients without previous consent from the donor when still alive or from relatives) or financial incentives for organ donation (such as payment for funerals or tax incentives in cases of cadaveric organ donation or some financial reward in cases of living organ donation)."

An article published Online First and in The Lancet reports that a unique new law comes into effect in Israel in January 2010. It states that people who are prepared to sign donor cards themselves receive priority when they are in need of an organ transplant. In addition, increased priority is given to first degree relatives of those who have signed donor cards, to first degree relatives of those who have died and given organs, and to live donors of a kidney, liver lobe or lung lobe who have donated for as yet undesignated recipients. The article is the work of Professor Jacob Lavee, Director of the Heart Transplantation Unit, Sheba Medical Centre, Ramat Gan, and the Israel Transplant Centre, and colleagues.

When considering organ donation, Israel has a bad record. Only 10 percent of adults hold donor cards, compared to more than 30 percent in many Western countries. The consent rate for organ donation is defined as the proportion of actual donors of total number of medically eligible brain-dead donors. In Israel it has consistently been 45 percent during the past decade, much lower than the 70 to 90 percent consent rate in most western countries.

New legislation was needed since this meant using non-medical criteria in the organ allocation process. A massive public information campaign, in multiple languages and formats, is ongoing in order to educate the Israeli population on the new law.

The authors explain: "The Israeli policy applies to everyone with no exemptions, even to people who believe they should not donate organs because of religious beliefs11 or deeply held philosophical convictions.

During 2006, the Israel National Transplant Council (INTC) established a special committee because of these bleak national statistics. It was made up of ethicists, philosophers, lawyers, representatives of the main religions, transplant doctors, surgeons, and co-ordinators. After long discussions, they recommended to the INTC that any candidate for a transplant who had a donor card for at least three years before being listed as a candidate will be given priority in organ allocation. Regardless of the new law, patients in urgent need of a heart, lung, or liver transplant due to their serious condition will continue to receive priority. However, in the event that two such people are eligible for the same organ, their priority status under the new law would decide who receives the organ.

"If Israel's initiative of incentives for donation actually makes a difference by producing more organs for transplantation, it will be instructive. We wait to see."

ISRAEL ADMITS ORGAN THEFT FROM PALESTINIANS

"Hiss described how his doctors would mask the removal of corneas from bodies. "We'd glue the eyelid shut," he said. "We wouldn't take corneas from families we knew would open the eyelids."
Murderers and Criminals, that's what they are.
All the ad nauseum claims of "Anti-Semitism" over the Organ Trade dealings that were reported in Swedish newspapers; and lets not forget those grubby Rabbis in New Jersey and their illegal organ trading either. All of the "Israeli Outrage" when in fact, it was true all along and validation of this, by an Israeli Doctor no less. And proof has been sitting in the hands of a professor of anthropology at the University of California-Berkeley since 2000.

Organ theft is a crime, just like the theft of anything else, albeit a morbid crime dealing with the most sacred thing, a humans body. However it is a crime and this is why claims of "Anti-Semitism" don't work on this issue, because the issue is a crime. however, this crime appears to be an international crime where Israel is concerned and as such should be investigated by the international community like any other widespread crime against humans perpetuated by an aggressive country. There are laws governing this and just as Israel ignores laws governing Geneva Convention, International Law, War Crimes and the like they also believe laws pertaining to organ theft don't apply to them either. Today's revelation:
link The chief Israeli pathologist and director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir, professor Yehuda Hiss, has admitted harvesting organs from the bodies of dead Palestinians without the consent of their families.

Hiss said that he and doctors who worked under him took parts from bodies — including skin, corneas and heart valves — in the 1990s for transplantation. He also admitted that the same parts were taken from dead Israelis for the same purpose.

Hiss’ remarks came in an interview with Nancy Sheppard-Hughes, a professor of anthropology at the University of California-Berkeley who tracks the organ trade worldwide. The one-hour interview was recorded in 2000 as part of Sheppard-Hughes’ study at Abu Kabir and was broadcast on Israeli television on Friday night.

The report said Sheppard-Hughes decided to publish the interview after the leading Swedish daily Aftonbladet reported in August that Israeli soldiers killed Palestinians to trade in their organs.

The Israeli pathologist said “the skins were taken from the bodies and transmitted to Hadasah hospital in Jerusalem on the request of Israeli Army to be transplanted to wounded soldiers and in case of disaster.”

Sheppard-Hughes said the taking of organs “was not only from Palestinians and the bodies of terrorists, but all people. The symbolism is of taking the parts from a population which is considered enemy for military uses. This has to be reconsidered.”

In August, Aftonbladet quoted Palestinians as saying that young men from the West Bank and Gaza Strip had been seized by the Israeli forces and that their bodies returned to their families with missing organs.

“’Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,’ relatives of Khaled from Nablus said to me, as did the mother of Ra’ed from Jenin as well as the uncles of Mahmoud and Nafez from Gaza, who all had disappeared for a few days and returned by night, dead and autopsied,” wrote author Donald Bostrِm in his report.

Bostrِm also cited an incident of alleged organ snatching in 1992 during the first intifada.

He said Israeli soldiers seized a young man known for throwing stones at Israeli troops in the Nablus area. The man had been shot in the chest, both legs and the stomach before being taken to a military helicopter which transported him to “a place unknown to his loved ones.”

Five nights later, Bostrِm says, the young man’s body was returned, wrapped in green hospital sheets.
BUSTED Finally this will be heard in American media as now the Associated Press is reporting this "revalation" as well, confirming Israel stole organs from Palestinians. This only proves what we all know, Israel lies constantly, they cannot be trusted and it is up to the world to keep them in check!
link Israel has admitted that in the 1990s, its forensic pathologists harvested organs from dead bodies, including Palestinians, without permission of their families.

The issue emerged with publication of an interview with the then-head of Israel's Abu Kabir forensic institute, Dr. Jehuda Hiss. The interview was conducted in 2000 by an American academic, who released it because of a huge controversy last summer over an allegation by a Swedish newspaper that Israel was killing Palestinians in order to harvest their organs. Israel hotly denied the charge.
Cold blooded killers AND Liars........
