Organ theft is a crime, just like the theft of anything else, albeit a morbid crime dealing with the most sacred thing, a humans body. However it is a crime and this is why claims of "Anti-Semitism" don't work on this issue, because the issue is a crime. however, this crime appears to be an international crime where Israel is concerned and as such should be investigated by the international community like any other widespread crime against humans perpetuated by an aggressive country. There are laws governing this and just as Israel ignores laws governing Geneva Convention, International Law, War Crimes and the like they also believe laws pertaining to organ theft don't apply to them either. link The chief Israeli pathologist and director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at Abu Kabir, professor Yehuda Hiss, has admitted harvesting organs from the bodies of dead Palestinians without the consent of their families.

Hiss said that he and doctors who worked under him took parts from bodies — including skin, corneas and heart valves — in the 1990s for transplantation. He also admitted that the same parts were taken from dead Israelis for the same purpose.

Hiss’ remarks came in an interview with Nancy Sheppard-Hughes, a professor of anthropology at the University of California-Berkeley who tracks the organ trade worldwide. The one-hour interview was recorded in 2000 as part of Sheppard-Hughes’ study at Abu Kabir and was broadcast on Israeli television on Friday night.

The report said Sheppard-Hughes decided to publish the interview after the leading Swedish daily Aftonbladet reported in August that Israeli soldiers killed Palestinians to trade in their organs.

The Israeli pathologist said “the skins were taken from the bodies and transmitted to Hadasah hospital in Jerusalem on the request of Israeli Army to be transplanted to wounded soldiers and in case of disaster.”

Sheppard-Hughes said the taking of organs “was not only from Palestinians and the bodies of terrorists, but all people. The symbolism is of taking the parts from a population which is considered enemy for military uses. This has to be reconsidered.”

In August, Aftonbladet quoted Palestinians as saying that young men from the West Bank and Gaza Strip had been seized by the Israeli forces and that their bodies returned to their families with missing organs.

“’Our sons are used as involuntary organ donors,’ relatives of Khaled from Nablus said to me, as did the mother of Ra’ed from Jenin as well as the uncles of Mahmoud and Nafez from Gaza, who all had disappeared for a few days and returned by night, dead and autopsied,” wrote author Donald Bostrِm in his report.

Bostrِm also cited an incident of alleged organ snatching in 1992 during the first intifada.

He said Israeli soldiers seized a young man known for throwing stones at Israeli troops in the Nablus area. The man had been shot in the chest, both legs and the stomach before being taken to a military helicopter which transported him to “a place unknown to his loved ones.”

Five nights later, Bostrِm says, the young man’s body was returned, wrapped in green hospital sheets.

BUSTED Finally this will be heard in American media as now the Associated Press is reporting this "revalation" as well, confirming Israel stole organs from Palestinians. An arrest warrant was issued for a Jewish South African businessman who is alleged to have duped investors in a Ponzi scheme.

Barry Tannenbaum is alleged to have defrauded investors out of $1.61 billion.
Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said in parliament in Cape Town Tuesday that a warrant had been issued for Tannenbaum, who is believed to be living in Australia, as well as for his South African lawyer, Dean Rees.

Tannenbaum, 43, is believed to have enticed nearly 800 investors—many of them allegedly Jews from South Africa, Britain, Israel and Australia—with promises of returns of up to 200 percent.

His assets in South Africa have been frozen by a local court and the National Prosecuting Authority has started proceedings to extradite him, Business Day reported Wednesday.

In June, when the scandal was revealed, Tannenbaum categorically denied it as “wild allegations, conjecture and speculation.” He did not reply to an e-mailed request from Bloomberg news service for comment on the arrest warrant.

A spokesman for the South African task force set up in the wake of the scandal said Interpol could arrest the pair “no matter where they are in the world,” according to South African media. source

Israeli naval forces blockading Gaza have intercepted a ship whose passengers include former Georgia congresswoman Cynthia McKinney. Israeli forces on Tuesday intercepted the Greek-registered Arion in the Mediterranean Sea 23 miles off the Gaza coast, the BBC reported.
The Arion was carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to the U.S.-based Free Gaza Movement.

In a press release issued by freegaza.org, McKinney called the boarding “an outrageous violation of international law against us.”link

One Palestinian was killed and three more were injured when a house collapsed in the Ash-Sha'ath neighborhood of eastern Gaza on Monday.

The home had been damaged by Israeli shelling in the area during the country's offensive in the Gaza Strip in late December and January.

Three Palestinians were taken to Ash-Shifa Hospital with moderate injuries, according to Dr Mu'awiyah Hassanein, the head of Emergency and Ambulance Services within the Gaza Health Ministry.

The official added that there were reports of three more people missing in the house, which witnesses said collapsed while workers were doing repairs. source

Israeli demonstrators blocked the roads leading to the border crossings into the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning in a protest demanding the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

According to the website of the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronot, the demonstrators blocked roads leading to the Karni, Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings.

The demonstrators are apparently objecting to their government’s policy of allowing a trickle of humanitarian aid into Gaza, where Palestinian militiamen have been holding Shalit prisoner since 2006. source

Residents told Ma’an’s correspondent that some of these families had received the same notices before, such as the owner of the As-Sunbula building in the Nusaiba neighborhood, which consists of 24 apartments, and a building owned by Thamin Abu Qabalah in Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, which has 15 apartments.

New demolition orders were handed over to Muhammad Abu Khdeir related to a 12-apartment building he owns in Shu’fat, north of Jerusalem. Another 12-room block known as the Ghayth building was also served in Beit Hanina. Two new demolition orders were also handed over to two families living in the Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood in Silwan, south of Jerusalem. source

The self-demolition of Muhammad Najib Al-Ju’ba’s 25-square-meter home addition on Virgin Street near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Old City of Jerusalem marks the second week in a row Palestinians in Jerusalem have had to tear down their own homes.

Last week two self-demolitions were ordered, and on Friday Al-Ju’ba was faced with self-demolition or paying a 13,000 shekel fine for illegally constructing an extra room on his home. Paying the fine would not ensure a permit for the structure, and may simply postpone its destruction.

The house was built more than 50 years ago and is now home to eight. Twelve years ago, Al-Ju’ba built an additional room to accommodate his growing family. source

The USD 11 million fine was recommended by a committee elected to investigate the damage done by Israel to UN structures during Operation Cast Lead, Ban told a press conference in New York.

Secretary-General Ban's decision to fine Israel over damages to UN buildings come while the loss of over a thousand people in the Gaza Strip has remained uncompensated.

A fifteen-member mission headed by South African Jewish jurist Richard Goldstone entered the impoverished strip in early June to launch an investigation into Israel's alleged war crimes in the region.

Israel, however, made every effort to stall the UN probe. Goldstone's delegation was repeatedly denied visa's into the Gaza Strip in a move labeled as "disappointing" by the UN official.

Israel has refused to cooperate with any systematic investigations. It has rejected the International Criminal Court (ICC) and is not cooperating the United Nations Human Rights Council fact-finding mission to Gaza. source

It is ironic that many of the disconcerting themes relating to Israel in US President Barack Obama's Cairo speech replicated those widely promoted for months by a noisy minority of radical American Jews. These "Israel bashers" now proudly proclaim that the new language being employed by Obama "echoes the vocabulary we use."

On the eve of Binyamin Netanyahu's arrival in Washington, a full page advertisement inserted by the Israel Policy Forum (IPF) appeared in The New York Times. Instead of the customary welcome message to a visiting prime minister or expressions of solidarity, it urged Obama to press Israel to make further unilateral concessions to the Palestinians, assuring him that in the event of a confrontation, he would enjoy the backing of most American Jews because "they are not Israelis living in exile."

The radical groups also resurrected the bogus (True)anti-Semitic charge of "dual loyalties," warning Jews that by continued "blind" support of Israel, they risked alienating the American public and would be condemned for displaying greater loyalty toward Israel than the US. They were almost hysterical in their condemnation of Jews who exercised their rights to protest against the proposed appointment of the fiercely anti-Israel Charles Freeman to head the National Security Agency. IPF spokesmen went so far as to explicitly state that being an anti-Israeli fanatic was insufficient grounds for barring a person from assuming a senior administration role.

J Street and IPF also seek to slander and undermine AIPAC, (for this they should receive an award!!!!!) the highly effective pro-Israel lobby group, depicting it as an extreme right-wing and hawkish body although it has consistently promoted the policies of all Israeli governments, including the dovish administrations preceding Netanyahu.

Never before has the Jewish community faced a situation in which organizations presenting themselves as Zionists shamelessly lobby their president to pressure the democratically elected government of the Jewish state to make concessions which could have life and death implications for its citizens. (Um, just wondering here about the GLARING omission of the FACT that like it or not, HAMAS was elected in a democratic election. So, for Israel to have the audacity to call itself a “democracy” is ridiculous. It wouldn’t recognize a democracy if it was hit in the face with one. In fact, Israel is a Theocracy, not a democracy. It’s a rogue state that wants only one kind of person and to exclude all others, and if they cannot be excluded, then they have lesser rights. The problem in the US is that the established Jewish leaders decided to ignore these organizations, mistakenly believing that confrontations would be construed as attempts to restrict freedom of expression and would transform the radicals into martyrs. (So are the Zionists now calling for restrictions on “freedom of expression” for Jews in America they don’t agree with?)

But the issue of freedom of expression is a red herring. Any Jew is entitled to express his beliefs, no matter how nauseating or deviant such views may appear to the majority. That certainly applies to those arguing in favor or in opposition to settlements. Surely the red lines are being crossed when, as distinct from expressing views, American based organizations claiming to "love" Israel aggressively lobby the US government to pressure it to make concessions that could place lives at risk. To tolerate such groups within the framework of the Jewish community provides them with an aura of respectability to which they are not entitled. Alas, today some of these groups already attend administration briefings on a par with the recognized mainstream organizations. (So all these neocon Zionist orgs can do is attempt to vilify progressive Jews like J-Street and others. But they are growing daily, and soon will replace AIPAC and the other nasty little Israeli spy agencies controlling America)

Furthermore, failure to confront these Israel bashers has already provided the general media with grounds to suggest that American Jewish support of Israel is collapsing.(well it IS collapsing!!!) That has certainly encouraged the Obama administration to intensify its pressure on the Netanyahu government. It may also cause some weak-kneed Jews to distance themselves from Israel to avoid confronting a popular American president. (Funny how Jews who don’t hold the evil Zionist ideals are “Weak kneed” or “Israel Bashers” Oh and BTW the support for Israel’s continue maniacal behavior IS collapsing, this is exactly why the progressive groups are growing and challenging a take over of the neocon Zionist groups in America. Huge Delegation of EU Parliamentarians Come to Gaza

The largest European parliamentary delegation to arrive Gaza

The governmental Committee to break the blockade declared that the largest European Parliament delegation will arrive in the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing on Tuesday.

Hamdi Shaath, the Chairman of the Committee, said in a press statement issued by the Information Office of the Commission, on Monday: "The delegation includes 41 European parliamentarians, including a number of heads of European parliaments, and it comes from 15 European countries, pointing out that the Vice-President of the European Parliament," Luisa Morgantini" heads of the delegation.

He explained that the delegation would look into the areas destroyed by the occupation during the last war in Gaza.

Shaath explained that the Commission has provided all the necessary preparations in order to facilitate the task of the delegation in its visit to the Gaza Strip.

Shaath called on the delegations which come to Gaza to transfer the whole truth to the outside world and to expose the continued Zionist practices against the Palestinians in the strip, in addition to the disclosure of the damage caused by the continuation of the strict Zionist blockade for more than three years. link

RAMALLAH, West Bank, June 5 (Reuters) - Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian man on Friday in a confrontation with stone-throwing protesters in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian hospital officials said.

Medics said Aqel Srour, 35, was hit in the chest by a live bullet and another protester was wounded when soldiers fired at protesters in Nilin, a village near the city of Ramallah.

Srour died minutes later, Mohammed Shahwan, a doctor on the ambulance called to the scene, told Reuters.

An Israeli military spokesman said troops had opened fire when protesters threw stones at them in the village, but would not confirm whether the troops had used live ammunition. link

Michael Sfard, an Israeli human rights lawyer, who has filed a formal demand for an official investigation, said that of some 120 criminal investigations brought against security force members since the beginning of the intifada, there had only been one conviction – against the Arab-Israeli soldier who shot British peace activist Tom Hurndall dead in Gaza.

Nobody was brought to trial in two other cases involving the deaths of foreign nationals. They were Rachel Corrie, who like Mr Hurndall was an International Solidarity Movement volunteer. The Israeli military has not accepted responsibility for her death. In the case of British film-maker James Miller, Israeli authorities made a substantial cash payment to his family this year, which came nearly six years after his death.

The Israeli military said that on the day Mr Anderson was shot, some 400 rioters, “some masked”, had thrown “a massive number of rocks” at their forces.

So, "rocks" and "masks" are considered deadly to soldiers of the 4th largest army in the world, with rifles and tanks. Makes prefect sense, only in Israel, where they murder for sport and never are held accountable for their crimes, even against Americans, Britians or any other country. They are immune, because they are poor little Israel.

They will investigate inside Gaza, then there will be an opportunity for the Israelis or anyone else to come forward and speak to the committee at the UN, a neutral place. He did not have any nice words for Israel, neither does anyone else in the world. They are merely criminals of the worst kind running from the law. UN hearings to be held on Gaza war crimes
A UN team investigating possible war crimes in Gaza says it will hold public hearings with victims of the conflict in Gaza and Geneva later this month.

The team has spent the week interviewing witnesses and visiting sites damaged in Israel's three-week offensive, which ended on 18 January.

Richard Goldstone, who is heading the team, said it had hoped to hold hearings in Israel and the West Bank.

But Israel has refused to co-operate in the inquiry, accusing it of bias.

Anything Israel does not like is "Biased" or is based on the ever favorite, over used, phony term of "Anti-Semitism" Well, not this time Israel, people are no longer afraid to speak out on your crimes. Since they've used that term ad nauseum, what's left? Nothing is left, people see through Israel now. Israel's pattern of hiding behind the "Holocaust" and the "anti-semitism" label to both commit crimes and then to avoid paying for them.

Mr Goldstone said his 15-member team had visited 40 sites in Gaza and spoken to some 70 witnesses and relatives of victims. It had hoped to visit southern Israeli towns hit by Palestinian rocket fire, but was not allowed access.

This shoots a hole right into Israel's false claim that HAMAS rocket fire into Israel will not be addressed. Israel is blocking this team so that they can then say that the team did not investigate towns hit by HAMAS rocket fire in Israel.

Mr Goldstone said he hoped Israel's refusal to co-operate would not weaken the report, due for publication in September.

"If we haven't dealt with facts that Israel would like us to deal with, I think we can hardly be blamed for that," he added, according to news agency AP.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has requested more than $11m (£7m) compensation from Israel for damage to UN property in Gaza, after he accused Israel of targeting known civilian shelters and providing untrue statements to justify actions in which civilians were killed.
The report found Israel to blame in six out of nine incidents when death or injury were caused to people sheltering at UN property and UN buildings were damaged.

The Israeli military has said that its troops fought lawfully, although errors did take place, such as the deaths of 21 people in a wrongly targeted house. A fact-finding team commissioned by the Arab League said there was sufficient evidence for the Israeli military to be prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and that "the Israeli political leadership was also responsible for such crimes".
