PETITION
Submitted by Arafat Madi of The European Campaign to End the Siege on Gaza – Deadline to sign up by: 12 March 2010
We the undersigned petition call on the British Premier, Gordon Brown, to support the Goldstone Report and to ensure its acceptance in the Human Rights Council in March 2010. The report which was issued by a special committee assigned by the UN proved in a report of 570 pages that Israel perpetrated war crimes against Humanity in Gaza within its offensive in January 2009. Endorsing the report is endorsing humanity and rights of the besieged people of Gaza who are defenseless victims of the Israeli army. Israeli soldiers themselves confessed to have received orders to shot children in Gaza. TV Footages, Photographs and Media materials entirely supports the Goldstone report. The full-scale offensive in Gaza left at least 1,450 Palestinians killed and over 5000 injured. The entire infrastructure in Gaza was destroyed as Israeli attacks targeted schools, hospitals, streets, water wills, sewage system, farms and police stations. Till this moment, Israel is still imposing a harsh and criminal siege on the civilian population Gaza.

It does not offer any place for an American address and zip code but no worries, it accepted whatever I chose randomly from the drop down box.
I did such a pretty job of it. Shall try to remember to repost weekly. The effin gall of these kidney thieves.
Is there any way the election for EU last week can be proven a sham?
sorry i know this is off-topic,but i just need to coment on this!
i hope you will accept my coment...
"Senior Fatah official Yasser Abedrabbo on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on Syria, Qatar and Iran and accused them indirectly of trying to undermine the Egyptian reconciliation efforts.
Abedrabbo alleged that Hamas’s decision to delay the signing of a reconciliation agreement in Cairo was in compliance with the will of regional powers who want to distract the Palestinians from their battle against the Israeli occupation and thus give Israel justifications to evade and disavow its commitments at the pretext that the Palestinians are not unified and not ready for peace."
Amazing, truly amazing to say things like this! For years, begining with Yasser Arafat till now the PA and Fatah are working against palestinian people!they all became israeli colaborators in exchange of large amounts of money on their private accounts and power! While israel kindaps palestinians every day, torture them to death or shoot them in cold blood, destroying palestinian homes, and olive tress, stoling their land every day meter by meter, they COLABORATE with them, torture and kill resistance fighters, sack teacher from their jobs because they are not in the fatah party, they postponed the goldstone report, they knew all the long about israel harveting palestinian organs, and they dont do anything!!
AND they have the morale to blame HAMAS for troubles in palestine!!!???
Damm this fatah traitors,i hope if one day hamas take control of the west bank and palestine become free that all of this traitors will be sentenced to life term prison!!
@ seansmom
A Chara, many thanks for signing:)
@Noor
Sadly I don't think so, the fat cat irish government led by Cowan were determined to push this onto people by using fear tactics. The posteres were everywhere, telling people tey'd loose even more jobs, etc etc etc. A load of bollox.
What troubles me is that if you live in the North of ireland, you are STILL considered an Irish citizen by law. Many people have both a british and Irish passport. And those of us who are Irish consider ourselves to be such living in an occupied 6 countires. YET, we were not allowed to vote in the referendum for Lisbon, so in essence were robbed of voting on our own future!
Funnily enough, everyone in the north would be against lisbon, even the unionists
@Khaled
Salam brother, why should I not post your comment, as I am in total agreement with you :-)
I wrote this just the other day
http://irish4palestine.blogspot.com/2009/10/abbas-finds-way-out-sabotages-unity.html
Hamas is placed in a tough politicial situation due to this. without unity they cannot partake in the elections, with unity they risk loosing support. This is what the US/Israel and Abbas are attempting to do sadly.
Hello,Irish, sorry to post another coment not related to this subject but this is the only way i can contact you.i hope you dont mind, because i dont know do you have a policy of not posting a coment not related to post subject.
Look i know this sound stupid but when i opened account on gmail i thought that the account name will be shown on your site when i coment something, not the name you put with surname,so i open the account with the mane and surname khaled mashal(my great idol)and put the name saladin4palestine as acount name.so anyway i wanted that saladin4palestine be on screen when i coment on your page not the other way around.Remember i exchange 1 coment with 1 of you yesterday on desertpeace blog?
do you know maybe how can i change that, because its very important for me when i coment that my name is saladin(please dont think i am an idiot or something please....)
sorry do bother you,if you have the time please help.
i thought that maybe you wouldnt publish my coment because it was not related to this subject, anyways it turn out ok:)
did you hear that palestinian press says that hamas and fatah sign a reconsiliation agreement?i am totaly confused right now you know,if they sign that,on what grounds did they sign that, that will be a huge mistake for hamas if they signed that,i am very disapointed if thats true, dont know what to say..........
@Saladin,
no problem:)
go into your dashboard area and then click on "edit profile" then scroll down to where your display name is and just change it vy typing a new one
all the best
in solidarity
@Saladin
do not worry just yet about the reconciliation deal
Hamas MUST ensure they remain "in the game" so to speak, they need to be included in order to challenge FATAH, sometimes being insuded means you must take political risks, if that makes sense.
I trust the leadership, Khalid Mash’al has a good political mind and from my perspective good strategy we must trust him
@Saladin,
I will give you my best answers to your questions you asked of me:
DUE TO THE WORD COUNT this will be in two parts:
PART 1
Saladin said: i see that you know many things about palestine and i am specialy glad that you are hamas suporter!
>>>>>>>>>>>One thing about the us, we support who the Palestinian people elect, we respect their vote. Hamas won the majority, therefore they were elected democratically. For too many years we had this problem here in Ireland, when our people were elected they were marginalised, even though they had a political mandate.
Saladin said: WHAT I WANT IS THE 3 INTIFADA,AND THIS TIME AGAINST FATAH!!
>>>>>>Via the vote, this is where they need to loose, at the ballot box at the hands of the Palestinian people.
We will get there one day:)
now on to part 2
sorry will have to be 3 parts
Saladin said: Listen of course i trust khaled mashal,i only trust hamas and nobody else, but what if they sign an agrement and after that prisoners in ramalah cells still remain in custody, resistance fighters are still be tortured and israel still grabs palestinian land and fatah dont do aynthing about it?what then?
>>>>>>>> Well, Saladin, although our people have offered our experience and strategy to Palestine in the past and even recently here:
In 2006:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7FseUvgfkQ
And in April this year here:
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1077437.html
We can only go by our situation here in Ireland, and that of many other world conflicts. Things never happen quickly, they take place in stages and there are set backs all along they way. The IRA had several ceasefires before the British decided they really wanted peace, 1975, then again in 1994, both times the Brits did not hold up their end of the agreements. Then in 1997 another ceasefire was called, this time they were more interested in moving forward with us. But even then there were a great many set backs. Even during “peace talks” and “peace agreements” still our people were jailed, shot, beaten and our rights abused. It was a tough time, even today there are still a great many problems, but we are not killing each other on a daily basis any longer. And to put this into perspective, the IRA only decommissioned its weapons in 2005, a full 9 years after the ceasefire was called. So, what I am saying is that all wars end in a “process” and the process can be very long and drawn out with many set backs and disappointments along the way, and even more lives lost before the the time invested in the process, outweighs the set backs. In other words, even though things were bad, the day came when no one on either side wanted to return to the way it was before. If that makes sense, But this can only happen over time, it’s a long process.
part 3:
The trouble with Palestine is that they have no massive support by any governments that can really make a difference. For us, there were the Irish Americans, and of course it took an American president to make the commitment to us, that was Bill Clinton and he followed through unlike obama has for Palestine. Palestine needs the US to get on board, but Israel is the problem there as it controls much of US foreign policy. That said, what Israel did in Gaza in December has now created a public demand worldwide for justice and some sort of fair treatment for Palestinians. Israel has lost the moral high ground.
Additionally Israel has created a moral and humanitarian problem for itself, and with each subversive action from Israel they compound this view of themselves to more and more of the world’s population. So with regards to Palestine, we are in VERY early days, IF even that.
Right now it is not Israel that is the real problem for the Palestinians, Israel enjoys and takes advantage of the fact that there is no Palestinian unity, it allows Israel to run the show as they control Abbas and much of the PA, although not all of it , as there are factions inside FATAH and the PA who are very much inline with hamas and would share more in common with them than FaTAH under Abbas. So, As much as it is distasteful to me, you, and Hamas, to form some sort of unity with Fatah after Abba’s recent traitor actions, sadly this is a pill that Hamas may decide to swallow, as it creates a political situation that hamas can then capitalise on via elections and involvement in any future negotiations. They become “part” of the process. Although I am certain if that happened Israel would be pointing to their charter which will be another “situation” Hamas will deal with. And Of course FaTAh and the US/Israel will make more attempts to de-legitimise them and exclude them, but this is where the focus needs to be for all of us. Making sure that they ARE included. Here in Ireland they tried to do this, they tried to make peace with only those not involved in armed struggle, it failed miserably and will do so in Palestine as well if this is the road the US and Israel choose to go down. Gerry Adams once said that “You make peace with your enemies, not your friends” this is true.
Irish,i apreciate your huge coment regarding my question!
i apreciate very much that i took time to write all off that!thanks irish very much!:)
Regarding Hamas,i didnt mean that i suport only Hamas just be because they call themselfs Hamas,or because i am a bias stupid person,i suport Hamas because they are the only party in palestine that suports palestinian interests and they are wiling to even die because of that, everything that they did was for the sake of palestinian people, they have never and will never sold out palestinian interests for power, money or something else!!
and because off that they have my full suport!!
but they will have my full suport in the future also, only if they keep their path,if they sold out any palestinian right in the future i will not suport them then!so let it be clear,i am not bias in any case,i suport only partys that want to bring joy to palestinian faces!
Regarding elections if the aragment were to be sign 2 things:
1.the elections will for sure be fixed so fatah will win!
2.most important,i am starting to be very angry at palestinian people in the west bank!!i dont get them anymore, they all see that fatah is selling palestinian interests and that they colaborate with them, but they still suport them!!!???this is starting to be very shameful!how can thoose people still suport fatah, are they insane or what!!??why they are not protesting against fatah?!yes fatah shamefuly forbide any protests in the west bank, but come if 2 or 3 milion people go to the streets there is no military force in the world that could stop them!
i am starting to belive that palestinians from the west bank are at least 50% guilty because of todays situation in the west bank because they continues suport for fatah is dragging palestine into the dark whole!
I think despite you put in front of me very good facts that Hamas should never sign a agrement with fatah, they should wait for a while untill fatah falls into peaces and then with the suport off all palestinians when the finaly realize that fatah canot represent them took control over all palestine!
this is a israeli-pa trap which they shouldnt swalow, but looks like they will!
@Saladin, I did not post your comment with your email addres because it is not wise to place that online, so here is your comment from earlier without out email address:
Listen Irish,i finaly found some peace when i read yours site and talk with you on coments.do you think maybe in the future we can talk little more, maybe through some chat or something?
sorry if i am too pushy, but just i canot find anyone to talk about palestine here where i live and specialy to talk in this good, truth way, because i see that you know many things about palestine and i am specialy glad that you are hamas suporter!
Listen of course i trust khaled mashal,i only trust hamas and nobody else, but what if they sign an agrement and after that prisoners in ramalah cells still remain in custody, resistance fighters are still be tortured and israel still grabs palestinian land and fatah dont do aynthing about it?what then?besides all key players from hamas are in gaza,so what can they do from there?
do you think mashal(and the others hamas members) will be alowed to go to the west bank?
thats crazy if you ask me,if someone of them goes to west bank the israelis will shoot them imediately!
still Fawzi Barhoum said today that they didnt sign anything yet.....
"Hamas on Wednesday denied press reports that it had approved the new Egyptian proposal regarding Palestinian national reconciliation.
Fawzi Barhoum, a Hamas spokesman, told the PIC that the media publishing such news should scrutinize their reports before publishing them."
WHAT I WANT IS THE 3 INTIFADA,AND THIS TIME AGAINST FATAH!!

@Saladin, I agree with your first paragraph regarding Hamas. And you are not a stupid person:)

>>>>I believe this may have been the case before, however, after what he did with the Goldstone report many have now turned on him in the West Bank. I believe the people have woken up to the traitor amongst them. I also agree that the Palestinian people of the West Bank are also a part of the problem, they need to end their support of Abbas and demand a true representative of the Palestinian nation. Abbas is not this and can never be this.

>>>>>> I would ask you to think about this a bit more. Here’s why. One problem is there is not enough time to wait for Fatah to fall apart because it won’t fall apart on its own because it is supported by Israel and the US. So for this reason alone IF hamas examined the political situation and found it to be to their advantage to work from within to discredit Abbas/FATAH by forming a unity deal then I would support that. Sometimes you have to take your fight into the belly of the beast, meaning that Hamas may decide it can do MORE political damage to FATAH and expose them for what they are, by working within via a unity deal. Otherwise they are stuck in Gaza with nothing but words to fight Abbas, see my point there? I believe that Hamas will know if the time is right now or not. But to be honest Hamas options are not vast at this moment in time. Perhaps it would be prudent of them to do this whilst the world is still very focused on Palestine, as it is harder for Israel/US and Abbas to get away with things right now as the world is paying close attention to things. Just like what happened with the goldstone report, had the world’s focus not been on Palesitne, then we would never have seen Abbas do his u-turn LOL Anyhow, hamas will know when the time is right for them to do so I belive:)
Irish:)
i agree with you that Hamas canot do anything if they only stay in gaza, and that the unity goverment could give more power to Hamas.
but i simply canot imagine how that unity will work, and in what way will Hamas benefit from that.
i still belive that would be a huge mistake, and i will tell you 1 huge reason in my opinion why is that wrong:
if Hamas goes to union with fatah(i think that even then fatah will have the final word),they canot say anymore that mistakes have been made by fatah, people will look at thoose mistakes in the way that they are all responsible because they are 1 unity goverment now!
you canot criticize someone if you are in coalition with them, and i think that Hamas will lose popularity big time if they join this traitor fatah party!
because people can now say:fatah is seling our rights and is colaborating with israel, but on the other hand,Hamas is fair and true party who fights for our rights.
but if hamas join this union people will say:well they are all the same, sellouts of our dignity!
HAMAS HAS THE ADVANTAGE BECAUSE FATAH IS DOING MANY SHAMEFUL THINGS,AND IF THEY JOIN THE UNION ALL THE SHAMEFUL ACTS BY FATAH WILL BE AUTOMATICLY HALF-TRANSLATED TO HAMAS BECAUSE THEY ACCEPT TO BE A PARTNER OF FATAH!
+just imagine this, how will this goverment works if they on the paper sign an agrement but hamas suporters remain in cells?apsurd!
but we can talk more about that agrement when i see clear on paper what did they signed and what are the term.
stay good Irish!good night!:)
G'night Saladin,
I will reply tomorrow:)
all the best
