At the time of writing Facebook claims 59 million active users, including 7 million in the UK, Facebook's third-biggest customer after the US and Canada. That's 59 million suckers, all of whom have volunteered their ID card information and consumer preferences to an American business they know nothing about. Right now, 2 million new people join each week. At the present rate of growth, Facebook will have more than 200 million active users by this time next year. Facebook is a well-funded project, and the people behind the funding, a group of Silicon Valley venture capitalists, have a clearly thought out ideology that they are hoping to spread around the world. Facebook is one manifestation of this ideology.
Although the project was initially conceived by media cover star Mark Zuckerberg, the real face behind Facebook is the 40-year-old Silicon Valley venture capitalist and futurist philosopher Peter Thiel. There are only three board members on Facebook, and they are Thiel, Zuckerberg and a third investor called Jim Breyer from a venture capital firm called Accel Partners (more on him later). Thiel invested $500,000 in Facebook when Harvard students Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskowitz went to meet him in San Francisco in June 2004, soon after they had launched the site. Thiel now reportedly owns 7% of Facebook, which, at Facebook's current valuation of $15bn, would be worth more than $1bn. There is much debate on who exactly were the original co-founders of Facebook, but whoever they were, Zuckerberg is the only one left on the board, although Hughes and Moskowitz still work for the company.
Theil is the co-founder and CEO of the virtual banking system PayPal, which he sold to Ebay for $1.5bn, taking $55m for himself. He also runs a £3bn hedge fund called Clarium Capital Management and a venture capital fund called Founders Fund. He has made money by betting on rising oil prices and by correctly predicting that the dollar would weaken.
But Thiel is more than just a clever and avaricious capitalist. He is a futurist philosopher and neocon activist. A philosophy graduate from Stanford, in 1998 he co-wrote a book called The Diversity Myth, which is a detailed attack on liberalism and the multiculturalist ideology that dominated Stanford. He claimed that the "multiculture" led to a lessening of individual freedoms. Thiel is a member of TheVanguard.Org, an internet-based neoconservative pressure group that was set up to attack MoveOn.org, a liberal pressure group that works on the web.
TheVanguard is run by one Rod D Martin, a philosopher-capitalist whom Thiel greatly admires. Their aim is to promote policies that will "reshape America and the globe". The chairman's message says: "Today we'll teach MoveOn [the liberal website], and the leftwing media some lessons they never imagined."
So, Thiel's politics are not in doubt. Thiel says that PayPal was motivated by this belief: that you can find value not in real manufactured objects, but in the relations between human beings. PayPal was a way of moving money around the world with no restriction. Bloomberg Markets puts it like this: "For Thiel, PayPal was all about freedom: it would enable people to skirt currency controls and move money around the globe."Clearly, Facebook is another uber-capitalist experiment:
Thiel's philosophical mentor is one René Girard of Stanford University, proponent of a theory of human behaviour called mimetic desire. Girard reckons that people are essentially sheep-like and will copy one another without much reflection. The theory would also seem to be proved correct in the case of Thiel's virtual worlds: the desired object is irrelevant; all you need to know is that human beings will tend to move in flocks.
The internet is immensely appealing to neocons such as Thiel because it promises a certain sort of freedom in human relations and in business, freedom from pesky national laws, national boundaries and suchlike.
Facebook is a deliberate experiment in global manipulation, and Thiel is a bright young thing in the neoconservative pantheon, with a penchant for far-out techno-utopian fantasies.

The third board member of Facebook is Jim Breyer. He is a partner in the venture capital firm Accel Partners, who put $12.7m into Facebook in April 2005. On the board of such US giants as Wal-Mart and Marvel Entertainment, he is also a former chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Now these are the people who are really making things happen in America, because they invest in the new young talent, the Zuckerbergs and the like. Facebook's most recent round of funding was led by a company called Greylock Venture Capital, who put in the sum of $27.5m. One of Greylock's senior partners is called Howard Cox, another former chairman of the NVCA, who is also on the board of In-Q-Tel. What's In-Q-Tel? Well, believe it or not (and check out their website), this is the venture-capital wing of the CIA. After 9/11, the US intelligence community became so excited by the possibilities of new technology and the innovations being made in the private sector, that in 1999 they set up their own venture capital fund, In-Q-Tel, which "identifies and partners with companies developing cutting-edge technologies to help deliver these solutions to the Central Intelligence Agency and the broader US Intelligence Community (IC) to further their missions".

Yes, you read the title correctly, the JIDF are now asking the US government to censor and investigate people who criticize Israel online. This should be a wake up call to anyone who reads this post! The country wanted “change” when they overwhelmingly elected Obama. People expected to see a roll back of the civil rights intrusions that Bush so happily implemented using the Politics of “fear” to establish a United States of Big Brother America which Israel can control.
Thanks to the internet, PRESS TV, and Aljazeera English, people were actually witnessing the horrendous holocaust on Gaza. Thanks to YouTube and many other social network groups, these images spread like wildfire. Soon, the images of White Phosphorous, DIME missiles and over 400 children, dismembered and being dug from the rubble were streamed all over the world. Children being carried by their screaming parents, looking for someone to help, were seen by millions. Civilians huddled together with no place to escape the day after day bombings from the pristine American supplied F-16s that flew safely overhead whilst delivering death below. Anyone who witnessed this will never have those images leave their minds. People have now seen the ugly result of US Military Aid to Israel.
Within days of the first attack, millions of Pro-Gaza blogs began to spring up all over the world. Every country, millions of people like myself who never had a blog, felt compelled to write, to help, to do whatever they could to expose the evil of Zionism. The Genie is out of the bottle now, but Israel immediately sent out it’s hoards of online flying monkeys, like GIYUS (Give Israel Your United Support) and the JIDF (Jewish Internet Defense Force) to save Israel’s image in the world. I wrote quite an in depth report HERE and HERE on this attempt at controlling the internet and censoring sites by Israeli forces. I outlined how they target YouTube, Blogger, Facebook, Wordpress and even Wikipedia with their “hasbara” and censorship techniques. Always using the long tired excuse of “anti-Semitism” and “Muslim terrorism” in an attempt to have the owners of these online communities remove sites that were against Israel.
Today I want to report yet another campaign by the JIDF. It appears from their site, they are not too happy with the results they are now getting, so they have devised yet another plan to add to their censorship army. This time they are taking the fight for Censorship even further, this time they are having their people target the American Government. Yes, you heard me, they are asking their worldwide membership to now begin writing to US Congressmen, Senators and even to the Whitehouse. Asking them to censor the internet of sites that the JIDF deem as being too critical of Zionism or Israel, or, sites that are Pro-Palestinian!
So, as Americans have elected Obama to take the country back from the oppressive Bush Administration and to restore freedom of speech, civil rights and privacy to Americans. We now see Pro-Israeli lobbyists and groups such as the JIDF lobbying the American government remove even MORE of your rights!
1. Pro-terrorist and anti-Semitic content on the web poses a serious threat. Much of this content can be found on areas like Facebook, YouTube, Blogger, Wordpress, Wikipedia, etc.
2. Despite a massive campaign to report these groups to Facebook and to the Media, Facebook barely made a dent in removing them. However, we do give them credit for removing 106 problematic groups impacting over 125,000 people active in them (due to our concentrated effort of reporting groups.)
3. There are hundreds more which have not been deleted despite thousands of complaints. There are also many more new groups created daily, so the problem is spiraling out of control.
6. Politicians know that the future is in the hands of the younger generation. Let them know your concerns by writing. Please ask them to do whatever they can to help combat the serious problems of pro-terrorist and other hate groups all over Facebook (and the web.) Let them know that you feel much of the activity happening here might be illegal (since there are groups actively promoting illegal terrorist groups here) and that a proper government investigation should be considered.

So, how do you like that for asking the American government to spy on its own citizens for Israel!! I would also say to people reading this that you should also be very aware that the Israeli Government is about to pass a law on internet censorship in Israel. What do BLOGGER, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, and WIKIPEDIA have in common?
Following up on yesterdays post “Is Israel Controlling the Internet” today we will learn about Israel’s Government and the IDF attempting to censor and control the internet, face book, you tube and many other social networks, blogs, message boards and news organisations. Today I will be discussing these groups who work online for Israel and the IDF (Israeli Army).
These groups came about after the many genocidal murders committed by Israel and the IDF. Hundreds of Lebanese, Palestinians being killed, with the majority of them being innocent civilians, women and children. Israel need helps to re-create its image worldwide. What better place than the internet?
Why the internet? Because the internet is a huge echo chamber. It also influences what news you see on your television or MSM news sites, like CNN, ABC, MSNBC and CBS for instance. It also influences what you read in your newspapers worldwide. With today’s 24 hour news cycle, the need for fresh news is quite important for retaining viewers and readers. So, many news publications and organisations turn to the internet to see what the “buzz” is and then report on that. Also, due to the internets wide range of people and access to webcams, videos and blogs, many times regular individuals get important news online before main stream media does. Given these facts, who ever controls the internet controls the news and controls the battle for the hearts and minds of the general public. Hence the creation of JIDF and GIYUS.
Winning public opinion is extremely important, remember Americans vote, and they could, if organized, exert pressure on their government and President to stop handing over their hard earned tax dollars to Israel AND to boot out the Jewish Lobby from American politics. Which, (AIPAC, ZOA, ADL etc) they all but control at the American government at this time. They want you to belive that only little isolated Israel (with the 4th largest army in the world AND having nuclear weapons) is the only friend America has, and on this premise, Americans should back everything Israel does as they are our “friends” (even though they murder American military and cover it up, see HERE and HERE)
Their “job” is to win the battle of public opinion online. In other words, they want to influence what people think of Israel. So, to sway public opinion of Israel and it’s war crimes in Lebanon and Palestine, back in 2000 they decided to create an online group called JIDF or Jewish Internet Defence Force, to manipulate polls and message boards and blogs by spamming comments and votes. However, this has now progressed into removing sites, videos and blogs that critisize Israel or it's genocide in Palestine, also sites that are against Zionism, which, importantly, is NOT the same as being against Jews!! Notice that this JIDF group infiltrated and then took over a FACEBOOK group using some type of software, because they did not like the answer they got from FACEBOOK when they complained. The JIDF would not specify what technological methods it used to gain access to the group, but said it succeeded in doing so after the old administrators left.
The JIDF received a response from Facebook, he said, which called the anti-Israel group "legitimate political discourse." Facebook was not available for comment.
"[The JIDF] gained control of the group without compromising Facebook's security," Oboler said. "What they have done... is taken away the hate that was spreading through [the group's] membership. It's a shame that Facebook themselves did not remove it. It has taken a lot of effort from [the JIDF], while it would have taken Facebook one click."

Remember this, he who controls the internet controls the news and controls the battle for the hearts and minds of the general public. If any of this makes you angry or outraged, write to your Elected Representatives and demand that Israel stop censoring the internet. Who made them “Judge, Jury and Executioner”
We are all intelligent enough to make up our own minds *if* we are allowed to see unfettered information ourselves, why is Israel so worried? Because the internet is the LAST place news is free and where news can freely be put online for all to see. Don’t’ let Israel gain control of what you see, hear and read. America must stop being Israel’s “poodle”
