Israel Says “Kiss My Ass” Obama Says “OK”

Did You Really Think It Would Happen?

Middle East Peace, a FAIR and EQUAL deal for Palestinians? Two words, “wise up.”

Obama has been blowing bubbles up the arse of Arabs (and the rest of the world) for months now. And the mask has been slipping but now it’s fallen to the floor.

The “Evil Had Landed” in England a few days ago and I watched Netanyahu the Chosen one parade like a puffed up peacock outside of number 10 Downing Street. And as soon as he had his face in front of the cameras he just couldn’t contain himself, he practically shouted with smirking glee when confirming the mighty "ass kissing" that had obviously occured inside “No Freeze in Jerusalem” and my personal favourite load of bollox “Jerusalem is not a settlement” and of course “Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel”

This being the utter antithesis of the Obama policy for the Middle East Peace Plan, what retort do we hear from the “Whitehouse?” Why this one: “The US has dropped a demand that Israel freeze settlement construction in East Jerusalem, the Palestinian capital” and “citing Israeli officials and Western diplomats, reported that US Envoy George Mitchell capitulated to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal during their meeting in London on Wednesday. “ And if you look closely you can see the lip marks on Netanyahu’s arse from Mitchell’s lips. And if you listen closely you can hear the death knell of a real Palestinian state.

So what’s Obama managed to get for all the phoney rhetoric, fake threats, scripted and staged stand offs? Well, let’s see:

Obama got this:“Netanyahu offered Mitchell a nine-month freeze on settlement construction in the West Bank excluding Jerusalem.” Which is a limited “freeze” on “some” settlements, for a “limited” amount of time. Most likely enough time for Obama to attempt a “Snake Oil” sell to the public on what a selfless move Israel has made for peace. Are you bending over yet?

And Obama got this regarding East Jerusalem: “In addition, Netanyahu wants to exclude 2,500 housing units on which construction has already started, and the construction of schools and other structures in the settlements.” Start bending over……..

And Obama got this: “Israel is demanding that the Palestinian Authority and Arab states make their own concessions in exchange for a freeze. If these measures are not take, the report says, Israel wants guarantees that the US will not oppose an end to the freeze and further settlement construction.” Yes, the Arab states and the Palestinians must lick Israel’s arse immediately, or else the “limited” freeze in tiny “selected” unimportant areas will go “bye bye.” As if they mattered in the least. Bend over.

So, are you wondering how the meeting in London ended? Here ya go: “At the end of the London meeting Netanyahu and Mitchell issued a brief Joint Statement saying that they “had a very productive meeting today where the full range of issues was discussed.” It ended with Mitchell’s lips on Netanyahu’s Zionist arse, that’s how it ended and that’s what America got….nothing. So, why this outcome? Because the people of America just have not figured out yet that Israel controls their country, always has and always will. Until the American people wise up and start voting for Politicians who promise to put America and the Worlds best interests FIRST. source link

Obama Says "Reward The Criminals"

Here's Obamas brilliant plan to pay off Israel to stop building settlements. Of course, this will be after they finish building all the big ones and move their Zionist land grabbers in. Even though the settlements are Illegal, Obama's answer is to reward the criminals instead of making them do the right thing. Using this same logic, perhaps Obama will be rewarding Bernie Madoff soon with a "Get Out Of Jail Free Card" This is one of the inherent problems and mistakes in dealing with Israel. The "rewards" are never enough, each one is ferreted away and added to the heaping pile of past "rewards" and incentives. As such, they are never forced to adhere to the rules, never made to do the right thing and never held accountable to anyone including America. Instead, they are always given more "Prizes" to add to their collection. More after this:
US asks Arab nations to reach out to Israel

The White House has asked at least seven Arab countries to consider what they might do in return for an Israeli pledge to freeze construction of settlements in the West Bank.

George Mitchell Says:

“We have made good progress,” said Mr. Mitchell emerging from a two-hour meeting with the Israeli leader. The two are reportedly close to a compromise deal in which America would sanction the completion of settlement construction in its final phases in return for Israeli assurances it would freeze all other building for an as yet undetermined amount of time.
Notice the last 4 words? "undetermined amount of time" what this REALLY means is that America wants Arab states to actually reward Israel for freezing settlement activity for an "undetermined" amount of time. This could be three weeks, three months or three seconds. Not so Fast Obama, you are not the Messiah, the Arabs so far seem too smart for this fairytale:
Regional powerhouse Saudi Arabia will not recognise Israel until it withdraws from occupied Arab land and makes committed steps toward a lasting two-state solution, a senior official said on Wednesday.

Foreign ministry spokesman Osama Nugali also called Israeli policy "schizophrenic" and said it was jeopardising attempts to revive Middle East peace talks aimed at creating an independent Palestinian state.

"Our position is well known. It is Israel that has to move seriously towards the peace process," Nugali said.

"As we all know, Israel is continuing to take unilateral measures by changing the geographic and demographic facts on the ground, by building settlements and expanding the existing ones," he told AFP.link
Thank You Saudi Arabia, Now if only Egypt would wake up!

ISRAEL BUILDS OBAMA HUTS~NO, SERIOUSLY

They say "Truth is Stranger Than Fiction"

You're gonna love this one;-) There I was, about to enjoy my Friday evening, when suddenly I see this article about Illegal Israeli Settlers angered and outraged at Obama for wanting them thrown off Palestinian land. So, what do these "below average intelligence" inbred settlers do to "get back" at Obama? Why, they come up with a brilliant plan, an unbelievable plan, and a strategy that will definitely put the big "O" in his place! What is this plan you may ask? Why, they are building "Obama Huts" note: you may want to re read that, just to be sure you are not hallucinating, but I assure you, you are not.
Defiant Israeli settlers build 'Obama huts' in West Bank

Defiant Israeli settlers build illegal settlements in the West Bank and erect 'Obama huts' to express their disdain for the U.S. president and his positions on settlement expansion.
See? I told you I wasn't making this stuff up.....But wait, it gets a whole lot better....
A group of defiant Israeli settlers have built a number of illegal structures in the West Bank and are showcasing what they have termed 'Obama huts' in reaction to President Obama's position against Israeli settlement expansion on Palestinian land.

In a direct challenge to the Obama administration and to the greater peace initiative between Israel and Palestine, rogue settlers on Friday have converged on an outpost named Oz Yehonatan and built a wooden structure and labeled it the 'Obama hut.'
But wait, there's more... So, as you may have guessed, there goes my Friday night, because of course, I can't simply ignore THIS one! I mean, the sheer ramifications of just the premise of an actual "Obama Hut" existing, sent my mind racing...........see below:

So many questions...Would it be a tall hut on skinny legs like Obama's legs? Or would it be a round topped hut like his roundy head? Oh, what would it be?????? I personally imagined the two “O Hut” versions below. Here are the finished products:

Version #1 a skinny legged spacious "O Hut" built to exacting standards for the discerning settler.

And if that one is not to your liking, here is the new round headed "O Hut" again, built to exacting specifications, just like the original.

And what else did the Zionist cockroach settlers who built the “O Huts” have to say about Obama’s wish for Peace with Palestinians?
"It's all illusions. With these savages, there was never peace, there is no peace and there will not be peace," Hebron-Kiryat Arba Chief Rabbi Dov Lior told The Jerusalem Post. "It's not because we don't want it, but because they are enemies of peace. We just have to hope that our entire country is cleared of terrorists, their supporters, their backers and their camels. They should all be sent to Saudi Arabia." link
Wow, Obama touched a nerve, Israel is having a meltdown and I'm enjoying watching the fallout....Oh and I’m certain those huts will force Obama and America into submission, thanks for the laugh Israel, you people clearly need to get a life………..preferably on another planet.

Israel's Pattern of Theft

Notice a pattern here? Israel steals land from its surrounding neighbours, attacks them and then wants peace? Perhaps in "Bizarro World" maybe, but not in the real world. If Canada took over New York and refused to return it, would America just give up attempting to get it back, would America fight to have it returned? You betcha! Same in Palestine and Syria. The Israeli aggressors must be forced to return all land and make peace for their own welfare and that of the entire region. It's the only way forward, the world knows this, time to hold Israel accountable.
Turkey's President Abdullah Gul has urged Israel to resume peace talks with Syria as Tel Aviv says it will not return the occupied Golan Heights to Syria.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad on Friday, Gul called on Israel to accept its responsibilities in forging peace, saying "Israel has to show clearly it is a partner."

Gul made the remarks a week after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel would never withdraw from the Golan Heights and said, "Remaining on the Golan will ensure Israel has a strategic advantage in cases of military conflict with Syria".

Israel seized the Golan Heights in the 1967 Middle East war and annexed the Syrian territory in 1981, a move never recognized by the international community.

Syria has demanded the return of all the Golan Heights, saying the strategic region will always belong to Syria and Israel's departure from it is the only way to peace -- a call which Israel has so far rejected. source

Israel to Steal More Land..........AGAIN

The Racist Israeli cockroach settlers and their supporters are at it again. Stealing more land from the rightful owners and pushing forward with their plans for Ethnically Cleansing the region.
Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai has decided to approve recommendations by a special committee within the Israeli Interior Ministry to expand the illegal West Bank settlement of Ma’ale Adumim by 12,000 dunums (12 million square meters).

Expansion will include 6,000 housing units to be built between the Ma’ale Adumim and Qedar settlements, it was announced on Sunday morning. more here

Syria Lays Down the Law to Israel

Syria said today, no peace between them and Israel without Israel withdrawing from the Golan Heights FIRST. Well done Syria...Now's the time to "go for it" as obama has decided Israel WILL make peace in the region. So get it while the gettin's good!

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad states that Israel's withdrawal from the Golan Heights is a prerequisite for peace between Syria and Israel.

Speaking at a joint press conference with the Austrian President, Heinz Fischer, in Vienna on Monday, President al-Assad highlighted that the strategic Golan Heights will always belong to Syria and Israel's departure from Golan is the only way to peace.

Israel captured the Golan Heights following the 1967 Six-Day War and annexed the Syrian territory in 1981. Raising Damascus' ire further, Israeli warplanes destroyed Syria's al-Kibar conventional military site in 2007 blaming the country for harboring a nuclear reactor -- a claim rejected by Syria.

The Syrian leader meanwhile noted that his country opposes nuclear weapons but believes that all countries should be awarded the right to access peaceful and civilian nuclear energy.

President Fischer, for his part, outlined that Vienna backs Israeli-Syrian peace negotiations based on relevant UN resolutions.

Under the auspices of Turkey, Israel and Syria launched peace talks last May aimed at reaching a comprehensive peace agreement.

Negotiations reached a stalemate in September after the resignation of former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert.

Syria then withdrew from the talks in protest to the latest Israeli military operation in the Gaza Strip -- in late December 2008 and January 2009 -- where at least 1,330 Palestinians lost their lives in the three-week carnage source

WAKE UP~Israel Blackmailing Obama to Attack Iran~UPDATED

I found this little gem of a report in the GulfNews, which, is quite telling indeed.
Occupied Jerusalem: Israel will not move ahead on the core issues of peace talks with the Palestinians until it sees progress in US efforts to stop Iran's suspected pursuit of a nuclear weapon and to limit Tehran's rising influence in the region, a top government officials familiar with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's still-nascent policy on the issue said.
And this:
But Obama’s priorities are not Israel’s. Netanyahu said earlier this week that he will not participate in talks until the President makes headway on Israel’s number one issue: stopping Iran’s nuclear program. To drive that point home this morning, the President was told by Israeli Ambassador Sallai Meridor to confront Iran “before it’s too late.” source
and yet one more below of importance to illustrate the Israeli mindset:
Obama’s administration has marginalized Israel in its policies of international diplomacy by its flirtation and partial engagement with Israel’s enemies. Bibi must show Obama that Israel won’t be marginalized. One definitive way to do this is by taking swift and decisive military action against Iran, standing up to Obama as Begin stood up to Regan in 1982.source
Israel is now linking the Palestinian peace process advancement, to dealing with Iran (how Israel wants to deal with Iran!! meaning war WITH American assistance!) I will now lay out how and why Israel is doing this IMHO.

Now, back to the statement by Netanyahu's sockpuppet. I see multiple problems with sections of that statement. First, it is now not only about Iran’s nuclear capabilities, or its right to develop nuclear power for its people. It has now moved on to yet another wacko Israeli reason for attacking Iran, for instance, just what does “limit Tehran's rising influence in the region” exactly mean, and since when is the popularity of a nation, among other Arab/Middle East countries considered to be cause for attacking it? Israel is now attempting to get America involved in attacking Iran, Don’t believe me? Read on.

Why did we suddenly see a massive softening earlier this week by Netanyahu now saying that Hamas having to recognize Israel as a pre-condition to any talks is no longer required. I’ll tell you why, because Palestinian peace is now linked to Iran, that’s why! To be honest, I thought Israel was caving into Obama's Middle East plan just a wee bit to quickly. I mean, given Lieberman and Netanyahu's Zionist inclinations. Along with the Israeli Governments tunnel vision quest to attack another of its neighbors, Iran. Sure despite the little “war of words” and general “pissing contest” between Obama and Lieberman recently regarding Annapolis and other issues. Always skeptical, we now have the answer to what is REALLY going on here.

Israel is using the Middle East Peace deal pushed by Obama and his Administration, as a bargaining chip to invade Iran. To put it simply, Israel will not move forward on the Palestinian issue, unless and until, the US deals with Iran. And trust me, this also means US participation in that attack on Iran. More on that further down the post.

So, what this really means are two things. Firstly, it means that any movement on Palestine will be inextricably linked to any progress with Iran. And rest assured it will be Israel who decides how much, or what type of “progress” with Iran it will accept, before dealing with Palestinian issues. Secondly, it places yet more pressure on the US to either allow Israel to strike Iran (with covert US participation), or have the US publicly and openly assist Israel in striking Iran. Be certain that the US will HAVE to assist Israel should it attack Iran. I’ll show you why, the answer is in the geography of the region!

It is very clear, America will surely have to assist in re-fueling and strategic ops, and additionally providing more weapons, drones and guidance systems and such. Also, I would expect that given the US has control of Iraq, don’t be surprised if Iraqi bases are not used by American planes assisting Israel, as I doubt that even the US would have the audacity to (OPENLY) allow Israel to land in Iraq. But, there could be “so called” US fighters landing (really Israeli planes) don’t believe me? Just take a wee look at this map below

Notice where little Israel is, far over on the left side where the red “star” shape is?? Now, take a look to the right at Iran. Notice how far away it is? But, what is worse for Israel, and why it will need America to help, is the multiple other countries it would have to fly over, or through to even GET to Iran. The list would be as follows: Turkey (no way would Turkey allow this!) then we have Syria LOL (as if THEY would allow this!) Then we have Jordan (Don’t think Jordan would agree) and then we have Saudi Arabia, good friend to America and American oil companies. If Saudi Arabia allows them to fly through its airspace, there is still one small problem, it is still a very long way to Iran (they’d need re-fueling) and moreover, it is hard to stage any attack from as far away as Israel, unless Israel was going to nuke Iran, and that’s not going to happen. So the deal will be this; The US controls Iraq, so I’m giving you one guess here. Yup, you’re right, the US would either allow Israel to attack Iran from Iraq, or just as bad, the US would “assist” Israel attacking Iran from Iraq. Either way, just look at the map, Iraq will be used to attack Iran.

So, just what do you think that will do to US Arab/Muslim relations that are already “trashed” What will that do to “help” peace in the Middle East? Even worse, how do you think that will play out in solving the problems in Iraq? Will it cut down, or increase attacks on US Soldiers? Will it ultimately set the country of Iraq on a course to elect a hardliner Government that will be anti-American? Thus creating yet another Middle East problem that will take generations to resolve if ever. And dare I mention the big guy Bin Laden? What would allowing Iraq (and Saudi Arabia's airspace) to be used in an attack on Iran do to swell the ranks of Al Qaeda? Surely Bin Laden will see this as a gift to play upon the huge anti-American sentiment that will prevail after an attack on Iran, and will use this to gain a greater foothold in the Middle East so open you eyes here!

You will be witnessing a complete breakdown of the Middle East countries, except of course Israel, which is exactly what Israel wants to see happen. Why? Because that places Israel and the US in the same situation. Then Israel will have created a situation where the US is now as isolated as Israel is. Perfect for Israel to capitalise on in further controlling the future of America. If you do not stop allowing Israel to control your country, very soon you will find yourself in the very same situation Israel is in. You will be the 2nd most hated country in the world, and get used to not having real freedom anymore. You will live like Israeli’s do,in paranoia and constantly in fear. Never being able to safely travel outside your prison known as the United States of America. Is that really what American’s want? I don’t think so. I believe the American public, on the whole, are good decent people. However, I believe that the Jewish Lobby has controlled your country for far too long and fed you a diet of anti-Arab, anti-Muslim, whilst at the same time, continually brainwashing you into believing that only “Israel” is your friend. When in fact, Israel actually keeps you from making friends with other countries.

Making peace in the Middle East, and the USA developing a relationship with Iran would be devastating for Israel. This is why they block this from taking place. Because it would mean the end to the so called “special” relationship Israel has with the US, additionally it would end the US Cash Cow of billions to Israel each year.

Lastly, about Iran’s’ President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Is he an asshat? Perhaps... But remember he does not control Iran, unlike when Bush was in office he DID control America. I would ask you to step back for a moment and dispense with the “US and Israeli Propaganda” you have been infected with for years. Look, the reality is that he says much of what he does to create a stir. It’s just words, words don’t kill people, bombs do. Iran has never, ever made any sort of threatening gestures militarily towards its neighbours. Can you say that about Israel who appears to make a habit of attacking people?

And here’s some food for thought, but only for those brave souls who can think outside the box; Think about Iran's President as you read this next bit. Because there but for the grace of God goes Bush. Meaning the rest of the world don't see much of a difference between Bush and Iran's president. Except for one HUGE difference, that difference is that Iran's president does not have control of the country, and he cannot simply decide to go to war, like Bush can and did. Bush was the most hated President ever, leaving office with the worst American approval rating. But guess what? Americans elected that asshole not once but TWICE!! And Bush said many things just as bad as Ahmadinejad. Bush used "religion and God" to justify his wars, Bush also hated gays, attempted to keep them from having equal rights. Attempted to take choice from women, took away your civil rights, invaded your privacy using the politics of fear, waged war on the Muslim world after 9-11, waged war on Iraq on a bold faced lie, then attempted to cover it up,he divided the world conveniently into two black and white halves, no grey areas. Muslims were demonised, Christians and Jews glorified. Oh, and let us not forget about the secret torture chambers, the breaking of laws on torture, the glorious photos of soldiers in Iraq mocking and degrading Muslims. I can tell you those vivid pictures live in the minds of Muslims and decent people of the world, are not forgotten. And as hated as he was worldwide, especially in Muslim countries, I can assure you as someone not living in the USA who did not have my media controlled by Bush, I am telling you that Muslims were not against you as a people, however, America was against them as a people. Muslims were capable of distinguishing between your insane President and the American people. Can you now do the same? That is the legacy you must live with and change.

You must force your government to expel Israeli spies and lobby groups, say “No” to the Israeli blackmail of linking the Palestinian issue to Iran, they have nothing to do with each other and this is yet another Israeli stall tactic that will lead to more division between America and the Muslim world, additionally re-read the bit on Iraq.

And you can start by taking back your country from the clutches of Zionist war mongers who would like nothing more than to have America be so isolated that the only “friend” it has is Israel. Why, just think, the US could be re-named to the “United States of America and Israel”

That’s your future unless you wake up now and stop it.

Think about it for the rest of the world

Rachel Corrie~Gaza Delegation & MORE

Parents of Gaza Activist Rachel Corrie Joins Discussions of "My Name is Rachel Corrie" at Unicorn Theatre

Craig and Cindy Corrie will appear for a discussion after the Friday and Saturday performances to discuss Rachel’s work and their participation in a Gaza aid delegation in March.

The parents of Rachel Corrie, the 23-year-old American killed by an Israeli Defense Forces bulldozer in Gaza six years ago, will visit Kansas City on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 to attend the play “My Name is Rachel Corrie” performed on the Unicorn Theatre’s Jerome Stage at 3828 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

Craig and Cindy Corrie will appear for a discussion after the Friday and Saturday performances to discuss Rachel’s work and their participation in a Gaza aid delegation in March. The Corries joined 60 other people on the March delegation to Gaza, including Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Alice Walker. Delegates -- which included members of the Jewish and Muslim communities, as well as doctors, businesspeople, lawyers and college students – met with Palestinian aid groups, Gazan women, and United Nations officials. They also toured the aftermath of the three-week Israeli assault earlier this year and deliver 2,000 gift baskets to Gazan women, purchased through an outpouring of donations through the CODEPINK website to honor Gazan women.

Craig and Cindy Corrie have traveled and spoken extensively responding to interest in their daughter’s story. “We are encouraged that people throughout the U.S. and around the world want to know more. We hope and believe that in sharing Rachel’s story and ours that we continue her work—drawing attention to the plight of the Palestinian people and supporting those Israelis, Palestinians and internationals who are working determinedly to end the illegal Israeli occupation and to bring freedom, justice, and a secure peace to these two peoples,” Cindy Corrie said. SMACKDOWN~Obama vs Netanyahu

Oooooooooooooooh, it's just like "thunderdome" two men go in, one comes out LOL, My money is on Obama!!Let the smackdown begin!

CAIRO — US President Barack Obama's team is engaged in preemptive discussions with Democratic congressmen in anticipation of a face-off with Israel’s new far-right government on the two-state peace solution.

"In an unprecedented move, the Obama administration is readying for a possible confrontation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by briefing Democratic Congressmen on the peace process,"

"The Obama administration is expecting a clash with Netanyahu over his refusal to support the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel."

Obama wants Netanyahu to honor all commitments made by previous Israeli governments.

Shortly after the hawkish premier refused to support the two-state solution, US administration officials held several meetings with Democratic congressmen.

They discussed disagreements with Tel Aviv over the peace process and creation of a Palestinian state.

"The preemptive briefing is meant to foil the possibility that Netanyahu may try to bypass the administration by rallying support in Congress," said Haaretz.

As the Obama team ready for a diplomatic face-off, many in Israel fear that the far-right government is destroying ties with their country's closest ally.

Yohanan Plesner, a lawmaker from the opposition Kadima party, is particularly concerned about comments by firebrand Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

"At such a sensitive time, when Israeli-US ties are about to be redefined, Lieberman is damaging the relationship and putting at risk America's commitment to supporting Israel," Plesner told Yediot Ahronot.

Since taking office only last week, Lieberman has repeatedly claimed that peace talks with Palestinians hit a dead-end.

"The elephant continues to run amok and there is no one to stop him," said Eitan Cabel, a lawmaker for the Labor Party, a member of the coalition government.

"It must be stopped now because the man's lack of control over his mouth causes irreparable harm." source

Israel NOT Invited to Peace Conference

A Palestinian negotiator on Tuesday said Israel can not be invited to an international peace conference planned to take place in the near future in Moscow.

"Some players like Israel can not be invited to Moscow conference because it denies all the political references and wants to continue building settlements," said Yasser Abed Rabbo, amember of the Palestinian negotiation team.

The PNA mainly blames the continuation of settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem for the stillness of the negotiations. The two territories would form most of the future statehood.

The prospect of the peace talks waned after a new rightist Israeli government took office with its firebrand Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman focuses on making peace with the moderate Arab countries rather than the Palestinians.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is on a visit to Russia, was told that Moscow was looking at the possibility of combining the Middle East conference with U.S. President Barack Obama's visit in July. source

Hey America, Don't Think You Have a Zionist Problem??

Hello America, the US Zionists are at it again, you have subversive groups, within your borders, loyal to another country working against your President. Would you allow British, French,German, or Arab control of your country? Well you are allowing Israel to control America and it is working against what is best for America. Cut these people loose. Support your President and your country, expel them if they are working against America's policies and also attempting to free a man who spied on the USA and was convicted of this HERE And so far as Israel being a "friend" to America, if the spy is not enough to convince you, then remember the USS Liberty and then read this:

Don't Give in to Pressure for a PA State

In a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the US-based National Council of Young Israel (NCYI) urged him to reject global pressures to agree to a Palestinian state. The organization also called for action to obtain freedom for imprisoned Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard

The April 1, 2009 letter, released to the press on Monday, was signed by Shlomo Z. Mostofsky, Esq., President of the NCYI, and Rabbi Pesach Lerner, its Executive Vice President. The NCYI represents over 150 Orthodox synagogues throughout the United States and Canada, with another 50 congregations in Israel affiliated with its sister organization, Yisrael HaTza'ir.

The NCYI leaders referred to unnamed "external forces" that "may call upon you to take a conciliatory approach towards the Palestinians," adding, "[We] implore you to stand firm and reject any pressure to accede to calls for the creation of a Palestinian state. We believe that an independent Palestinian state would merely compound the complex problems that currently exist and open the door to a new wave of acts of terror directed at innocent Israeli civilians."

As for the Israeli agent in American hands, Mostofsky and Rabbi Lerner further said, "[We] hope that when you meet with President Obama, you will directly ask the President to commute Jonathan Pollard's prison sentence. ...It is time to set Jonathan Pollard free and send him home to Israel."
(No, it's time to STFU and throw away the key and let him serve his LIFE sentance!!)

Israel & Palestine Will Enter Peace Talks

Not sure if this is accurate, but worth mentioning anyway.

The London-based Al Sharq Al Awsat (Middle East) newspaper reported Saturday that Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are set to resume peace talk by the end of this month.
The paper added that the new Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu of the Likud party, is planning to visit Cairo in preparation for the talks.

Yet, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Husam Zaki, said that he is unaware of the alleged preparations for Netanyahu’s visit to his country.

This report comes while the new Israeli Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, of the extremist Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) Party stated on Wednesday that Israel is not bound by its commitment to the 2007 Annapolis Conference in Maryland, USA.

Lieberman, one of the biggest advocated for settlement construction and expansion in the West Bank, said that Israel should not commit to the signed peace deals. MORE

JUST IN CASE YOU NEEDED IT~More Proof Israel Does Not Want Peace!

This just out today. Israel's racist, bigoted, evil, FM Zionist Avigdor Lieberman rejects US Annapolis deal. Go figure! Where's a good heart attack when you need one? This fits perfectly with what I wrote about HERE about a great piece written by Uri Avnery where he lays out Israel's plan to deceive Obama regarding peace.

Israel's new ultra-nationalist foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman has said it is not bound by a US-sponsored 2007 agreement to reach a peace deal with the Palestinians.

"The Annapolis conference, it has no validity," said in his first speech since taking office.

He was speaking at a handover ceremony at the foreign ministry, prompting his predecessor Tzipi Livni to interrupt and diplomats to shift uncomfortably.

The Annapolis process was meant to lead to the creation of a Palestinian state.

Palestinian leaders say Mr Lieberman's stance could undermine stability.

"There is one document that obligates us - and that's not the Annapolis conference, it has no validity," Mr Lieberman said.

One Jewish Hero

This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever read. A personal journey of a man who did not want to join the Israeli Army (IDF) How he thought through all the options available to him. Using his moral compass and humanity, he came to the very real conclusion, he had only three choices: The Army, the Shrink, and the Prison – a story of three forms of oppression. From Palestine Israel Education Project http://www.thinkpep.net/

A letter from an Israeli teenager refusing to go into the army

About three years ago, as a youth of 18 years, I was facing the same dilemma facing most Israelis today: Do I go to the army like most people, do I go to the army psychologist and play crazy to get out of the army like so many Israelis do, or do I refuse to go to the army and to the shrink and go to prison? I want to look at these three options again, the way I did three years ago.

The first option is going to the army. This is the “normal” thing to do. This is what most Israelis do. This is what people in the whole world do, and have always done, when there is a war, a danger to their society. But is it the right thing to do? In order to answer that question I had to take a very careful look around me. I had to think of my experience with this conflict, and what I know of it.

When I was in the 9th grade, a teacher, asked me to join a new project called "The NIR School", introducing students, across national boundaries, to the field of biotechnology. I thought it would be interesting to go school with Palestinians, so I agreed. I found myself, in the summer of '99, on a two-week long program, with 60 youths from Israel, Jordan and the West Bank, living in youth hostels in Israel and Jordan. It was the first time I got to meet Palestinians. We didn't talk about current affairs. We got to know each other through study groups, social activities and music lessons. Rarely one of the Palestinian members would share a check-point story, but mostly it just didn't come up.

When the Intifada broke out, I talked to my NIR School friends on the phone and on the internet. The staff put together a special reunion for us. Almost all of the Israelis were there, but only 6 of 20 Palestinians came, in spite of heavy objection from their friends. Nu'ha from Beit-Jalla cried when talking about the shelling of her neighborhood, Muhanad from Tul-Karrem spoke of three days of detention in very harsh terms, and Sari told us of his friends who were shot dead during a demonstration.

This set me on a long road, traveling among the villages and towns of the West Bank in special convoys of the “Ta’ayush” movement, an Arab – Jewish partnership. As I rode in the convoy bringing food, water, and basic necessities to Palestinian villages, I found out that the state of Israel commits war crimes and tramples on human rights, destroying Palestinian cities, towns and villages, stealing land, detaining and executing people without trial, demolishing houses, businesses, and public institutions; looting, imposing closure and curfew on Palestinians, using torture and prevention of medical care, and all the time continuing with the construction and
expansion of Jewish settlements on Palestinian land. All this made me realize that I could not be a part of an army that engages in this kind of oppression.

I was left with two options. Going to the army psychologist is easy. Many people get a release from the army because they “don’t sleep well at night”, “think of killing themselves” and so on. Everybody knows how to do it.

But this too is oppression. Because it means you have to say something is wrong with YOU, not the army. You have to go quietly to ask for this release – and not proudly state your beliefs. Worst of all – it takes out most of the meaning of not going to the army. Because this means that a few people more don’t go to be occupiers – but many others will go. In order to make a change you have to go public – and if you go public they won’t let you go.

So I was left with prison. Of course prison is a very hard thing to go through, and of course it is also oppression. But going to prison is also one of the only things anyone in Israel can do these days to make a difference nonviolently. It is a moral step to take, a way of talking to people. Going to prison means you really believe in what you do, and you’re willing to pay a price for it. Going to prison was a way for us (me and my friends) to start talking to more Israelis and to tell them about the Palestinians we met, about the occupation, and about the responsibility we think we have to change things. It gave us a chance to reach Palestinians and show them that there are Israelis you can talk to and build something positive with. Most of all – it was the oppression I had to suffer from, in order to help lessen the oppression against others.

That is why I choose prison – and that is why I am still glad I made this decision, even after a long and hard two years behind bars.

TAXPAYERS MONEY FASTEST Way to Middle East Peace & Help American Economy at Same Time

Fastest Way to Middle East Peace and America Saves Money to Boot!!

Wow, although I have been saying this for ages, now someone actually wrote an article about this. Why are Americans suffering with job loss and loosing their homes, while the American Government sends 30 Billion of taxpayer’s money to Israel??? Wouldn’t that money be better spent on those who actually LIVE in America and earned that money in the first place? Evidently the penny is now dropping, about time. Imagine what that money could do to help suffering Americans instead of lining the pockets of some foreign country! And Excellent take on this from Paul J. Balles over at redress.

The absurdity of spending US tax dollars on Israel while Americans struggle on

Paul J. Balles argues that if enough ordinary Americans “feel the pinch and connect the dots between their own financial losses and America’s continued unbridled support of Israel’s devastating war machine, Israel could be forced to make peace with the Palestinians”.

The things that are now painfully connected to the recent financial crisis in America include health care costs that people are unable to meet, home foreclosures, job losses, excessive credit debt and loss of pay.

Is it possible that an economic catastrophe in America might have a surprisingly positive effect? An article by Jane Stillwater entitled "Our dual-citizenship Congress” suggested an unforeseen result that could be very good for the whole world.

She writes:

I turned on the television last night and listened to the local news anchor tell me, "The State of California is currently facing bankruptcy." I live in California.

This is not good news. Plus California's jobs are drying up, homes are being foreclosed on, stores are going out of business, schools are laying off teachers, banks are eliminating branches. The eighth-largest economy in the world is about to tank. Boy could we use some financial help from the feds.

Then, after asking, “But will we get it?” she concludes, “Probably not.”

But Congress still continues to enthusiastically pour billions of our taxpayers' dollars into the Israeli economy each year. What's with that?

Do our Congressional representatives hold dual citizenship with the United States and Israel or what? When are they going to stop voting pork for Israel and start voting bailout money for CA?

Are we Californians going to have to start firing Qassam rockets at Washington to get their attention or what?

After getting Jane's permission, I sent her article to my Congressman and cc'd it to everyone I know in California. The next day, I received several comments that echoed Jane’s complaint. Why are we continuing to send US taxpayer money to support Israel’s slaughter of innocents in Gaza while we don’t have enough money to support our own economy?

My daughter wrote, "It infuriates me to think that they are spending our tax $$$ for Israel instead of our own country and state.

How can this possibly have a positive outcome? The economic crisis in both state and federal budgets has already pinched many shoes. Americans are very upset at the damage done to their financial conditions.

If enough people feel the pinch and connect the dots between their own financial losses and America’s continued unbridled support of Israel’s devastating war machine, Israel could be forced to make peace with the Palestinians.

How could that happen? Israel would no longer be able to ignore the Arab peace initiative first proposed in 2002 that offers pan-Arab recognition of Israel in exchange for Israel’s withdrawal from lands captured in 1967. read it all HERE

HAMAS "Will Not Recognise" FATAH Deals with Israel

Hamas will not accept nor recognise deals made between FATAH and Israel. And why should they, those deals failed miserably and there has now been a genocide in Gaza. Hamas won a landslide victory in a democratic election, therefore it is time to negotiate a new deal with Israel.

The Islamic Hamas movement on Saturday emphasized it will not recognize the peace obligations signed by the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) with Israel.

Salah al-Bardaweel, a Hamas lawmaker, told the press that " Hamas can not accept the PLO's deals because any upcoming government would be formed by Hamas and Fatah and will reflect our views and we will re-compile any word the government speaks."

The PLO issue is still one of the biggest obstacles that prevents Hamas and President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah from reaching a unity deal in the Egyptian-hosted reconciliation talks.

The peace deals are mainly referred to the 1993 Israeli- Palestinian peace accords reached in Oslo which enabled the creation of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and stipulated the peace negotiations between the PLO and Israel.

Asked if Hamas can accept the PLO commitments, al-Bardaweel responded with a question: "Why should we put all the Palestinians in Oslo's ragged basket?"

The unity talks aim at forming a coalition mainly comprising Hamas, which won the parliamentary elections in 2006, and Fatah, to overcome several internal and external problems. But since the dialogue is comprehensive, the reforming of the PLO was put on the table.

Fatah demands that the new government must recognize the PLO commitments so the international community will deal with it in return, but Hamas refuses. link

Israel & Egypt-30th Anniversary Not Happy One

Egypt & Israel,
Happy 30th Anniversary?
Maybe not!

Egypt has suffered greatly due to the recent genocide in Gaza and it's shameless silence and support for fellow Arabs being slaughtered en mass. Many in Egypt and other Arab states are not celebrating the Egypt-Israeli treaty’s 30th anniversary, and with good reason. Great report from the BBC just out:

In Cairo, the 30th anniversary of the signing of the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt is seen by many as a moment for regret, not celebration.

"It's a celebration for Israel - not for Egypt, not for the Arabs, not for the Palestinians," says Issam al-Aryan of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamist opposition movement which is officially banned in Egypt.

"I think the majority of Egyptians are against the treaty after 30 years."
Israel is holding events to mark what it calls a "watershed" moment, the first time an Arab nation recognised the Jewish state.

But there are no commemorations in Egypt, where discussion of the treaty focuses on concerns over Israel's new right-wing government and a campaign in the courts to stop Egypt selling its gas to Israel at below-market rates.

Pariah status

Under the deal, Israel agreed to withdraw from the Sinai Peninsula which it had occupied in whole or in part since 1967. In return, Egypt agreed to demilitarise the area and normalise relations with Israel. Promises of a comprehensive peace agreement for the whole Middle East quickly ran into the sand and Egypt went from a leader in the Arab world to a pariah.

Despite public outrage, the government refused to open its border with Gaza, leading to accusations that Cairo was putting its relationship with Israel and the US above the suffering of the Palestinians.

But some say Egypt could worry less about antagonising Israel.

"Since Israel violated its commitments [under the treaty] by carrying out military actions on Egyptian borders, by not going along with the intention in Camp David to reach a comprehensive settlement in the Middle East, and violated its commitments to the Palestinians, and its commitments under international law, I think Egypt has a good argument for offering more support to the Palestinians," says Professor Mustafa Kamel al-Sayed of the American University in Cairo

Undiplomatic presence

But the arrival of Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud-led government in Israel, including the hardliner Avigdor Lieberman as a possible foreign minister, brings fresh concerns for stability. Mr Lieberman said Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak should "go to hell", and has suggested bombing the Aswan Dam, drowning Egypt in the waters of the Nile.

Such language does "not make Israelis very good partners", admits former diplomat Ahmed Maher:

"The Israelis are so arrogant... We are on a very shaky foundation, but a shaky foundation which has endured because we Egyptians have been wise.
"You can't live by the sword alone, this is something the Israelis, in the arrogance of power, have not yet realised."

Many Egyptians are bitter that their precedent of exchanging land for peace did not lead to a comprehensive settlement.

Instead, some believe Israel returned Sinai to consolidate its hold on other occupied territories and free its hand to pursue military action against the Palestinians and in Lebanon.

Fact of life

Although there is now talk of a possible deal between Israel and Syria, Issam al-Aryan warns the Syrians not to believe it will help in the wider conflict:
"I hope they can study and review 30 years of discomfort and struggle in Egypt against the treaty.

"They are intelligent enough to get the lesson: the problem is not in Golan or Sinai, it is in Acre, Haifa, Jaffa, Gaza, Ramallah, that is the problem."
But even the Muslim Brotherhood shies away from calling for Egypt's treaty to be ripped up.

"Many people are opposed to this treaty," says Professor Mustafa Kamel al-Sayed.
"Israel did not live up to its treaty... But I think the Egyptian public considers the treaty to be a fact of life".

In three decades, Egypt's cold peace with Israel has never warmed.
The treaty may now be a fact of life. But it is still not a comfortable one.
