link A coalition of Jewish groups has asked the U.S. secretary of education to review (change)a policy that appears to preclude addressing discrimination complaints on the basis of religion.

The letter to Arne Duncan urges the department's Office for Civil Rights to treat incidents of campus anti-Semitism as discrimination on the basis of race and national origin, not just religion,

“Jewish students … should have some recourse and some remedy if they’re subject to intimidation or harassment on the basis of their identity of being Jewish,” said Richard Foltin, director of national and legislative affairs at the American Jewish Committee. “We want to make sure that the resources of our national institutions, our federal government, are in place for those students when they’re needed.”

That's rich! Using the American Government and American laws to enact censorship on American Campuses for so called Americans who are loyal to another country. That statement about "national origin" tells it all. So you can be born in the USA which makes you an American, but if you're Jewish, it makes you some other "national origin"

All this is fancy talk for trying to create censorship, nothing more.

Criticizing Israel May Be Deemed As Crime

So, do you all see what’s happening here? The “old” Anti-Semitism, you remember it don’t you? I like to call it the “real” Anti-Semitism, it existed, and today it still exists to some extent, just like Anti-Catholic, Anti-Muslim, Anti-Black, Anti-Irish, Anti-Hispanic, etc, etc, etc still exist in racially and ethnically motivated haters. However, the Zionists, who took over Judaism and “changed” it to a neocon rightwing violent nationalist movement akin to Al-Qaeda, are now attempting to include criticism of both the State of Israel and Zionism as the “new” Anti-Semitism.” And they are quietly trying to get the laws changed to reflect this.

Here are my thoughts; Why only them? Where are the laws that outlaw criticism of America’s government (8 years of Bush Bashing) or American’s for re-electing the moron and going into Iraq under false pretences and a bare faced lie to the world? Or what about America's little war crimes, they aren't censored. I mean just surf the web for millions of Anti-American Government policy articles, blogs and comments. You see where I’m going with this?

It’s called “Free Speech” the ability for the public to express opinions about world events, world governments, their own government’s actions, or in-actions. And this is one of the most important rights the people of this world have, it must not be legislated away by Zionist owned, bought and paid for government officials. The article I am including today is about what’s happening in America, but rest assured it’s taking place quietly all over the world in the most outspoken countries that “claim” freedom of speech as a cornerstone, a democratic right to be fought for and protected. But, bit by bit it is becoming eroded by continous well funded attempts to weaken those rights from Israeli supported Zionists.

“Free Speech” is their enemy, more so than Muslims, Hamas, or Iran’s non-existent nuclear Weapons. Free Speech is where the battle lines are drawn now. It is our blogs and our websites and our newspapers and our television programs like the recent “Investigating the Israeli Lobby in Britain” that most threatens Israel’s plans of continued genocide of Arabs and Muslims, of expanding through illegal land grabs, of torture, internment, beatings, house evictions, land grabbing, burning fields and olive trees, tunnelling under Al Aqsa, invading Al Aqsa, quietly taking over the whole of Jerusalem and most of the West Bank. It’s like the scene from the Wizard of Oz; pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. But we are paying attention and the attention is what will ultimately force Israel into becoming somewhat controlled. It is the “free speech factor” that has the most effect on Israel, and it must be protected by all of us.

This recent Zionist “trend” of linking Anti-Semitism with criticizing Israel, its soldiers, its actions and its policies in our OWN countries must be reversed. Human nature is to not believe such a thing cannot happen, that Israel cannot take away our rights to free speech. People will say this is impossible, that our rights to free speech cannot be taken from us by some evil dictators with nefarious intentions. To this kind of thinking I can only point to history, remember Hitler……….For if Israel gets it’s way, we will all be mushrooms very soon, living in the dark and being fed bullshit. Also consider events in Canada, initiated by a body called the Canadian Parliamentary Coalition to Combat Antisemitism (CPCCA), a voluntary association of 22 MPs investigating anti-semitism because, it says:

ADL said the level of anti-Semitism matched 1998's as the lowest in the poll's 45-year history. Yet in his 2003 book, "Never Again? The Threat Of The New Anti-Semitism," national director, Abraham Foxman, said he's:

"convinced we currently face as great a threat to the safety of the Jewish people as the one we faced in the 1930s - if not a greater one," contradicted by Cato Institute research fellow Leon Hadar (writing in the January 2004 Chronicles) that public opinion polls "indicate anti-Semitism (both its racial and religious versions) has been in steep decline in most of Western Europe...."

The result gets bodies like CPCCA to exploit it, with disturbing implications of where this may lead, including calling opposition to Zionism and Israeli crimes anti-Semitism, and criminalizing them at a time the global BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement is gaining traction in the wake of Operation Cast Lead and 42 years of military occupation.

Its web site asks: "What is the new anti-semitism," saying:
"Anti-semitism is an age-old phenomenon, yet it is always re-invented and manifested in different ways. (my note here: They are re-inventing it to fit their current needs)

For example, while accusations of blood libel are still being made against the Jewish people, instead they are being directed against the State of Israel, such that anti-Zionism is being used as a cover for anti-semitism."

If so, government repression will follow with harsh police state measures because when powerful people fear losing what's taken them decades to achieve, they'll do anything to defend it, including criminalizing protected speech, dissent, and whatever threatens their privilege or important allies, none more valued than Israel. US press freedom improves; Israel, Iran worse-survey

The United States came in just behind Britain on the press freedom index of 175 countries, while China was at No. 168. Afghanistan No. 149 and Iraq at No. 145.

European countries hold the top 13 spots, led by Denmark, Finland, Ireland, (Up da Irish!) Norway and Sweden. France fell eight spots to No. 43, Slovakia dropped 37 places to No. 44 and Italy fell five spots to No. 49.

The group also drew attention to Israel, which fell 47 places to No. 93, losing its place as the top country for press freedom in the region and falling behind Kuwait at No. 60, Lebanon at No. 61 and the United Arab Emirates at No. 86

Israel has begun to use the same methods internally as it does outside its own territory," said Reporters Without Borders, adding that journalists had been arrested and imprisoned and that military censorship also posed a threat.

But as a result of actions during Israel's war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip in December and January, Reporters Without Borders ranked the country at No. 150 for its "extraterritorial actions."

"The toll of the war was very heavy. Around 20 journalists in the Gaza Strip were injured by the Israeli military forces and three were killed while covering the offensive," it said.

The ranking was compiled from hundreds of questionnaires completed by journalists and media experts around the world and reflecting press freedom violations that took place between Sept. 1, 2008 and Aug. 31, 2009. The exact number of questionnaires completed was not immediately available. source

ARRESTED & CONVICTED ~FREE SPEECH GONE

How many of us in December and January watched in sheer and utter horror at the IDF murdering innocent civilians in the Gaza Genocide? How many of us screamed expletives at the television when viewing the deaths and holocaust in action? Well get ready and start packing your overnight bag. Because they are coming for us all. Rowan Laxton, 48, head of the South Asia desk of the Foreign Office, was watching a television report about the death of a farmer killed by Israeli bombs when he exclaimed: 'F****** Israelis, f****** Jews'.

Fellow gym members Gideon Falter and William Lemaine,(Zionists) who were on a lower floor using weights, overhead Laxton and complained to staff at the gym.

Laxton, whose salary after tax is £3,000 a month, was fined at the City of Westminster Magistrates' Court after District Judge Howard Riddle found him guilty of racially aggravated harassment. He had denied the charge.

He was also ordered to pay £500 prosecution costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
In a written judgement, Judge Riddle said Laxton had been under stress on the day, and may have been oblivious to others around him.

He said: 'This was not a legitimate protest - it was an emotional reaction.

'It is hard to imagine the circumstances when saying "f****** Jews' in a gym used by other people, and overheard by two strangers 20 feet away, could be considered reasonable.'

Speaking outside the court, Mr Knowles said: 'Mr Laxton is very disappointed by the outcome of today, and he will be considering his next steps with his legal team.'
