CYBER WAR FARE UPDATE

I wrote about this just yesterday, a Mossad agent, a Janes Publishing Group Representative AKA British MI5, and an American CIA agent, discussing the use of Cyber War Fare on Iran's nuclear facilities you can read my post here. Today Presstv is reporting much the same here, minus the links to the three agents:

Israeli intelligence services are trying to sabotage Iran's military and nuclear programs through tainted equipment and cyber attacks, a recent report says.

Israeli officials, weary of Iran's achievements in the nuclear field, have turned to cyber attacks to halt the country's development, Israeli sources told Reuters on Tuesday.

Another method of sabotage mentioned in the report was the use of malware -- a commonly used abbreviation for 'malicious software' -- to "corrupt, commandeer or crash the controls of sensitive sites like uranium enrichment plants".

As Iran's nuclear assets would probably be isolated from outside computers, Israeli agents would have to conceal the malware in software used by the Iranians or discreetly plant it on portable hardware brought in, unknowingly, by technicians.

Last year, Iran arrested 45-year-old Ali Ashtari on charges of relaying sensitive information on military, defense and research centers to intelligence officers working for the infamous Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad.

In a video recorded and later broadcast by IRIB, Ashtari confessed that Mossad had paid him $50,000 to buy internet cables and satellite phones and then sell them on to 'special customers' in the hope of enabling Israel to spy on their communications.

Israeli 'handlers,' whom Ashtari said he met in Thailand, Turkey and Switzerland, allegedly wanted him "to sell these terminals in Iran to special customers so they could hack into this equipment".

Tesco criticised for Israeli goods boycott hotline

Tesco has come under fire from the pro-Israel lobby after setting up a customer helpline option for people to complain about it stocking Israeli products.

A recorded message told callers ringing its general customer services number: "If you are ringing regarding Israeli goods, please press one."

The supermarket said it set up the line, which is no longer available, in anticipation of a high level of calls after the Palestine Solidarity Campaign called for a boycott of Israeli goods and urged its supporters to phone Tesco and Waitrose on 30 March about their stance on selling Israeli and Israeli settlement produce. Tesco insisted it had not meant to cause offence and said it apologised if any had been taken.

Anyone choosing the option, which was designed so customers with other queries would not find the line clogged, would have been put through to specially briefed call centre staff, the chain said.

Jonathan Hoffman, the Zionist Federation co-vice-chair, said Israel had been made a scapegoat, the Jewish Chronicle reported. "The risk is that supermarkets will say it's too much of a problem to stock Israeli goods," he told the newspaper.

(God I hope so, stop selling Israeli goods!!!)

A Tesco spokesman said: "We were made aware that a campaign group had asked supporters of its specific cause to call supermarkets. In order that any caller could be directed to an appropriate customer services operator, a call option was added to the usual menu.

"Our only aim was to be helpful, and if we have caused anybody offence unintentionally, we apologise."

British to Pay £60,000 in Damages to Arrested Abused Muslim

British to pay out £60.000 to arrested Muslim man police abused. Good! Wouldn’t you think people would learn after Abu Ghraib? Evidently not………..

£60,000 awarded to terror suspect
The Metropolitan Police have agreed to pay £60,000 damages to a man arrested during an anti-terror raid.
The High Court heard that Babar Ahmad was subjected to "serious gratuitous prolonged unjustified violence" and "religious abuse" after his arrest.

Mr Ahmad, a 34-year-old IT support analyst, was never charged following the dawn raid at his home in Tooting, south west London, in December 2003.

'Humiliate and debase'
Mr Justice Holroyde heard that one of the unnamed officers allegedly involved will face criminal proceedings.
Phillippa Kaufmann, counsel for Mr Ahmad, told the High Court that he had been dragged by handcuffs and held by the neck.
It was also claimed that he was forced into a kneeling Muslim prayer position and asked: "Where is your God now?"

Previously, the force had denied that Mr Ahmad had been punched, stamped on, grabbed and pulled by the testicles and repeatedly struck with the knee in the police van.
The court heard that one officer told him as he was being beaten in the police van: "You'll remember this day for the rest of your life."

Mr Ahmad was in court to hear lawyers for Met Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson agree to the pay-out.
Previously, he had followed proceedings by videolink from Long Lartin prison, Worcestershire.

22/02/09 How Low Can Israel Go?

Yesterday I asked the question’ “What do BLOGGER, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, and WIKIPEDIA have in common?” And then went on to explain about Israel’s worldwide online censoring units GIYUS and JIDF. Today I pose a new question; “What do Los Angeles, Netherlands, Mexico, Britain, Sweden, Finland, France and Norway all have in common?” Well, I’ll tell you, they are all targets of Israel’s online propaganda war. It would appear that Israel is none too pleased with the millions of people in those above mentioned locations, which came out in protest of Israel’s slaughter in Gaza. Any criticism of Israel comes with an added feature. Your country or state will join the ever growing list of places they focus their “hasbara” on. Yes, you guessed it, they have yet another “distraction” technique. Anything to take your minds off the Israeli War Crimes in Gaza, the 62 UN resolutions they have against them, the international laws broken, the use of DIME and Phosphorous missiles on civilians, all of that.

This new “technique” consists of creating a blog about that country or place, and then talking up all the bad points, or bad news about it. Except in the case of Los Angeles, where Israel does not target the entire USA, only Los Angeles. So, from my perspective, LA must be doing some real good work!! Keep it up guys!!

If These "bloggers" hate the countries where they live, perhaps they should move back to Israel? Ah, but I digress, Here are the links to their blogs so far, notice they are all on Blogger. I would encourage anyone outraged about Israel’s attempts to censor (see my blog on this) to make a blog of their own to counter these online thugs and evil doers who attempt to “distract” people from the VERY real issues of illegal use of weapons on civilians and the targeting of innocent women and children. Never take your eye off the ball, no matter how hard these propagandists try to distract you. It is only when they succeed that they can win. Stay focused and keep writing and reporting.
