When will the Palestinian people demand an end to Abbas' activities, working with, and collaborating with Israel on Palestinian soil. And let us not forget this is the "man" who will "negotiate" with Israel for some "deal" for the Palestinian people, sure.....

RAMALLAH, West Bank: Israel has exposed the extent of its crackdown on resistance in an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court on April 29, claiming that the Shin Bet intelligence agency has been conducting surveillance on ISM activist and Australian citizen Bridget Chappell in Area A of the West Bank.

The affidavit claims that her arrest and continuing surveillance of her movements is justified on account of various Israeli military orders, highlighting its overall authority in its implementation of apartheid in the Occupied Territories and its total disregard for the sovereignty of the Palestinian Authority and the Oslo Accords.

“My arrest from Ramallah in February and the Shin Bet’s new claim that I am under surveillance in Area A of the West Bank serves to further abolish the myth of Palestinian control in the West Bank,” says Chappell. “It’s clear that Israel is the authority in the Territories and that this is apartheid. more here

ABBAS IS SUPERMAN *AND* HAS NO SHAME
Abbas is suffering some sort of withdrawal symptoms as he falls from grace. Once a supporter of Palestinian rights and sovereignty, he's now nothing more than a propped up puppet who fully colludes with Israel and the US in order to secure his dictatorship. See what money and power can do if you don't stick to your core principals? Unable to deal with his dwindling importance, he's constantly in the news blabbing to anyone who will listen, about how "great" he is. Why, he just said today that he "single-handedly" saved Israel from a 3rd Intifada. Wowzer! He's like Superman. Albeit, in his own deluded mind.

He goes on to say that he will NEVER allow the Palestinian people another intifada, no matter what Israel does or what Israel takes, and here's the punchline "As long as he stays in office." Now there's a big fat message to the Americans and Israel, keep me here and I'll do anything you want.. So hand over East Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock, the Al Aqsa Mosque, the rest of the West Bank and Gaza. It's all "up for grabs" because Abbas has effectively told Israel and the US that they can have anything they want. No need for negotiations, no need for peace deal, no need for a Palestinian state because Abbas says Israel can have it all. The problem for Abbas is that when you start negotiations from a point of already having given away the farm, the cattle AND the sheep, you have no where to go, you're already at the bottom. And he's definitely at rock bottom already.

Abbas vows to curb any Palestinian Intifada

Acting Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas says he prevented a third intifada from breaking out during Israel's deadly offensive against the Gaza Strip in January.

In an interview with New York's Wall Street Journal published on Tuesday, Abbas emphasized that he would not allow another uprising to take place as long as he stays in office.

"I will not allow a new intifada. As long as I'm in office, I will not allow anybody to start a new intifada. Never never."

Abbas' popularity has dipped meaningfully following senior Israeli military officials revealing the Fatah-led Palestinian Authority had called Israel to eliminate the rival Hamas and supported Tel Aviv forces with intelligence.

The UK daily Guardian last Thursday quoted Western officials as saying that Palestinian security agents have been torturing supporters of the Hamas movement in their custody in the West Bank in cooperation with the US Central Intelligence Agency. link

Mahmoud Abbas is looking more and more like some caricature recently, he’s lost all his mojo, his hoodoo, his magic, along with ALL his credibility. What with years of corruption and cozying up to the enemy Israel, offering more and more Palestinian land and rights for nothing in return.Turning Palestine into a large piece of Israeli Swiss Cheese. But all that is yesterday’s news, because he’s now attempting to create a new persona as the great “International Speaker” modeling himself after people like Mandela, Bill Clinton, and yes, even Obama, albeit a cheaper version, by charging his own exiled people $27.00 to listen to him. Yes, he is a “Pimp and Gangsta” two examples:

First he travels to Brazil and is greeted with “much love” by the Zionist state governor, who, in turn invites Abbas to a cozy dinner where they can talk about old times.

link Palestinian lawmaker Dr. Atef Odwan strongly denounced the PA for demanding the Palestinian refugees in Brazil to pay $27 each if they wanted to attend Abbas’s meeting with them during his visit to that country.

Dr. Odwan said that such attitude proved that Abbas is not worthy of being a president or even a Palestinian politician, describing his visit as shameful and sad.

Abbas AGAIN Grabs At Straws

Yesterday it was all the fault of HAMAS. So said the traitor Abbas. But now today he says this:

“Abbas said in his speech that he was fully responsible for the decision, that someone advised him to make it and that the advice was wrong;

And my question is, is this a man who should be involved in negotiations with Israel for the future of Palestine? If he is incapable of realising ahead of time that this decision was wrong? Is he the Palestinian President or not? A man who could even consider this from his so called "aides" is in no condtion to represetnt he Palestinian people. Because he is so disconnected that he failed to even understand his own people. Time for him to go. More:

Oh, you have to love this. Children in Gaza have held a trail against Abbas and have convicted him of "high treason" and handed down a sentance of life in prison. Love it:

Children in Gaza held a public trial for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday in which they sentenced him to life in prison over his refusal to demand a debate on a United Nations report saying Israel committed war crimes during Operation Cast Lead.

The Palestinian children's parliament determined during the trial that Abbas was not worthy of his position, and the 'prosecutor' accused him of high treason.

Abbas was represented by a man who wore a picture of the leader on his face. He defended himself by saying, "Our need for new frequencies for my children's cell phone companies and Israeli and American pressure brought me to my decision. The decision was not ours because we are not represented at the council. Those who made the request were Pakistan and the Arab nations."

After he had made this statement, a 'Palestinian representative in the UN' intervened and said that seconds before the vote Saeb Erekat asked him to relay an official message from Abbas requesting the vote be delayed.

"I was stunned so I asked for this in writing and this is a picture I of the fax I received from the Mukataa in Ramallah. I won't be a scapegoat," said the mock-representative

Haaretz said Netanyahu would either finally follow through on his binding agreement to give the emerging Palestinian cellular telecom company Wataniya the band width it was promised last year so it can begin operations, or stop denying the Palestinian Authority permission to build a housing development on Israeli-occupied land near Ramallah.

The decision on which of the rumored “goodwill packages,” (PAY OFF PACKAGE) as they were termed by Israeli media, will go forward could be announced during Netanyahu’s Friday meeting with US Special Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell. Would YOU Trust Palestine's Future To THIS Man?

This is farcical. President Abbas(I mean Israeli Agent US controlled Abbas)
I now "blaming" his "Aides" for "telling him to withdraw support for the Goldstone Report" Seriously........Kinda makes ya wonder doesn't it now? Either Abbas is so stupid that he does whatever he's told, and he is "surrounded" with fellow Israeli Agents who advised him to sell out Palestine, to which his reply was "sure, no problem!" Or, he acted on his own, told the Palestinian representative to the UN to drop the support and is now attempting to save his sorry arse from his own people.

Either way, this "man" cannot be trusted to be in ANY position what so ever to take part i ANY negotiations regarding the future of Palestine OR its people. He has NO mandate for those actions any longer. Therefore he must be removed and replaced immediately by persons who are loyal to the Palestinian people and nation and who will carry out their duties in the best interest of freedom for Palestine. I doubt you could find one Palestinian who would trade their freedom for a cellular network to improve phone service. That's like saying the Slaves in America would have been happy enough to live in a nice house in trade for their freedom.

Abbas blames aides for motion's removal

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is considering firing a number of his top aides who advised him to withdraw a motion to the UN Human Rights Council regarding the findings of the commission of inquiry led by Justice Richard Goldstone into Operation Cast Lead. source

Abbas May No Longer BE Palestinian

I love this, what a great idea! Strip him of his Palestinian Nationality and send him to Israel or America where he can live in closer proximity to his bosses.

GAZA, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- A senior Hamas leader on Monday called for taking the Palestinian nationality off President Mahmoud Abbas over the Palestinian National Authority's (PNA) request to postpone voting on a Gaza war report at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

"I call on the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) to work hard on procedures to strip Mahmoud Abbas and everyone who joined him in this crime off the Palestinian nationality," Mahmoud Zahar, a member of Hamas politburo, said during a special session for the Hamas-dominated PLC in Gaza city.

Zahar also demanded an investigation into the PNA's role in the UNHRC's decision to postpone the voting on a UN fact-finding mission into Israel's December-January offensive against the Gaza Strip to March next year.

"In this way, we can punish everyone committing crimes against our people," he added.

On Sunday, Abbas opened an investigation into the matter, but Hamas said his step "was aimed at throwing dust in the eyes of the people and a despair attempt to evade his direct responsibility in the postponement."source

Abbas Impersonates the IDF

Abbas has learned much from Israel. Unfortunately he's not learned anything of value to Palestinians. Instead of representing the country of Palestine, working towards unity, having fair elections, being inclusive, respecting the vote, nope, none of these things, but instead he's learned how to kidnap, threaten and intimidate his political rivals. You know the ones who actually got the majority of the vote, including in the West Bank? This from the Elected Majority Government, exiled to Gaza:

Security forces loyal to former PA chief Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday kidnapped six Palestinians in Tulkarem, Nablus and Al-Khalil districts including the father of a wanted youth as a hostage until his son gives himself up.

Local sources in Tulkarem said that those militias stormed the home of Adnan Samara, who was formerly held in Zionist occupation jails, and abducted his father Tayseer and his brother Nasr to pressure Adnan into giving himself up.

Abbas's militias rounded a shopkeeper in downtown Tulkarem after wreaking havoc in his shop, sources said, adding that Abdul Fattah Al-Qaddoumi was arrested by those forces before and spent seven months in the preventive security jails.

In Nablus, Abbas's forces detained Fadel Al-Beitawi, the son of MP Hamed Al-Beitawi, who is kidnapped for the second time by those militias.

Three other Palestinians, including an ex-prisoner in occupation jails, were kidnapped at the hands of those militias in Al-Khalil. link
