Israel's Right to Exist

Why does Israel have a right to exist, but Palestine doesn't?

This is the question of our time.

For sixty years Israelis have been stealing Palestine from Palestinians. There are maps available on the Internet and in Israeli publications showing the shrinkage over time of what was once Palestine into what Palestine is today--a small number of unconnected ghettos or bantustans.

Palestine became "the occupied territory" from which Palestinians were ejected and Israeli settlements built for "settlers." Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are full of refugee camps in which Palestinians driven off their lands by Israeli force have been living for decades.

Driving people off their land is strictly illegal under international law, but Israel has been getting away with it for decades.

Gaza is a concentration camp of 1.5 million Palestinians who were driven from their homes and villages and collected in the Gaza Ghetto.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency was created 60 years ago in 1949 to administer refugee camps for Palestinians driven from their lands by Israel. As of 2002, the registered Palestinian refugee population was 3.9 million.

Caterpillar Tractor makes a special bulldozer for Israel that is designed to knock down Palestinian homes and to uproot their orchards. In 2003 an American protester, Rachel Corrie, stood in front of one of these Caterpillars and was run over and crushed.

Nothing happened. The Israelis can kill whomever they want whenever they want.

They have been doing so for 60 years, and they show no sign of stopping.

Currently they are murdering women and children in the ghetto that they have created for Palestinians in Gaza. The entire world knows this. The Red Cross protests it. But the Israelis brazenly claim that they are killing "Hamas terrorists who are a threat to Israel's existence."

The American media knows that this is a lie, but does not say so.

Israel has been able to slowly exterminate a people for sixty years without provoking sufficient outrage to stop it.

The United States, "Christian America," has been Israel's greatest enabler in its long-term murder of the Palestinian people. Millions of "evangelical Christians" endorse Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestine.

The rest of the world condemns the Israeli military attack on the Gaza Ghetto. Last week the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution requiring a ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli SS from Gaza.

The United States abstained.

While the rest of the world condemns Israel's inhumanity, the US Congress--I should say the US Knesset--rushed to endorse the Israeli slaughter of the Palestinians in Gaza.

The US Senate endorsed Israel's massacre of Palestinians with a vote of 100-0.

The US House of Representatives voted 430-5 to endorse Israel's massacre of Palestinians.

The resolutions endorsed by 100% of the US Senate and 99% of the House were written by AIPAC, as were the speeches praising Israel for its inhumanity.

The US Congress was proud to show that it is Israel's puppet even when it comes to murdering women and children.

The President of the United States was proud to block effective action by the UN Security Council by ordering the Secretary of State to abstain.

Be a Proud American. Swagger and strut. Pretend that you are not besmirched by the shame that your government has heaped upon you. Take refuge in your ignorance, fostered by 60 years of Israeli lies, that the murder of Palestinians and the theft of their lands is "Israel's right of self-defense."

Israel Spies on the United Nations

EXPOSEDAnd, sadly this is quite true, all kidding aside here. They are receiving information before it is available to be released. This means either there is an Israeli spy in the United Nations investigations committees, or Lieberman's new hat is working Don’t believe me? Keep reading and pay attention to the dates..

I found this article (below) written (May 5th) by a pro-Israeli journalist living in Israel. What’s so special about that you may ask? Well, she is bragging (in a VERY long winded and overly boring article praising Israel) about how amazing Israel’s intelligence and media are at having things leaked. You see, Israel was able to actually issue a response to the new damning UN report, BEFORE it was actually released . In fact, she goes on to say how Peres was to have had a “harsh talk” with Ban Ki Moon about said report, well before its release. Ensuring he would remove some parts of the report.

If you don’t believe my tin foil hat theory, then clearly Israel has spies within the UN committee carrying out the investigations against Israel’s crimes in Gaza. And that my friends is serious. Because, if this is true, then it will be even harder to hold the murdering scum accountable for their illegal actions. Source below:

Israel criticizes UN report -- before it is released -- on IDF strikes that hit UN in Gaza
Marian Houk
May 05, 2009

In an astonishing illustration of the matrix of the Israeli government, the Israeli media, the role of leaking, and attempts to influence international policy and opinion, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) sent out an email at 11:22 this morning [Jerusalem time] denouncing a UN report that has not yet been released. The MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) also partially reveals the contents of a not-yet-sent letter that the UN Secretary-General has addressed to the UN Security Council.

The MFA communique states that "UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will today (Tuesday, 5 May 2009) send to the UN Security Council [in the "letter", apparently] his response to the summary of the report of the internal inspection committee, which he previously formed. The committee examined the events in which nine UN installations were damaged during Operation Cast Lead".

In this letter, according to the statement from Israel's MFA, "Secretary General Ban criticizes the firing of Kassam rockets at Israeli towns, and praises the coordination between the Israel Defence Force (IDF) and the UN during Operation Cast Lead".

This may come as a surprise to some in the UN.

[Tuesday] morning. Peres is expected to have held a harsh talk last night with the secretary general and to demand of him to delay publication. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman also called the UN secretary general from Rome and had a harsh talk with him. As far as is known, the secretary general made it clear that it was not possible to change the content of the report or to delay publication. The pressure is therefore focusing now on having the secretary general try to minimize the damage in the remarks he will make at the press conference that he is expected to hold after publication". source

US anti-terror controls delayed swine flu response

Scary report from the Financial Times on the Swine flu. I now appears that a huge delay in identifying the disease had taken place, due to restrictions the USA put into place after 9-11.
US anti-terror controls delayed swine flu response

Tough US import controls on biological materials, introduced after the September 11 2001 attacks, hindered the rapid identification of the H1N1 virus because samples from infected Mexican patients had to be sent to Canada for analysis instead of the US.

Health officials said the detour highlighted how bureaucratic attempts to protect the US from terrorist attacks had backfired. Confirmation of the decision, which delayed the international response to the outbreak, added to reports of hurdles to cross-border co-operation in the fight against the latest infectious disease, health officials said

Hey Israel~Show us your Nukes!

Israel is playing hide and seek with its nukes.

Wow, if I were a betting man, I’d bet that Israel has been breaking the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty for many years. They have an estimated 80 to 200 nuclear warheads so the USA claims, but I'd bet it’s many more than that! They most likely have enough nukes to take the world out 100 times over. I hope that Obama begins the process he has claimed he would do, and remove ALL nukes, from everyone, including and beginning with Israel. And why is it that the focus is on Iran anyway, it is Israel who had the long standing pattern of attacking its neighbours AND refusing to adhere to UN resolutions, including the nuclear Non-Proliferation.Think Iraq for a moment, the US invaded it looking for supposedly "hidden weapons of mass destruction" and found none, yet we KNOW Israel has them but hides them, but that's "ok" Oh the Irony............

The US claims it seeks universal nuclear adherence to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in remarks that specify the sole Mideast possessor of nukes -- Israel.

US Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller told the 189 NPT signatories in a meeting on Tuesday that Washington wants the countries that have so far shunned the UN nuclear watchdog to join the pact against nukes.

"Universal adherence to the NPT itself, including by India, Israel, Pakistan and North Korea ... remains a fundamental objective of the United States," he claimed.

The top US arms control negotiator nevertheless declined to say whether Washington would in any way press Tel Aviv to join the treaty.

"The administration of President Barack Obama was encouraging all holdouts to join the treaty," Gottemoeller said.

Israel, which unleashed torrents of criticism against itself with its use of depleted uranium, white phosphorus and other unconventional arms in its latest war on the Gaza Strip, has been recently classified by the US military as "a nuclear power".

Under its policy of 'strategic ambiguity', Israel has neither admitted nor denied possessing nuclear weapons. The US has nonetheless shielded Israel -- which has an estimated 80 to 200 nuclear warheads -- from condemnation in the past 40 years.

While Washington has never pressured Israel to sign the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, it has lately been issuing calls for a "nuclear-free Middle East" -- a region in which Israel is the only nuclear power.

The so-called "don't ask, don't tell" deal commits both the US and Israel never to acknowledge information pertinent to Israeli nukes in public.

In 1986, Israeli nuclear scientist Mordecai Vanunu disclosed in the Sunday Times of London photos and the first insider account of Israel's primary nuclear facility in Dimona.

The revelation cost Vanunu 18 years in jail over treason charges and a travel ban that bars him from leaving Israel. source
Don't ask, Don't tell.............UPDATE, surprise, while I was making this post, Israel has answered Obama's call. Can you guess what their answer is? Oh, C'mon now, take a wee guess, you KNOW you wanna. Ok then, Answer below:
Israel has refused to heed a US call to join the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) -- which would require Tel Aviv to declare and relinquish its nuclear arsenal.

"This treaty has proven its ineffectiveness, it did not prevent countries like India, Pakistan and North Korea from acquiring nuclear arms," AFP cited a senior foreign ministry official as saying on condition of anonymity on Wednesday. source
No, but, if everyone joins then all the nukes can go away, including yours Isra-hell. Ah, but then you'd not have the capability to wipe out all Arabs around your little rogue state, as you are the ONLY country in the Middle East to actually HAVE Nuclear Weapons, but hey, let's not let the silly facts get in the way now, eh?

REPORT~Gaza~UN Daily Briefing

Taken from the UN daily briefing, I have removed the portions pertaining to Israel, Gaza/Palestine. Additionally, I have included any questions and answers after the briefing points.

** Gaza -- Human Rights Council

And on Gaza, many of you have been asking for updates on the independent fact-finding mission, which the Human Rights Council is setting up to investigate international human rights and humanitarian law violations related to the recent conflict there.

The four-member fact-finding team is in Geneva this week to plan its work before heading to the region. While in Geneva, the members plan to hold a wide range of discussions, including with representatives of the concerned parties, Israel and Palestine; other Member States; civil society; and UN agencies. This is the first time the members are meeting collectively, face to face, since they were appointed in early April by the President of the Human Rights Council.

You’ll recall that the team is being led by Richard Goldstone, former Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.

We don’t have further details on the upcoming mission yet, but our colleagues in Geneva are trying to organize a press encounter for the team towards the end of the week there in Geneva.

**Questions and Answers

Question: When does the Secretary-General plan to brief the Security Council on the report of the Gaza Board of Inquiry?

Deputy Spokesperson: I have nothing further on that yet. As soon as I have an update, I will let you know.

Question: The meeting with the Human Rights Council this week, do we have a list of any of the confirmed people, NGOs, members of Government that they will be meeting with when they undertake their mission to Gaza?

Deputy Spokesperson: I just read you an update on their meetings there and for further details I think you probably need to contact them directly. But, they are just starting this week and towards the end of the week they will have a press briefing there. So you’ll probably get a readout of all the contacts that they’ve had throughout the week.

Question: [Inaudible] my question. I heard over the weekend that there hasn’t been the possibility of rebuilding or dealing with the devastation in Gaza and what was pledged because of the closure of the border crossings. I wonder if there is any thought being given to doing an airlift, or doing something, because I wondered if there is precedence to having such devastation and then leaving it the way this is being left. So, is there anything going on with regard to the Secretary-General, with regard to dealing with figuring out some way to deal with this problem?

Deputy Spokesperson: I don’t have anything on any proposal for an airlift. I think these questions have been posed to John Ging in the past, he has answered them. All I can tell you is the repeated reports that we give you about the situation on the ground, in which we do flag the same concerns that you do, and that our agency partners are doing everything they can on the ground to help the people. And on the political front, the Secretary-General and others are fully engaged to try to bring an end to the humanitarian suffering on the ground.

Question: When the Security Council takes this up, will there be some effort by the Secretary-General to bring this to the Security Council debate on the issue?

Deputy Spokesperson: The Secretary-General’s envoys, when they brief the Security Council on the Middle East, every time they brief the Council, vast portions of the briefing have focused on the humanitarian situation on the ground and ways forward and to try to alleviate their plight. So, I think that effort will continue. source

ISRAELI AGENTS TARGET OBAMA

Israel does not like having to make peace with Palestine, so they call on AIPAC the Israeli Mafia to "get to work" on the US Congressmen and Congresswomen that Israel owns. AIPAC and their head slaves Steny Hoyer, the Democratic majority leader in the House of Representatives, and Eric Cantor, the Republican whip are RIGHT NOW lobbying (translation=buying and bribing and threatening) Congress to sign a letter asking Obama to allow Israel to control any peace Negotiations, NOT the United States or the President of the United States. Israel and AIPAC owns you AND your country. Now,Here is your new Israeli approved "Pledge of Allegiance" Repeat after me:

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of Israel, and to the dictatorship for which it stands: One nation, indivisible, under the Torah, with liberty and justice for none"
US pro-Israeli group attempts to stop shift in White House Middle East policy-Aipac urges Congress members to sign letter to Barack Obama calling for Israel to set pace of negotiations with Palestinians

US congressional leaders and the most powerful pro-Israel lobby group in the US are attempting to forestall a significant shift in the White House's Middle East policy.

The move comes amid growing signs that the US president, Barack Obama, intends to press for urgent efforts to be made towards the creation of a Palestinian state.
(No, NO you can't make us have peace with those filthy Arabs, Israel will control you through using their Jewish/Owned/Bribed/Threatened congressmen and women.)
The Israeli prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, is visiting Washington later this month amid growing expectations that Obama is preparing to take a tougher line over Israel's reluctance to actively seek a two-state solution to its conflict with the Palestinians.
(Israel does not WANT a two state solution, it WANTS to continue to ethnically cleanse the entire region of all Palestinians and have one big fat Jewish only racist rogue state, that is what it wants!)
It will be the first time that Netanyahu and Obama have met since both were elected.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (Aipac) this week sent hundreds of lobbyists to urge members of Congress to sign a letter to Obama.
(Did you GET THAT, they sent "hundreds" of Israeli AIPAC spies to bribe, arm twist and threaten Congress)
The letter, written by two House of Representatives leaders(who work for AIPAC and Israel) calls for Israel to be allowed to set the pace of negotiations.

It says the US "must be both a trusted mediator and devoted friend of Israel".

Aipac's move to put pressure on members of Congress came at the end of its annual conference in Washington this week.

Some of the loudest applause at the gathering came in response to calls for military attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities – something Netanyahu has attempted to portray as a more urgent issue than the Palestinian question.

Last week, General James Jones, Obama's national security adviser, told a European foreign minister that the new administration would be "forceful" with Israel, according to a classified Israeli memo reported by the Ha'aretz newspaper.

Jones was quoted as saying that Obama believes Washington, the EU and moderate Arab states must define "a satisfactory endgame solution".
(Exactly what Israel does not want, it does not want an "endgame" because it wants to keep taking billions off Americans. If Obama makes peace, the money dries up!)
"The new administration will convince Israel to compromise on the Palestinian question," he was quoted as saying. "We will not push Israel under the wheels of a bus, but we will be more forceful toward Israel than we have been under Bush."

During his election campaign, Obama alarmed Israel's hardline supporters by saying he regarded the lack of a resolution to the conflict as a "constant sore" that "infect[s] all of our foreign policy".

But Aipac has moved to counter any new White House initiative by trying to mobilise Congress against it through the letter, written by two people seen as extremely close to the lobby group – Steny Hoyer, the Democratic majority leader in the House of Representatives, and Eric Cantor, the Republican whip. The two men addressed an Aipac banquet attended by more than half the members of Congress on Monday, each standing in turn at a "roll call" of support for Israel.

On the face of it, the letter is a call for a peace, but its specifics urge Obama to maintain years of US policy that has tacitly accepted Israeli stalling of peace negotiations.

The letter says that "the best way to achieve future success between Israelis and Palestinians will be by adhering to basic principles that have undergirded our policy".

These include "acceptance that the parties themselves must negotiate the details of any agreement" as well as demanding that the Palestinians first "build the institutions necessary for a viable state" before gaining independence.
(And the Palestinains do this whilst under seige, starving in an open air prison. NO, only free men can negotiate.)
Jeremy Ben-Ami, the leader of J-street, a pro-Israel lobby group that favours the swift establishment of a Palestinian state, said that, while Aipac claims it supports a two-state solution, the letter is an attempt to prevent the White House from putting pressure on Israel to make that happen.

"They don't come right out and say we don't want Israel to make concessions, we don't want Israel to leave the West Bank," he said.

"They'll say, 'Of course we believe there should be peace'. But then they'll do what this letter does. "They'll say, 'When the Israeli government decides it is ready to have a two-state solution, then there'll be a two-state solution'."

Aipac wields considerable influence in the US Congress. Its critics say that what amounts to bullying pressure tactics has narrowed the room for debate about Israel, and claim the group has played a leading role in unseating some members of Congress who were critical of the Jewish state's policies. source
After AIPAC's victory with Charles Freeman and the AIPAC spy case being dropped, and of course Jane Harman NOT being investigated, they are on a roll and empowered. Who cares about America, you will do exactly what Israel wants, or else. Now, repeat after me: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of Israel, and to the deictatorship for which it stands: One nation, indivisible, under the Torah, with liberty and justice for none"

Spain~Israeli War Crimes Trial UPDATE

Rhetorical Question: What happens when you have an honest Judge who wants to place Israel on trial for war crimes, yet the government is under control of the Zionist lobby. I have been following for the last few months, the Spanish judge that is attempting to place IDF Israeli soldiers on trial for war crimes dating from 2002 when they murdered 15. Since this judge has taken the case, of course the Jewish lobby in Spain has begun its threats and arm twisting tactics, as well as calling in all favors owed by members of the government of Spain. (Like they did in America recently with the AIPAC spy case that was dropped) The media has attempted to smear this judge(much like Charles Freeman), reporting the Judge only wants fame and to further his career. I say “so what” at least he has the “chutzpah” to stand up to Israeli criminals. Today two reports out, first one tells of the case up to now, the second one is quite telling, it’s a statement from the Spanish prosecutors office, they don’t want the case to go forward, sound familiar? Sleazy slimy Israel is allowed to murder at will, because they have Israeli mafia in every country, couple this with crooked Politicians bought and paid for by the Israeli lobby. This is why they are allowed to keep committing crimes.

A Spanish judge said Monday he plans to continue an investigation into a 2002 Israeli bombing that killed 15 people, including a suspected Hamas militant, in Gaza City.

Judge Fernando Andreu of Spain's National Court said while Israel's military conducted its own internal investigation into the bombing, he has seen no evidence the country's military or civilian prosecutors are looking into the matter.

"In Israel there has not been, nor is there now under way, any legal proceedings aimed at investigating the Gaza bombing," the judge wrote.

For that reason, Spain has jurisdiction to continue investigating whether the bombing was a crime against humanity, said Andreu.

Spanish law gives its courts jurisdiction beyond national borders in cases of torture or war crimes, based on a doctrine known as universal jurisdiction. If an indictment is issued, it clears the way for international arrest warrants, and — in theory, at least — extradition to Spain.

Israel's Foreign Ministry called the judge's decision "ridiculous" and groundless, while Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak said Monday he plans to ask Spain's government to intervene and prevent the investigation.

"There isn't a more ethical army than the Israel Defence Forces. I have no doubt that those who acted then to hit Shehadeh acted with a clear head and an eye locked on one target only — to protect Israeli civilians," said Barak.

Raji Sourani, director of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, hailed Andreu's decision as a "great victory."

The Spanish probe is examining the role of seven senior current or former Israeli army and security officers in the 2002 Gaza City bombing. Fifteen people, including suspected Hamas militant Salah Shehadeh, were killed when an Israeli fighter jet dropped a bomb into the densely populated area.

Israel has defended the attack as a legitimate strike against a terrorist.
The subjects of the Spanish probe include former Israeli defence minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, former Israel army chief of staff Dan Halutz and five other current or former army and security officials.link
Next the response from the State Prosecutor's Office in Spain AKA the Jewish Lobby in Spain:
Monday, May 4, 2009
State Prosecutor's Office Response to Spanish Judge Fernando Andreu's Decision to Open an Investigation against Six IDF Commanders and Senior Israeli Officials

State Prosecutor's Office Response to Spanish Judge Fernando Andreu's
Decision to Open an Investigation against Six IDF Commanders and Senior
Israeli Officials

(Communicated by the Justice Ministry Spokesman)
"We have yet to receive the decision. We regret that the Judge issued his
decision in contravention of the clear position of the Spanish prosecutor.
We believe that the decision will be rescinded following an appeal by the
prosecutor. The filing of a suit in Spain by the Palestinian Center for
Human Rights is a cynical move and an attempt to exploit the Spanish
judicial system in order to advance a political agenda against Israel. We
are convinced that the Spanish Government and judicial system will do their
utmost so that this does not succeed." link
For background on this you can read my posts HERE about the case, and HERE about the Israeli lawyers trying to get the case dropped, now today we see the above report from the State Prosecutor's Office. Easy to see what is taking place here. Israel doing what it does best, controlling other countries. And in other news from Spain today, the Israeli Ambassador to Spain was called a "Jew Dog" after a football game:
Israel's ambassador to Spain, Rafi Shotz said the three perpetrators shouted slurs like "Jewish dog" and "dirty Jew" until they were driven off by Spanish police escorting Shotz. link
I do not condone anti-semitism,but people in the world are angry at Israel and are venting that anger. Additionally, I'm quite sure that all those dead innocent Palestinian women and children would rather be alive and called "Muslim dog" or "dirty Muslim", than be dead from Israeli murderers. Names don't kill, DIME missiles and white phosphorous DO kill. This is why you are hated now, Israel, you brought this on yourself with your actions in Gaza. So "deal" with it

FINALLY ISRAEL EXPLAINS IT ALL

Israel once again finds much fault in the new UN report condemning Israel’s slaughter of UN compounds, schools, UN workers, refugees and children. Like a Ghost Hunter/TAPS residual haunting that repeats itself over and over again. Israel is yet again pointing their truth finding divining rod fingers (pictured below) at HAMAS, the REAL culprits.Israel claims the entire escapade is the fault of none other than HAMAS. WARNING Israeli Logic ahead: You see, it was HAMAS’ tanks, drones and US supplied F-16’s with bunker busters, DIME missiles and white phosphorous bombs that caused the destruction and deaths in Gaza. Israel only had a few light rifles and home made rockets akin to large fireworks, so they couldn’t have caused all the deaths and damage. Thanks for clearing that up for us stupid people who thought we saw Israel killing Palestinians. Article below, followed by more accusations from Israel against HAMAS.
A new UN report that confirms Israel's "gross negligence and recklessness" in its Christmas war on the Gaza Strip has raised hackles in Tel Aviv.

A four-member inquiry board appointed by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday affirmed that the Israeli army had failed to protect UN personnel and civilians that had taken shelter in UN buildings.

A 184-page report, which has not been entirely published due to Ban's objection, found Tel Aviv responsible "for the deaths and injuries that occurred within the United Nations premises and the physical damage that was done to United Nations' premises.”

In a statement, the displeased Israeli Foreign Ministry branded the report as "unbalanced, biased and oblivious to the facts."

"Israel rejects the criticism in the committee's summary report and determines that in both spirit and language the report is tendentious, patently biased and ignores the facts presented to the committee," reads the statement.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak was also quick to dismiss the findings, once again blaming Hamas for the casualties of the December-January operation against the strip.source
Israel also notes, that HAMAS is responsible for Swine Flu, Global Warming, Increased Hurricanes and Cyclones, worldwide obesity, crop circles AND crop failures, the AIG and US financial meltdown (Even though Bernie Madoff was Jewish, Israel claims a HAMAS insider absconded with all Bernie’s stolen money, it has been reported in an Israeli Newspaper that the money was hidden in a Gaza tunnel and has since been destroyed during Operation Cast Lead) From all of this I am only left to assume that HAMAS is also responsible for the filling that fell out of my tooth this morning. I shall immediately contact Ismail Haniya the HAMAS Prime Minister for reimbursement of said filling and also ask for compensation for pain and suffering.

Wanna buy some swamp land?

MORE TORTURE Trouble for Israel

Well, well, this reminds me of Iraq, perhaps the Bush Administration learned this little trick from Israel. Hide the torture chambers, Shhhhhhhhhh, mums the word.......
Not so fast, the UN wants to see them.
The United Nations anti-torture committee has demanded access to an Israeli secret prison where torture is allegedly being practiced.

The UN Committee Against Torture in Geneva prepared a document on Israel's record on torture on Tuesday and called on Tel Aviv to release information on the alleged "Facility 1391" which is situated in an "undetermined location within Israel and which is not accessible to the International Committee of the Red Cross or detainees' lawyers or relatives."

"Allegations of torture, ill-treatment and poor detention conditions in this facility have been reported to the committee," read the document.

The committee said it had received reports according to which "Palestinian detainees are subjected by Israeli security officials to acts in violation" of the anti-torture convention, including beatings, sleep deprivations and sharp twisting of the head.

The committee is scheduled to publish a report on Tuesday's hearing on May 15.

According to reports, Palestinian detainees were kept in solitary confinement in cells that ranged from 3 to 6 square meters with no windows or access to daylight or fresh air.

Several reports from at least eight NGOs, including B'Tselem, Hamoked Center for the Defense of the Individual, Physicians for Human Rights and Amnesty International, have been received this year by the committee over Israeli violations of the UN Convention Against Torture. source

"GUILTY" Israel On Trial

Looks like Israel is about to be in a "wee spot of bother", FYI that's an Irish term for "Deep Shit" This due to their targeting of UN facilities during their genocide on Gaza. I remember quite well, watching John Ging, a fellow Irishmen, growing More and more outraged over Israel's refusal to adhere to their agreement NOT to target Ging's facilities. If you recall, Ging was actually working with an IDF contact who was given ALL coordinates of UN facilities, schools and Food/Supplies warehouses additionally, each facility was clearly marked and could be seen from above (perhaps if Israel had not used so much White Phosporous in Illegal situations, it might have seen the UN compounds and schools!!). Yet, time and time again, they were targeted. I began to think that perhaps Israel was paying Ging back for speaking out so forcefully against the Gaza Holocaust he was witnessing daily. Anyway, I knew from the resolve in Ging's face, that he would never let this go. So I am happy to see this coming to fruition. Israel needs to be held accountable for it's actions on all fronts. Just in case people have forgotten, I am including some visual reminders of Israel's handiwork on UN schools and compounds throughout this article below:

Israel intentionally fired at UN targets causing severe damage and death, A UN report investigating the destruction of UNRWA and UN properties and equipment during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip found last week.
UNWRA MAIN COMPOUND

The report, which is separate from the Human Rights Council investigation mandated by the UN Human Rights Council and is currently underway, investigated only Israel’s culpability in the destruction of UN property and resources during the war on Gaza.
UNWRA WORKER RUNS FOR SAFETY

The UN report suggested court action against Israel for the willful destruction of UN property, but did not go as far as accusing the country of war crimes.
MAIN COMPOUND AFTERMATH, TOTALLY DESTROYED

According to UN media sources Ban will omit two suggestions from the report to probe incidents of the use of white phosphorus.

Israel calls report “harsh and one sided”
WHITE PHOSPOROUS USED ON UN COMPOUND

Israeli media condemned the report for not referring to what they called “Hamas terrorist activity” in Gaza during the Israeli war, even though the report was mandated to investigate the damage to the UN buildings from Israeli weapons. No buildings were damaged by Hamas or militant fire.
UN SCHOOL WHERE 40 LOST THEIR LIVESYOUNG GIRL BEING RUSHED TO HOSPITAL FROM SCHOOLMORE BODIES OUTSIDE THE SCHOOLHERE ARE THE "TERRORISTS" ISRAEL CLAIMED WERE AT THE SCHOOL

REPORT CONTINUES BELOW:

In a meeting following the preliminary release of the report, sources said Israel would “remind the world that Hamas is a terror organization which caused the war and operated among civilian population and near UN facilities, firing thousands of rockets into Israel.” source
Isn't it funny how Israel's sick logic always attempts to "deflect" to any other situation it can grasp. HAMAS did not have, nor operate the F-16's, Drones or Tanks that destroyed UN facilities, only Israel. Not this time Israel, you are the war criminals, only you..............

USA says "OK TO SPY ON US"

Welcome to the United States of Israel

In a shocking decision (not really!! given the very sad FACT that Israel owns America) the AIPAC spies will now be free to continue to spy on America, American interests, continue to buy and blackmail members of Congress, the Senate and the White House. Yes, you heard it here, and how nice that they go free at the same time the big "lovefest" is taking place at the annual AIPAC spy, I mean AIPAC policy conference. Seriously, America wake up here, stop being a doormat for Israel. Let's see now, so far since the holocaust in Gaza, the Jewish lobby has succeeded in having removed countless university professors who dare to break from the Israeli issued propaganda, the Jewish lobby has taught your President a lesson, meaning Obama now understands that it's NOT actually the President who gets to pick his people, it's AIPAC and Israel who make those selections (Charles Freeman redux) and then there's the little Jane Harman/AIPAC/Pelosi thingie (which no doubt Israel has made clear that the US will NOT investigate Harman) And finally, the last lesson, Israel can spy on you whenever it wants, and never have to worry about being charged. They have free rein in America until the American people rise up against those they elect and tell them to start representing AMERICA and NOT Israel.
A US court has formally dropped espionage charges against two pro-Israeli lobbyists amid a scandal that had threatened to expose the extent of Israeli grip on US politics.
US District Judge T. S. Ellis on Monday dismissed all charges against former AIPAC lobbyists Steve Rosen and Keith Weissman, three days after Justice Department prosecutors announced that handling the case would require the release of top secret military intelligence and should therefore be shelved.

Rosen and Weissman were indicted in 2005 for conspiring to obtain and leak classified information regarding Iran to the Israeli government and journalists from The Washington Post and other media outlets.

Pentagon expert Larry Franklin -- who pled guilty to passing restricted military intelligence to the two indicted lobbyists -- was sentenced in April to 12 years and seven months in prison.

AIPAC, billed as the most powerful lobbying group in Washington, has strived to distance itself from the spy case to escape further controversy for the sake of its reputation.

The controversy, however, was further fueled by revelations of the involvement of California representative Jane Harman -- a longtime member of the US House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence who has access to highly classified security information.

Harman was reportedly overheard on a wiretapped phone conversation while agreeing to act on behalf of a suspected Israeli agent and persuade the Justice Department into reducing espionage charges against Rosen and Weissman.

The Israeli agent, in return, promised to smooth the way for Harman to become the next chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

According to a Congressional Quarterly report released on April 19, the FBI was poised to question Harman about the telephone call and her interactions with the suspected Israeli agent but US Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez blocked efforts to launch an investigation.

Harman, who has denied any wrongdoing, has taken the matter up with AIPAC policymakers and has tried to turn the tables by accusing the US government of illegally recording her conversation -- a move that has shifted media attention away from AIPAC involvement in the spy case, also named the Lawrence Franklin affair.

In an address to the 2009 AIPAC policy conference on Monday, she chose to focus on the wiretapping rather than her bargaining deals with the suspected Israeli spy and called herself "a warrior on behalf of our Constitution and against abuse of power."

She went on to promise the heavyweight American politicians who had come to swear allegiance to Israel that she would "not quit on this, until I am absolutely sure that this never can happen to anyone else".

Baruch Weiss, the lawyer who helped cripple the US government's case against Rosen and Weissman, says the prosecution's loss is a "great victory" for Israel's friends.

This is not the first time pro-Israeli lobbyists charged with espionage escape trial in the US.

Stephen D. Bryen, a pro-Israel activist who played a key role in forging close ties between Israel and the Pentagon, was seen passing confidential documents to an Israeli Mossad agent in a restaurant in Washington.

Michael Saba, former executive director of the influential National Association of Arab Americans, who was witness to the security breach, promptly reported the incident to the Justice Department.

"After I reported this incident to the Justice Department, FBI and Justice Department investigators gathered sufficient evidence on Dr. Bryen's activities to recommend he be brought before an investigative grand jury for espionage," Saba explained in Armageddon Network

"The case was quietly closed, however, by Philip Heymann, the assistant attorney general in charge of the Justice Department's Criminal Division, a close personal friend and associate of Dr. Bryen's attorney. Bryen was never formally charged or made to account for his actions under oath," he added. link

OUTTA THE WAY~Ethnic Cleansing in Progress

Step aside, move along now, nothing to see here, all the Palestinians are gone now, ethnic cleansing complete, all Jews, all the time now. And Israel claims to be a democracy? ROTFLMAO in what universe one wonders.........But you gotta hand it to Israel in the use of "Israeli Double Speak" no need to explain as you'll see it used to it's perfection below:

Mayor for the Israeli-run Jerusalem municipality hopes to make “Jerusalem the greenest city in Israel,” largely at the expenses of Palestinian residents.

Jerusalem municipal Mayor Nir Barkat revealed his “master plan” for the city on Monday, which includes the ominous pledge for the “Development of eastern Jerusalem,” where most of the Palestinian population lives.

Also of concern to Palestinian residents is his intention to create five new metropolitan parks, particularly given the current demolition orders on nearly 100 Palestinian homes in the Silwan neighborhood of the city to make way for the construction of green space.

Equally distressing is the issue of Israeli “Conservation and preservation of historic buildings,” since this often means the judization of Islamic or ancient historic sites.

In his explanation of “Developing Eastern Jerusalem,” Barakat said “An additional 13,550 housing units will be made available for construction for the residents of eastern Jerusalem,” which means the expansion of illegal East Jerusalem Israeli settlements. These settlements will be constructed on the land Palestinians will establish their capital city on under the Road Map and Arab Peace Initiative.

The mayor said he intended to build most of the new housing in the Palestinian A-Tur neighborhood (1,500 units), the Palestinian Beit Hanina- Shuafat neighborhoods (2,500 units), Tel Adesa (2,000 units), Jabel Mukabar (2,500 units), and the eastern Jerusalem city center (750 units). These areas house the highest number of Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem.

Barakat outlined his plans for the revitalization of tourism in Jerusalem, saying efforts would be concentrated on the Old City, again an area of high-concentration Palestinian homes.

According to reports, “The plan affixes the borders of the historical city to include the neighborhoods and buildings built until 1948,” which will annex even more Palestinian land. source
NOTE: the Israeli Mayor was asked for comments regarding the worldwide condemnation of the Ethnic Cleansing in Jerusalem,
THIS is his reply:

TORTURE~More On Israel Witholding Medical Treatment

I reported yesterday that the UN is investigating crimes of Torture against Israel. You see,Israel has been attempting to blackmail sick and injured Palestinians from receiving medical care by trying to force them to become Israeli spies or informers.

Every week I ask myself a simple question; "How low can Israel go?" and the answer? They continually outdo themselves, they are the lowest of lows and this report coupled with the murdering of hundreds of innocent women and children in Gaza confirms that Israel has no soul, they are no longer part of the human race. They exist alone in a vacuum, on a tiny patch of desert. Note the logic of Zionist Mark Regev (the one who during the genocide continually denied the use of White Phosporous as the pictures and videos were shown to the world) at the end of this article. Truly stunning logic, but only in "Bizarro Land" aka "Israel"report below:

Israel’s intelligence services are increasingly pressuring Palestinian patients from Gaza to spy and inform on other Palestinians if they want to enter Israel for medical treatment, a report released on Monday by an Israeli rights organization said.

Data and 30 testimonies collected by Physicians for Human Rights – Israel (PHR-I) and presented at the UN Committee Against Torture in Geneva, indicates a rise in the number of Palestinian patients interrogated and forced to provide information, usually at the Erez border crossing into Israel.

According to PHR-I, Israel’s General Security Service (GSS, known as Shabak) interrogated minors; photographed patients against their will; harassed, accused, cursed and intimidated patients during interrogations.

Patients that did not cooperate were returned to Gaza without receiving a permit to exit for medical treatment, the report said.

Between January 2008 and March 2009, at least 438 patients have been summoned for GSS interrogations at Erez Crossing, as a precondition for a review of their applications to access medical treatment outside the Strip.

The data points to an increase in the ratio of the number of interrogations to the total number of applications submitted to the authorities at Erez Crossing: from 1.45% in January 2008 to 17% in January 2009.

The following is one of the testimonies that was submitted to the UN committee:

“R., a 17-year-old cancer patient who is being treated at Sheba Medical Center in Israel, arrived at the Erez Crossing after having been informed by PHR-Israel that her departure, accompanied by her mother, had been approved. When they reached the crossing point at 9 a.m they were told to sit and wait in the departure hall. At around 11.30 three GSS men in civilian dress came over and asked R. to follow them for interrogation.

“Despite the girl's tears and pleading, one of the GSS men threatened that if she did not accompany him, he would send her back to Gaza. R. was separated from her mother and taken for interrogation. All this time, her mother was locked in the adjacent room and told to wait for her daughter.

“The interrogation lasted an hour, and in its course, the girl's cell phone was taken, she was questioned about her uncle and her father, their place of employment etc. On conclusion of the interrogation, the girl was taken back to her mother, and at the end of the day, around 17.00 she was permitted to leave for Israel

“R. … who was interrogated on 29.1.09. Testimony submitted to PHR-Israel on the same day. The patient suffers from a malignant tumor on the leg and is being treated at Shiba Medical Center in Israel.

Physicians for Human Rights-Israel is one of at least eight organizations that have submitted testimony to the Committee Against Torture, which this week is reviewing Israel's record. This year the UN is examining Israel as well as Chad, Chile, Honduras, Nicaragua and the Philippines as part of periodic reviews that it does of all nations.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s spokesperson, Mark Regev responded to the Physicians for Human Rights report saying, in remarks quoted by the Jerusalem Post, "There are unfortunately countless examples of people who have asked to come into Israel for medical reasons, and who have been exploited by terrorists," Regev said. source
Although Regev is obviously referring to the insane Israeli logic that some how HAMAS is responsible for everything in the world, like this poor little girl with cancer being terrorised and tortured by Israel, like global warming, like Swine Flu, like the assassination of Kennedy, like the financial meltdown, all of this is the fault of HAMAS. However, Regev's remarks on terrorists is 100% correct, just not by HAMAS terrorists, but rather they are being "exploited by Israeli Terrorists" I am so very happy he is finally admitting that crime to the world, it is the first step in Israel beginning to recognise it is a rogue terrorist state, after all, we already knew it long ago.....

Come Visit Gaza-Free Tour

I want to post this from a young Palestinian University student's blog "Live From Gaza". She and her friends decided to do a tour of Gaza (even though they live there) and they wanted to share this with people. She wants to promote the GOOD things in Gaza, and she hopes very much that people will come to visit her beautiful country.Additionally, she is quite an artist, I would encourage people to visit her site and view her artwork.

You are invited to a tour in Gaza!

Salamz all,

A good friend of mine and her other friend organized a trip around Gaza. I think they were inspired by the idea that we need amusement, we need some adventure!
Her suggestion was met by an overwhelming acceptance by me and my friends. On Thursday, a bus was waiting for us outside the university, yet it was an independent trip.
We were almost 50 girls including 3 mothers. We visited many places as you’ll see in the following videos.
It was an AWESOME trip! We had so much fun!
It’s nice to remember that even though Gaza is not the perfect place for entertainment, we still can fun with the available, humble resources that we have.
I think it’s show time! I’ve shot almost every place we went to. One last thing, the ship is not LAME AT ALL!

I’m trying to promote Gaza to be your tourism destination this summer Enjoy!

Shimon Peres Pwnd at AIPAC Conference LOL

Oh, this is priceless...........

CODEPINK activists got into the AIPAC conference today and took over during Peres' speech. Hey Shimon, welcome to America, land of free speech, well, that is until you order AIPAC and its bought and paid for Congressmen/women to remove that right from Americans.

CODEPINK Interrupts Israeli President at AIPAC Conference
Calls for Ending Occupation, Lifting Siege of Gaza, and Diplomacy with Iran

WASHINGTON - May 4 - During Israeli Pres. Shimon Peres' speech today at the annual AIPAC (American Israeli Political Action Committee) policy conference at the Washington Convention Center, CODEPINK members raised banners saying "Want Peace? End the Occupation," "What About Gaza?," and "No Money for War Crimes."

As the six activists were forcibly dragged away from the stage, they shouted similar phrases including "Tikun olam (Heal the world) for Gaza, too!", all meant to draw attention to widespread opposition to AIPAC's policies lobbied to Congress that include unconditional support and financing for Israel's militaristic policies including the recent devastating invasion of Gaza, building of illegal settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, the separation wall, refusal to negotiate with the Palestinians' democratically elected representatives, and threats to attack Iran.

"The brutal invasion of Gaza was a breaking point for me and many American Jews," said CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin, who recently led a 60-person delegation to Gaza. "I was appalled by the devastation and the suffering I saw, particularly among the children. As a mother, I feel compelled to speak out against Israel's bombing of civilians and the ongoing siege that is so devastating to the lives of Gaza's 1.5 million people-most of whom are under 18."

While AIPAC claims to represent the U.S. Jewish community, its wholesale support of the Israel government goes against the majority opinions of the Jewish Americans. According to a recent survey by the Jewish lobby group J Street, 76 percent of American Jews support a two-state solution, 69 percent support negotiating with a Fatah-Hamas unity government, and 59 percent felt the Gaza invasion did not improve Israel's security.

"Like most American Jews, I grew up with a deep appreciation for the state of Israel," said Rae Abileah, a young American Jew of Israeli descent. "After witnessing the attack of Gaza on TV and hearing the calls for crippling sanctions on Iran, I can no longer avert my eyes to the other side of the story most rabbis still aren't talking about. I am joining the dozens of Jewish organizations, and the growing global movement, advocating a change in the Israeli policies of occupation and aggressive violence. It's high time to drop the victim narrative so that we may all survive, and one day thrive as neighbors."

CODEPINK activists inside the AIPAC conference (with its theme "Relationships Matter") were: Medea Benjamin, 56, Rae Abileah, 26, Blaine Clarke, 29, Christianna Reinstein, 21, Desiree Fairooz, 53, and Tighe Barry, 52.

"The most important relationships for Israel to cultivate are not with U.S. Congressional allies but with the Palestinian people," said Christianna Reinstein, a student of Middle Eastern studies who joined the protest inside the AIPAC conference today. "AIPAC's lobbying of Congress has not made Israel more secure and has hurt American efforts to improve relations in the Arab world."

Wow, forgot to post this earlier, my bad. I was out of town over the weekend and my blog-sitter forgot to post it for me. Anyhow, Phil and Adam, the folks over at mondoweiss are now at the AIPAC conference where they aim to tell us the skinny on the Zionist controllers of America, so we can expect to see some good stuff from them. If you have never visited their blog, you should, and you can follow their AIPAC watch on twitter HERE. where they will be "keeping it real" on AIPAC and the "arse kissing US Politicians" who are BFF with AIPAC and do their bidding in Washington. Israeli Army Shoot 12 Year Old Child

Today the Israeli Army Child Killing Unit shot another child. But no need to worry, decent people of the world, after all they are “allowed” to shoot 12 year old children. Why? Because, according to Israel, you are no longer a child when you turn 12 years old. Never mind that the world definition of legal adult age is 18 years old, like everything else, Israel makes it’s own rules to suit it’s purpose of ethnic cleansing as was so graphically depicted in the T-Shirts the IDF soldiers gleefully wore with pregnant women and with children on them as targets. Israel has a long standing Army policy of shooting children since as far back as the year 2000, as I will point out after today's shooting report below:
Israeli forces apprehended a young Palestinian after injuring him east of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources said Israeli troops seized 12-year-old Ayman Shamiyya after shooting him while he was playing. There was no word about how serious the boy's injuries were. source
So let's now take a look at an interview that was given by an IDF sharpshooter in his own words no less. The important thing to notice here (aside from the FACT that they shoot 12 year olds!!!) is that this interview was done, not now, but in 2000,(thanks Owl for pointing the date out) a whopping NINE years ago. Which, points out that this "policy" of murdering Palestinian children is just "part and parcel" of everyday life in the Israeli military.
Don't shoot till you can see they're over the age of 12
He doesn't know how many children have been killed in the violence of the past two months, but he's sure that the army 'shoots everyone who needs to be shot.' A day in the life of an IDF sharpshooter.

Q:You haven't shot children.

A:"All the sharpshooters haven't shot children."

Q:But nonetheless there are children who were hit, wounded or killed after they were hit in the head. Unless these were mistakes.

A:"If they were children, they were mistakes."

Q:Do they talk about this?

A:"They talk to us about this a lot. They forbid us to shoot at children."

Q:How do they say this?

A:"You don't shoot a child who is 12 or younger."

Q:That is, a child of 12 or older is allowed?

A:"Twelve and up is allowed. He's not a child any more, he's already after his bar mitzvah. Something like that."

Thirteen is bar mitzvah age.

"Twelve and up, you're allowed to shoot. That's what they tell us."

Q:Again: Twelve and up you're allowed to shoot children.

A:"Because this already doesn't look to me like a child by definition, even though in the United States a child can be 23."

Q:Under international law, a child is defined as someone up to the age of 18.

A:"Up until 18 is a child?"

Q:So, according to the IDF, it is 12?

A:"According to what the IDF says to its soldiers. I don't know if this is what the IDF says to the media."

Q:And children are from 12 down. Is there no order that between 12 and 18 you shoot at the legs and not the head?

A:"Of course we try to see to it that he really is over 20."

Q:In the 10 seconds that you have.

A:"In the 10 seconds that I have, I have to estimate how old he is."

Q:And in what direction the wind is blowing, and the deviation here and there, and which way he'll jump the next moment.

A:"Yes, but there are hardly any mistakes by sharpshooters. The mistakes are made by people who aren't sharpshooters."

Q:And it turns out that they happen to hit the children's heads, and all this is just by chance?

A:"If you say you have seen children that have been hit in the head a lot, then it is sharpshooters."

Q:So what you're saying is that our definition of children is different.

A:"Your definition is different."

Q:Because for you it's someone who is 12.

A:"Yes."

Q:I want to persist in the matter of the 12-year-olds. Why was this age set?

A:"I have heard that it was important to the IDF to know whether someone was over 12, so therefore I understood that the age of 12 is a border line. They haven't told us any age, just that we must not shoot at children. The IDF doesn't specify ages. We take care not to kill, not to have incidents with many dead. Six dead is normal, there could have been a lot more." link
And, just to hammer home this "policy" of murdering children, yet another interview with another "Israeli Child Killer" soldier who is quite proud of his killing of a beautiful little girl called Iman, who did nothing wrong, except have the misfortune to be born Palestinian and live next to a genocidal rogue state called Israel. Again, this is a report from 2004, so this "policy" is nothing new for Israel as they have been killing children for almost TEN years, since 2000.
Israeli officer: I was right
to shoot 13-year-old child

An Israeli army officer who repeatedly shot a 13-year-old Palestinian girl in Gaza dismissed a warning from another soldier that she was a child by saying he would have killed her even if she was three years old.

The officer, identified by the army only as Captain R, was charged this week with illegal use of his weapon, conduct unbecoming an officer and other relatively minor infractions after emptying all 10 bullets from his gun’s magazine into Iman al-Hams when she walked into a “security area” on the edge of Rafah refugee camp last month.

A tape recording of radio exchanges between soldiers involved in the incident, played on Israeli television, contradicts the army’s account of the events and appears to show that the captain shot the girl in cold blood

Record of a shooting:

Watchtower
‘It’s a little girl. She’s running defensively eastward’

Operations room ‘Are we talking about a girl under the age of 10?’

WatchtowerA girl of about 10, she’s behind the embankment, scared to death’

Captain R (after killing the girl)Anything moving in the zone, even a three-year-old, needs to be killed’

Captain R took the unusual decision to leave the post in pursuit of the girl. He shot her dead and then “confirmed the kill” by emptying his magazine into her body.link
So what we can see from this child killer report above, are two things, firstly, the "watchtower" asks if the girl is over 10 years old, this seems to be in breach of their insane and illegal policy of killing 12 year olds, as they now seem to reduce the age to 10 years old, so which is it Israel? 12 year olds, 10 year olds, or just all Palestinian children that are alive and breathing? Secondly, this "murdering scum soldier" believes in shooting even a 3 year old child as he stated. Makes you wonder how many more are just like this killer, given what we have seen in Gaza recently. And lastly, see what the United Nations had to say about the Israeli Child Murderers three years ago in 2006:
United Nations
October 5, 2006

Ninety-one Palestinian children have already been killed this year in the West Bank and Gaza, almost double the number for the whole of 2005, with youngsters suffering increasing levels of stress from violence and fear in the Israeli-Palestinians conflict, according to the latest United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) update source
So, I think it is clear to say that there has been, and continues to be, an open policy to murder Palestinian children by the Israeli Army. Given that Israel would be well aware of these many incidents and numbers from the last NINE years. And yet, they have done nothing to stop murdering children in all these years. Indeed, after their genocide in Gaza their "soldiers" had T-Shirts printed to celebrate killing pregnant Palestinian women and children.

PHOTOS OF IMAN BEFORE AND AFTER HER ENCOUNTER WITH ISRAELI CHILD KILLING SOLDIERS:
PLEASE REMEMBER ALL THE HUNDREDS OF INNOCENT CHILDREN MURDERED BY ISRAEL.
Americans need to stop funding the killing of children, stop sending Israel BILLIONS of your tax payer dollars when Americans are loosing jobs and their homes.

Israel's "Shock & Fury"

Brazil will host visit from Iran's president and poor Israel is suffering from "shock and fury" because it cannot control the entire world.

Regardless of stiff Israeli objection, Brazil gets ready to host Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his upcoming trip to Latin America.

Israeli officials reacted with shock and fury after Brazilian authorities invited President Ahmadinejad for talks in Brasilia, summoning the country's ambassador to Israel, Pedro Motta Pinto Coelho, to give an explanation.

Much to Israel's dismay, Brazilian Foreign Minister, Celso Amorim, brushed aside the concern and asserted that the planned visit would go ahead as schedule.

"If we stop taking visitors because certain countries disagree with them, we would not be able to accept hardly anyone," Amorim was quoted as saying.source

Israeli Attack on Iran Date Moves Closer

Israel is ramping up it's dream of attacking Iran. This, in direct confrontation to US policy of attempting to bring peace to the region. Today's report is yet another example of Israels insanity and continuation of it's perpetual war on it's neighbours. If you are wondering why Israel is now becoming so focused on attacking Iran, I wrote about this last week, where I explain why Israel must attack Iran before June 2009. If you have not read my post you can read it here.Today's report below:

As the Israeli-predicted date for war on Iran draws closer, a report says Israeli's missile operators have begun weekly drills to hone their skills.

Israeli Air Force (IAF) reservists who operate the ballistic missile destroyer, the Arrow, and the surface-to-air missile, Patriot, have been called up by the Defense Ministry to spend one day a week on duty to prepare for a possible conflict with Iran.

The drills carried out by the missile operators are to improve their skills in countering dozens of long-range Iranian Shahab missiles expected to be fired at Israel in the event of a war on Iran.

"We are working hard to be ready for the Iranian threat," a top IAF officer was quoted by the Jerusalem Post. "We are preparing for barrages, split warheads and other surprises and therefore we need to retain a high operational level by everyone, including reservists."

While such drills have been carried out since last year those involved in them were "only pilots". The current duty, however, includes soldiers from the Air Defense Division who are on study leave.

"They come once a week to simulate different scenarios," the IAF officer explained.

TORTURE~UN to Investigate Israel

Evidently, injured and ill people leaving Gaza for treatment are being "tortured", Oh, I meant to say "interrogated" by Israel.

The UN's Committee against Torture is investigating Israel's interrogation of Palestinian patients, who sought treatment outside the Gaza Strip.

The move by the UN committee comes as several rights groups have condemned the way Israel is treating Palestinian patients.

A human rights group known as Physicians for Human Rights has collected data that shows Israel's Shin Beth internal security service has increased its interrogations of people seeking to leave the Hamas-run Gaza for medical treatment, AFP reported on Monday.

The group's data "indicates a rise in the number of Palestinian patients interrogated and forced to provide information as a precondition to exit Gaza for medical care."

"Between January 2008 and March 2009, at least 438 patients have been summoned for... interrogations... as a precondition for the review of their applications for an exit permit for the purpose of accessing medical treatment outside of the strip," the rights body declared.

Whereas in January 2008, 1.45 percent of people who had requested to leave Gaza were questioned, that number rose to 17 percent in January 2009, the group said.

It said the Shin Beth had interrogated minors, photographed patients against their will; harassed, cursed and intimidated patients during questioning; and returned to Gaza patients who did not cooperate.

People seeking to leave Gaza for medical treatment find themselves "between a rock and a hard place", the group said. source

Israel Owes Iraq Compensation

Iraq claims it will seek compensation for Israel's attack on it's Power Plant in 1981 according to International Law. Report below:

The Iraqi parliament is taking steps to force Israel to compensate for its air strike on the country's nuclear power plant in 1981.

The parliament's foreign relations committee is reviewing the Resolution 487 which was issued in June 1981 and obliges Israel to compensate for its air strike on Iraq's Osirak nuclear plant.

"According to the international law Iraq has the right to receive compensation from Israel," Asharq al-Awasat newspaper quoted Nasar al-Rubaie as saying.

"We have called for a legislation to be passed in the parliament to oblige the Iraqi government to follow up the issue," he added.

He noted that the move by the Iraqi parliament does not in any way means recognizing Israel.

"Iraq is a UN member. In order to receive compensation from Israel it is not necessary to recognize it," the Iraqi lawmaker added. source

Israel to Steal More Land..........AGAIN

The Racist Israeli cockroach settlers and their supporters are at it again. Stealing more land from the rightful owners and pushing forward with their plans for Ethnically Cleansing the region.
Israeli Interior Minister Eli Yishai has decided to approve recommendations by a special committee within the Israeli Interior Ministry to expand the illegal West Bank settlement of Ma’ale Adumim by 12,000 dunums (12 million square meters).

Expansion will include 6,000 housing units to be built between the Ma’ale Adumim and Qedar settlements, it was announced on Sunday morning. more here

Israel Breaks Ceasefire Again, and Again, and Again........

Sure Israel wants peace, the kind of peace they would have if they were allowed to slaughter everyone in Palestine and Iran. Another Palestinian shot today by Israeli IDF killers, no word on his condition, he is in hospital in Gaza. Report below:

At least one Palestinian was injured on Sunday evening after Israeli artillery shelled an open area east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Dr Muawiya Hassanein, director of Ambulance and Emergency Services in the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said one injured man was delivered to Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, having sustained moderate wounds.

Separately, Palestinian sources and eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces fired machine guns again toward eastern Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip. There was no word on casualties. The sources said helicopters were also seen flying over the area. source

Israel Destroys Palestinian Wheat/Barley Crops

The Israeli "Asses of Evil" are at it again, gotta keep starving the Palestinians....

Gaza – Israeli troops on Monday morning set fire to Palestinian-owned fields of wheat and barley in Juhor Ad-Dik, in the southeastern Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses told Ma’an that the fire devoured several fields at the eastern border between Israel and the Gaza Strip, which Israeli forces have labeled a military zone. Firefighters hurried to the area and began extinguishing the flames. link

Jewish Professor~Jewish Holocaust=Gaza Genocide

They should give this Jewish professor an award for speaking out (report below). Instead, the Nazi Zionist Student lobby are attempting to remove him as they have done with others. You can read about these groups HERE, they are on almost every campus, in almost every country, they are like the "borg" and they have a handbook on how to organise and attack, as well as how to use "hasbara" and they are supported by the Israeli government. Free Speech is only allowed if you support the Israeli Holocaust on Gaza. Story below on Jewish Professor:

A Jewish sociology professor undergoes investigation over drawing an analogy between Nazi atrocities and the Israeli massacre of Palestinians in Gaza.

The probe by the University of California, Santa Barbara, will look into allegations of improper conduct and anti-Semitism against William I. Robinson, who compared Israel's three-week-long onslaught against Gazans to the Holocaust.

Robinson in January sent an e-mail to 80 of his students, in which he juxtaposed photos of Jews killed by the Nazis and similar photos of Palestinians killed in Israeli incursions.

"Gaza is Israel's Warsaw - a vast concentration camp that confined and blockaded Palestinians," Israeli Ynet news quoted the e-mail entitled "Parallel images of Nazis and Israelis."

The email said Israel is subjecting Palestinians "to the slow death of malnutrition, disease and despair, nearly two years before their subjection to the quick death of Israeli bombs."

"We are witness to a slow-motion process of genocide...," Robinson wrote in his e-mail.

The move drew sharp criticism from Jewish groups and two students who quit the class and filed complaints, leading to formation of an ad hoc committee by the university's Academic senate.

The committee is to investigate if Robinson has violated university policy that bans professors from intimidating students and using campus resources for personal, political reasons unrelated to their classes.

Robinson, however, has rejected the allegations, arguing that it was within his rights of academic freedom to challenge students with controversial topics.

He called the investigation a "violation of academic freedom," saying that the students have formed a support committee and outside academics, including noted sociopolitical analyst Noam Chomsky, have publicly sided with Robinson. source

Israel Told to STOP Stealing

The United Nations has asked Israel to freeze the planned demolition of Arab homes in east Jerusalem

Israel annexed east Jerusalem after capturing it in the 1967 Mideast War and expropriated one-third of the annexed land to build housing for 195,000 Jews.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said in a report published today that only 13 per cent of east Jerusalem is now zoned for Palestinian construction.

An estimated 1,500 residents of east Jerusalem's Silwan neighbourhood are facing eviction where 88 Arab homes are under Israeli demolition orders.

Palestinians say the planned demolitions are aimed at forcing them out of east Jerusalem. Israel considers Jerusalem to be its capital while Palestinians want to make east Jerusalem the capital of their future state.

If the demolition orders are carried out it would represent one of the largest forced evictions since Israel occupied mostly Arab east Jerusalem.

Twenty-eight per cent of Palestinian homes are built in violation of Israeli zoning restrictions and face possible demolition. The UN report says about 1,500 demolition orders are currently pending. source
