Supporters of Abdullah Abu Rahmeh, a 38-year-old teacher, say his pre-dawn arrest on Thursday by dozens of troops is part of a recent, heavy-handed campaign by Israel to shut down a five-year-old movement that is the last source of unrest in the West Bank.

Since 2005, demonstrators led by Abu Rahmeh have marched every Friday from the West Bank village of Bilin to the nearby separation barrier that slices off 60 percent of the village land. Their acts of protest, which have also included chaining themselves to trees, have won praise from Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu and support among Israeli peace activists.

How can a journalist become a traitor to his country should he defends the human rights of a nation under occupation somewhere thousands of miles away? This is another example of how Zionists are seeking to ignite hatred, notes Iqbal Tamimi.

Almost every journalist who is doing a great job as an activist for human rights would have received threats and silly comments.

The worst of all threats on the net are the amateur Zionists who are employed to cause havoc but still make me laugh every single day when they expose very little knowledge of the playground where they are trying to score a goal amongst professionals.

The latest of their hilarious attempts that forced me to indulge in giggling for longer than I usually do, is the threatening letter or ‘ fatwa’ they have issued against the British journalist Stuart Littlewood, who himself seems to fall in the trap of believing this was really a fatwa.
Of course the Zionist gang this time thought of catching more than two birds in one stone, as a matter of fact they thought of capturing a flock in one stone since they knew how people in the West are frightened of an illusionary enemy called Islam, and knowing that the word Fatwa - no thanks to terrorists and misinforming media sources- is twinned in our minds with chopping heads and arms and no legal system or procedures, and the fact that UK is simmering with a new wave of discrimination created by a racist group that has been trying to cause trouble since few months, the same gang that demonstrated in Birmingham a couple of weeks ago calling for kicking out Muslims from UK and waving the Israeli flags.

Stewart published a post about the silly fatwa, where he wrote about few silly things that happened on the political arena when it comes to the Middle East, but the most entertaining story was a fatwa against him. You can read the full article here.

The so called ‘fatwa’ came under the heading ‘COALITION AGAINST PALESTINIAN WAR CRIMES’ and to make it look more serious and official it has been given a file number and reference.

This is cool guys, fatwas are modernised now, it’s not enough that anyone can give himself the right to issue a fatwa, they are trying to offer such childish threats a 21st century facelift, the fatwas which used to take years to be issued after having to go through so many filters of studies and serious invistigating by scholars are now available take away, and you can even order them online. This is what I call modernization of the Zionist tactics of terror.

Just for the sake of clarity the fatwa against Stewart held the reference ‘File No. TG-4617’ which means there has been something like 4616 fatwas before Stewart’s, this is re assuring guys, the people have implemented a conveyor belt adapting fatwas to the ever progressing needs of the scientific development of the modern world, and fatwas can be produced now faster and tailored to fit any mouth needed to be silenced.

Now to the next silly part of the fatwa that has been sent to Stewart, it says that ‘A fatwa has been issued against you by the World Muslim Zionist Organization in Dhaka’. God how I love these guys, I was bored with all the comedy shows on TV, I thought we ran out of the good script writers. Nothing to stretch our smiles a little bit further to show a tooth or two, and here we are after my despair I discover at there are still people of a different kind of sense of humour.
The idea of this fatwa is something so clever that Satan himself would not have been even creative enough to bring it up, how did they manage to mix and match and create a matrimonial bond between Islam and Zionism? I bit they presume that no one reads, or they might have relied on the fact the word Islam rings the alarm bell any way, they had conjured the secret formula for hatred by combining words like Islam, fatwa, and adding the name of Dhaka as a place where there are no control on creating the so called organisations. As a matter of fact the list of fabricated names of organisations is getting much bigger than the list of names of the population.

Now the tricky bit, what Stewart has been accused of in this so called fatwa by the Muslim Zionists claim ‘ It proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are one of the world's top Jew-haters, with an extensive history of collaboration with the Palestinian war criminals in Gaza and Ramallah’. Let me try to explain what my brain is refusing to swallow, A group of fanatic Muslim ‘Zionists’ are accusing a British journalist of collaborating with war criminals in Gaza and Ramallah, did they mean Israeli war criminals? The ones who have been just found guilty of war crimes by the UN? I guess the PR of this so called organization is not doing a good job. Besides why on earth a Zionist organisation would choose a Muslim majority city for its headquarters? Aren’t they worried since they are Zionists that Muslims might cause them harm? Oh ..sorry I have forgotten that they are a Zionist Muslim organisation.

Things will get better, the source of the so called fatwa ‘calls on jurists, NGOs and governments to immediately take all the necessary measures to have you ( Stewart) incarcerated as a traitor to the British people’. Oooh this is a big progress, as far as I know Muslims who are accused of manufacturing such threatening fatwa do the chopping jobs themselves, they have no respect to jurists, NGOs or governments, and it hurts their dignity bad that others should do the job on their behalf especially if they were Westerners, is this a schizophrenic kind of organisation or what?. Besides what has the British people got to do with this issue, and how can a journalist become a traitor to his country should he defends the human rights of a nation under occupation somewhere thousands of miles away. This is another example of an extra bird they aimed to catch using the same stone; they are igniting the hatred of the people in UK against one of their own citizens. Are they trying to smear Muslims here or they are accusing the British people of ignorance and stupidity?

Now the best part of this show comes when whoever wrote the fatwa says ‘ Other procedures are stipulated, including the application of the Sharia laws to disloyal individuals like you who emanate from the People of the Christian Book and live in the Dar al-Harb’.

That’s big talk boys, other procedures? How many do you have? They are threatening of ‘Applying of the Sharia law’. Where if I may ask?... in UK or they want to ship Stewart to Dhaka? Just few lines earlier they said they want NGOs, jurists, and governments to deal with naughty Stewart, then they call poor Stewart ‘ disloyal’ I wonder what they meant by that, disloyal to whom, I mean they are supposed to be living in Dhaka and fighting for the rights of the ‘ Zionist Muslims’ so what does that got to do with a British citizen? The puzzle is getting more and more complicated but it is hilariously funny. What has the Christian book got to do with this issue? besides using terms like 'Dar al-Harb' which happens to be a very ancient Arabic expression not in use since centuries, what has brought the Arabic language in the middle of a fatwa produced in Dhaka...is it another bird they are trying to catch as well? lets see... they want to catch the Muslim bird, the British journalists who dares to expose the Zionist Israeli atrocities' bird, the discrimination bird, the tolerence bird, the Arabs' bird, the bird of a third world Muslim country that is struggling on many fronts, and the British citizen's bird who were misinformed and terrorized by the ever inflating terrorism illusion.

I will not say anything about them calling themselves an NGO and weather they are registered or not, or have they ever been invited to any conference at all with other NGOs? I was just amused by the writing and the structure of their sentences since they want to bring Stewart ‘ the kuffir’ to justice.

Should any of ‘them’ know anything about Islam as those clowns claim, they surly know there is no word like ‘ kuffir’ can in any way fit here and not under any kind of restructured grammars, they might have wanted to say ‘ Kafir’ but since they are not Muslims, and know nothing about Islam, and they anticipate that Stewart does not know enough about such terms as well they thought of spooking him with a ‘ Bo’ message to frighten him away.

I just loved the way they ended their letter of threats as they told Stewart ‘A copy of this letter has been handed to the Home Secretary. It is also being sent to Interpol and deposited with the UK Council of Imams. We have been promised an investigation by MI6 which may entail the seizure of your computer files’.

Goodness, So they do know the Home Secretary after all, yet they did not mind threatening a British citizen and give away their address. I must say if the Interpol were send a copy of this letter as they claimed it might prove to be a good source of entertainment, since they are not used to getting letters from terrorists who threaten British citizens, that if they have really sent such letter, I am sure they will blame the post office and the strike of the workers for the undelivered letter. And by the way there is no ‘UK Council of Imams’. They have spoiled our fun by forgetting ‘on purpose’ to tell us who promised them that M16 is going to investigate their ‘fatwa’ and seize the computer of the old poor Stewart? The poor guys suffer the illusion that UK is like Dhaka.

Israel's Terrorist Tunnels

Zionist Terrorists are digging more tunnels in their effort to attack, destroy and terrorize innocent Muslims attending the Al Aqsa Mosque. The terrorists are in the process of creating a network of tunnels in order to attack Muslims whilst they pray and to also destroy the holy mosque itself. This is an ongoing mission and racist agenda to ethnically cleanse the area of all Muslims. So, where are the air strikes on Israel for creating these terrorist tunnels?

The Al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowment and Heritage said on Friday that Israeli authorities had begun excavation to build a tunnel near Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

The foundation, in a press statement, said the tunnel was being built underneath the Arab neighborhood of Silwan and is now 120 meters long, 1.5 meters wide and 3 meters high. The foundation added that the tunnel was heading north toward Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It said the tunnel would be connected with another one being built underneath Silwan neighborhood, with the aim of eventually connecting it with the network of tunnels that leads to Al-Aqsa Mosque. source

Gaza Death Toll Rises by One

In Gaza, Abdallah Na'im was yesterday released from his grave of rubble........Another soul uncovered, another person gone, another life extinguished.

Beginning in December and continuing into January, for 22 days Gaza had it's own 9-11 terrorist attack. In scenes reminiscent from September 11th in New York, yesterday in Gaza, another victim of the Zionist Terrorists was uncovered in the rubble. It has been eight months now, yet bodies continue to be uncovered in the 420,000 tons of rubble the Zionist terrorists left behind as a statement to the world that they are above the law.

The magnitude of death is incomprehensible, the numbers we quote so easily of Palestinian dead, they roll off our tongues and keyboards minus the gravity of what they represent. 6.6 people per day, for 22 days, today that number went up by one, and there will be more. Each one denied the most basic of human rights, the right to live and prosper in their own county, free from oppression and terrorist attacks from high flying drones or F-16s with DIME missiles or White Phosphorous. Today in addition to the 6.6 dead per day, let us also remember Abdallah Na'im and many others who will continue to be found lifeless among the 420,00 tons of rubble.

After six months… New martyr’s corpse under rubble

The corpse of a Palestinian was found on Saturday under the rubble of a house destroyed during the latest Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip last winter.

Palestinian medics identified the man as Abdallah Na'im, who was in his 20s.

Mu’wieyah Hasaneen, head of Emergency and Ambulance Services at the Health Ministry in Gaza, told Ma'an that "the decomposed body was found under the rubble of a destroyed house near the Wa'ed building," which itself stood near the Islamic University campus in Gaza City, but was destroyed by a Zionist aircraft.

He added that "the corpse was moved to the Dar Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City," noting that "the number of those who were killed during the Israeli war on Gaza amounts to 1,505," following the most recent discovery.

Meanwhile, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and its partners on Friday began clearing around 420,000 tons of rubble caused by the assault, and reiterated the need for the Zionist entity to ease its blockade so building materials and other vital supplies can enter the area. source

A Jewish organization distributed Wednesday leaflets on Palestinians in east Jerusalem calling on them to leave the city, and offering them "financial aid".

The group had quotations from the Holy Quran and the Torah and claimed that those quotations prove that the "land of Israel is for the Jews; and that followers of other faiths should leave this land to them".

The leaflets also quoted the "book of prophets"; a and stated that the "Jewish people were expelled out of their homeland for 2000 years, and now after they have returned, as promised, the time has come for the people of Israel to implement the orders of God".

"We ask you to leave the land of Israel, we don't hate you, we don&do not want to fight you just because you a Muslims, we ask you to leave according to God".

Some Palestinians who phoned the number in an attempt to know the identity of the organization stated that the person who responded to their call refused to provide them with any identification, and only said that “he would love to meet them in person "to offer them financial and immigration aid" link

The Sound of Silence~Israel Continues War

Jenin – Ma’an – Israeli warplanes airdropped soldiers into the West Bank, south of Jenin on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

According to witnesses the airdrops began at 11pm and continued until Tuesday morning in an area between the town of Qabatiya and the village of Kfeir.

Israeli soldiers also raided the village of Salilat Al-Harthiyeh, roaming the streets and launching stun grenades. No injuries or arrests were reported.

A raid was also reported in the village of Silah, west of Nablus, early on Tuesday.

Ask yourself one little question. Reverse this situation and then what would you hear? Armed Terrorists enter Israeli town, raiding the village and terrorizing the residents by launching stun grenades. The international community, led by the United States has condemned the attacks and called for the terrorists to abandon violence and disarm to move the peace process forward.

Israeli settlers denounce Obama in poster campaign across occupied West Bank

Israeli settler bypass roads and checkpoint areas were plastered with large posters denouncing US President Barak Obama as a "Jew-hater" and anti-Semite.

Palestinian drivers were surprised to see Obama sporting a black-and-white kuffeieh in the style of former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, with messages denouncing the American leader written in English and Hebrew.

Clearly intended for the West Bank settler drivers, the posters appear to be a response to Obama's recent promise to Palestinians to have Israel halt settlement construction in the West Bank including East Jerusalem.

Locals reported seeing settlers post the signs early Friday morning when there was little traffic on the roads.

Israeli Plan to Remove ALL Palestinians from Jerusalem by 2020

As reported from the Hamas Governments Information Office website:

Agencies - Sheikh Ra'ed Salah, the leader of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine, has warned that the Zionist occupation authority was planning to demolish 70% of Palestinian homes in occupied Jerusalem.

He said in a report published on Wednesday by the Khalij newspaper that the ZOA has set the date of 2020 as the final date for evacuating all Palestinians from the Old City of Jerusalem and then to get rid of all Palestinians from all areas of Jerusalem by the year 2050.

War Crimes~Hold Them Accountable

Firstly, I want to apologise for not putting up huge amounts of posts recently. I have been working on a few things I want to post here, it is taking time but they will be well worth it when I finally get everything done and posted here. Today I want to bring to peoples attention an Organisation created during the massacre in Gaza. Additionally I will post a slideshow of photos obtained from them in this post today.

This organisation is called “The Central Commission for Documentation and Pursuit of Israeli War Criminals” set up inside Gaza by the Government and their mission, in short, is to document, record, protect and investigate Israeli war crimes in Gaza in the hopes of bringing legal suits against the War Criminals. You can visit their site and sign up to their mailing list. People should support them; Israel needs to be held accountable for what they did. You can visit them here to read about their missions.

Now, they have several units within this organisation, one of which produces media. Things like videos, movies, etc. The videos are on CD’s; and I have been lucky enough to obtain one. However, as they are on CD, I have no way to get them online at this time, although I am working on that as well. Still, I have managed to extract many of the photos to publish here. They want people to see exactly what the Israeli War Criminals did.

The photos come under separate headings, children, UN Facilities, Schools, civilians, Government Buildings, hospital workers, hospitals, homes, homeless people and so on. There are close to 500 photos all together. I am going through them all now and today in this diary I will be posting about the children. Albeit some of the photos have already made it online, but many have not. So that’s my introductory, now my diary begins:

It’s hard looking at the massive amounts of photos, realising that you are not looking at some major production Hollywood disaster film. But instead, you are looking at everyday people, regular people, just like yourself, men, women and children, facing the same obstacles as you do in every day life. With one massive glaring exception, they are under constant occupation, living in an open air concentration camp, unable to run, or hide whenever their aggressors decide to inflict collective punishment onto the population.

Each one of these little people, these children, have been robbed of their life by Israeli war criminals. The types of soldiers who so proudly wore the IDF t-shits showing pregnant Muslim women with the heading “one shot, two kills” This explains in full reality, exactly how Arabs are viewed by Israeli terrorist death squad soldiers. They see no one as being innocent; they hate the entire race of people. It is this mindset that allows them to murder without feeling, without showing any humanity, without remorse, without conscience. This, the 4th largest army in the world with nuclear weapons, fighting against stones and home made rockets. What happened in Gaza was massive over kill to the highest degree, state sanctioned murder, collective punishment on an entire population at the hands of those whom should know better. Israel has learned no lesson from their holocaust. They have become what they once fought against and hated, they are now the 21st century Nazis.

Below is pictured one little girl whom I have picked out of the many photos. Many people will have seen one of the photos of her before, the one where only her small dusty head lies among the rubble of her home, the place she is meant to feel safe. I had always thought that only her small head was left as a stark reminder of her short life, and the crimes against humanity Israel committed in her neighbourhood. However, that photo is but one in three. In fact, she was buried up to her small head in rubble. She was eventually dug out of her very public grave, albeit her small body much to injured to have ever survived.

I thought to myself, who is she, what is her name, what was her favourite colour, her favourite food, her favourite toy. What was the sound of her laughter like? What did she dream of and what made her smile? These things we will never know, but we must all never forget, we must remember her and all the other close to 400 children massacred by Israel. Each one distinct, each one special, each one an individual, each one with the capacity to have changed the world, to have lived their dream, to have had an opportunity to leave their unique mark on this world. So with that thought, I would ask people to remember all the children below in the slideshow, victims of Israeli war criminals, each one. This is almost too much to comprehend for right thinking moral people of this world. As such, I am now going to walk out my front door and walk among the streets and fields, safe in the knowledge that I will not be bombed into the stone age outside my house. One long-standing source of tension between the United States and this part of the world has been the failure to resolve the Israel-Palestine conflict.
It is therefore unfortunate that you will not visit Gaza during your trip to the Middle East and that neither your Secretary of State nor George Mitchell have come to hear our point of view.

We have received numerous visits recently from people of widely varied backgrounds: U.S. Congressional representatives, European parliamentarians, the U.N.-appointed Goldstone commission, and grassroots delegations such as those organized by the U.S. peace group CODEPINK.

It is essential for you to visit Gaza. We have recently passed through a brutal 22-day Israeli attack. Amnesty International observed that the death and destruction Gaza suffered during the invasion could not have happened without U.S.-supplied weapons and U.S.-taxpayers’ money.

Human Rights Watch has documented that the white phosphorus Israel dropped on a school, hospital, United Nations warehouse and civilian neighborhoods in Gaza was manufactured in the United States. Human Rights Watch concluded that Israel’s use of this white phosphorus was a war crime.

Shouldn’t you see first-hand how Israel used your arms and spent your money?

Before becoming president you were a distinguished professor of law. The U.S. government has also said that it wants to foster the rule of law in the Arab-Muslim world.

The International Court of Justice stated in July 2004 that the whole of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem are occupied Palestinian territories designated for Palestinian self-determination, and that the Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are illegal.

Not one of the 15 judges sitting on the highest judicial body in the world dissented from these principles.

The main human rights organizations in the world, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, have issued position papers supporting the right of the Palestinian refugees to return and compensation.

Each year in the United Nations General Assembly nearly every country in the world has supported these principles for resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict. Every year the Arab League puts forth a peace proposal based on these principles for resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Leading human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch have also stated that Israel’s siege of Gaza is a form of collective punishment and therefore illegal under international law.

We in the Hamas Government are committed to pursuing a just resolution to the conflict not in contradiction with the international community and enlightened opinion as expressed in the International Court of Justice, the United Nations General Assembly, and leading human rights organizations. We are prepared to engage all parties on the basis of mutual respect and without preconditions.

However, our constituency needs to see a comprehensive paradigm shift that not only commences with lifting the siege on Gaza and halts all settlement building and expansion but develops into a policy of evenhandedness based on the very international law and norms we are prodded into adhering to.

Again, we welcome you to Gaza which would allow you to see firsthand our ground zero. Furthermore, it would enhance the US position; enabling you to speak with new credibility and authority in dealing with all the parties.

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), based in Gaza, stated that Palestinian lawyers have prepared 936 lawsuits against the Israeli army for committing war crimes against the Palestinians during the Israeli war on Gaza.

Some of the documented incidents are about children who were shot by the army at close range, entire families killed after being buried under the ruble of their homes, incidents regarding women burnt by Israel’s white phosphorus shells, and several other violations.

The Der Spiegel stated that the PCHR is trying to have the cases submitted to the National Court in Madrid.

The Israeli army and Israel’s leadership claim that the so-called internal investigation Israel carried out revealed that the army did not intentionally harm Palestinian civilians during the war which began on December 27, 2008, and ended in January 18, 2009. link

UN hearings to be held on Gaza war crimes
A UN team investigating possible war crimes in Gaza says it will hold public hearings with victims of the conflict in Gaza and Geneva later this month.

The team has spent the week interviewing witnesses and visiting sites damaged in Israel's three-week offensive, which ended on 18 January.

Richard Goldstone, who is heading the team, said it had hoped to hold hearings in Israel and the West Bank.

But Israel has refused to co-operate in the inquiry, accusing it of bias.

Anything Israel does not like is "Biased" or is based on the ever favorite, over used, phony term of "Anti-Semitism" Well, not this time Israel, people are no longer afraid to speak out on your crimes. Since they've used that term ad nauseum, what's left? Nothing is left, people see through Israel now. Israel's pattern of hiding behind the "Holocaust" and the "anti-semitism" label to both commit crimes and then to avoid paying for them.

Mr Goldstone said his 15-member team had visited 40 sites in Gaza and spoken to some 70 witnesses and relatives of victims. It had hoped to visit southern Israeli towns hit by Palestinian rocket fire, but was not allowed access.

This shoots a hole right into Israel's false claim that HAMAS rocket fire into Israel will not be addressed. Israel is blocking this team so that they can then say that the team did not investigate towns hit by HAMAS rocket fire in Israel.

Mr Goldstone said he hoped Israel's refusal to co-operate would not weaken the report, due for publication in September.

"If we haven't dealt with facts that Israel would like us to deal with, I think we can hardly be blamed for that," he added, according to news agency AP.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has requested more than $11m (£7m) compensation from Israel for damage to UN property in Gaza, after he accused Israel of targeting known civilian shelters and providing untrue statements to justify actions in which civilians were killed.

The Israeli military has said that its troops fought lawfully, although errors did take place, such as the deaths of 21 people in a wrongly targeted house. A fact-finding team commissioned by the Arab League said there was sufficient evidence for the Israeli military to be prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and that "the Israeli political leadership was also responsible for such crimes".

Right shocked by Obama's comparison of Palestinians' plight to Holocaust

Ministers and MKs on the Right expressed outrage on Thursday at US President Barrack Obama's comparison of the suffering of the Palestinians to what Jews endured in the Holocaust.

In his Cairo speech, immediately after talking about the Holocaust, Obama said that "on the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people - Muslims and Christians - have suffered in pursuit of a homeland."

Diaspora Affairs and Public Relations Minister Yuli Edelstein (Likud) blamed Obama's comparison between the Holocaust and the Palestinians' plight on previous Israeli governments for accepting the Palestinian narrative. He singled out Kadima leader Tzipi Livni, who he said emphasized Palestinian interests over Israel's as foreign minister.

Eldad's National Union colleague, MK Michael Ben-Ari, compared Obama to Pharoah and said that just as the Jewish people overcame one, the Jewish state would overcome the other.

Egypt: Iran less important than peace process

Egypt does not agree with Israel's point of view that Iran's nuclear ambitions are a higher priority for the region than Mideast peace, the presidential spokesman said Sunday.

Israel is looking to rally moderate Arab nations around the idea that Iran is the common danger to the whole region. The comments from presidential spokesman Suleiman Awwad, however, indicate that Egypt refuses to let Israel side step the issue of the peace process.

His remarks come just ahead of President Barack Obama's visit to the region and a high profile speech expected to address the faltering peace process.

"With regard to attempts to say Iran is a common danger, President Mubarak's and Egypt's priority is on the Palestinian issue," he told reporters in Cairo. "This will remain the priority regardless of the numerous dangers and threats in the Middle East."

The Israeli view is that the international community must deal with Tehran first, saying it poses a threat not just to the Jewish state but also to Arab nations in the region.

That view is not finding much support in the Arab world.

Bethlehem- Israel's air force used helicopters to drop fliers warning Palestinians to stay away from the Gaza border wall on Monday, residents.

"You have been warned. We urge residents of the Strip to keep a 300 meter distance from the fence," the fliers read.

Commenting on the message, a Gazan citizen told Ma’an, “Israel is seeking a new immigration of the Palestinians especially that the warning is not to passersby, but to residents living near the borderline. There are homes which are less than tens of meters away from the borderline, and there are agricultural lands close to the border fence.”

Twelve-year-old Muhammad Dughmush from the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City was injured by a box of fliers dropped by Israeli choppers. According to Muawiya Hassanein, director of Ambulance and Emergency Services at the Palestinian Health Ministry, the boy received first aid at the Jordanian hospital before he was transferred to Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, suffering bruises along his back.

The fliers were dropped over the homes of residents in Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, Ynet said, as well near communities in the south and central regions near Khan Younis, Kerem Shalom and Rafah.

In a statement, the Israeli military confirmed that it dropped the leaflets, warning that it "will operate against all those who approach the fence, due to the threat that they pose to the civilians of the State of Israel." linky link
