ISRAEL ANSWERS GOLDSTONES REPORT

Israel has quickly implemented its latest secret weapon to take out Richard Goldstone's report and to justify the massacre of innocent Palestinian civilians. No doubt this has been the plan by Israel knowing what it would ultimately face when the report was published. Meet the evil ones:

“The Israel Project”, a US media advocacy group, has produced a revised training manual to help the worldwide Zionist movement win the propaganda war, keep their ill-gotten territorial gains and persuade international audiences to accept that their crimes are necessary and conform to “shared values” between Israel and the civilized West.

It’s a clever document.
The manual teaches how to justify the slaughter, the ethnic cleansing, the land-grabbing, the cruelty and the blatant disregard for international law and UN resolutions, and make it all smell sweeter with a liberal squirt of the aerosol of persuasive language. It is designed to hoodwink us ignorant and gullible Americans and Europeans into believing that we actually share values with the racist regime in Israel and that its abominable behaviour is therefore deserving of our support.

Israel is hoping for a public relations massacre. The other side – the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization – don’t take communications seriously and have neglected to correct Israeli distortion. They are happy, it seems, for Israel’s one-sided definitions to prevail, which of course makes the task for Israel so much easier. This latest propaganda offensive is potentially the “coup de grace” to finish off the tormented Palestinians. See it here.

And the manual will no doubt serve as a communications primer for the army of cyber-scribblers that Israel’s Ministry of Dirty Tricks is recruiting to spread Zionism’s poison across the internet.

This quote at the beginning sets the tone: "Remember, it’s not what you say that counts. It’s what people hear."

Top priority: demonise Hamas
The manual’s numerous messages are aimed at the mass of “persuadables”, primarily in America but also in the UK. The strategy from the start is to isolate the democratically-elected Hamas and to rob the resistance movement and the Palestinian population of their human rights.

“Clearly differentiate between the Palestinian people and Hamas. There is an immediate and clear distinction between the empathy Americans feel for the Palestinians and the scorn they direct at Palestinian leadership. Hamas is a terrorist organization – Americans get that already. But if it sounds like you are attacking the Palestinian people (even though they elected Hamas) rather than their leadership, you will lose public support. Right now, many Americans sympathize with the plight of the Palestinians, and that sympathy will increase if you fail to differentiate the people from their leaders.”
The plight of the Palestinians under Israel’s heel was an international concern long before Hamas appeared on the scene.

But this is familiar ground. We scorned George Bush and Tony Blair and had to differentiate between them and their respective peoples. We now have to do the same with Barack Obama and Gordon Brown. We are tired of having to make that same differentiation between the Israeli people and the dreadful leaders they produce.

"ISRAEL’S RIGHT TO DEFENSIBLE BORDERS: With more than three years of violent history since Israel’s agreement to withdraw from Gaza and portions of the West Bank [sic], Americans have had time to take stock of the situation and form opinions. The big picture: they believe that Hamas’s leadership of Gaza has made Israel and the region less safe, while some are more receptive to what they perceive as a moderate approach in the West Bank by Mahmoud Abbas. Based on these experiences, they are willing to grant Israel more leeway in resisting calls to give more land for more peace."

Here we clearly see the motive for demonizing Hamas – Israel wants more leeway to continue its land-grabs and other criminal activities.

“If... If... If... Then”: Put the burden on Hamas to make the first move for peace by using If’s (and don’t forget to finish with a hard then to show Israel is a willing peace partner). “If Hamas reforms... If Hamas recognize our right to exist... If Hamas renounces terrorism... If Hamas supports international peace agreements... then we are willing to make peace today.”
How one-sided and daft can you get? Substitute Israel for Hamas.

Words that work
The manual sets out numerous examples of “words that work” – supposedly.

“We know that the Palestinians deserve leaders who will care about the well being of their people, and who do not simply take hundreds of millions of dollars in assistance from America and Europe, put them in Swiss bank accounts, and use them to support terror instead of peace.”
No mention here of the billions of tax dollars Israel takes from the US and spends on munitions to obliterate and vaporize its neighbours.

“Peace can only be made with adversaries who want to make peace with you. Terrorist organizations like Iran-backed Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad are, by definition, opposed to peaceful co-existence, and determined to prevent reconciliation. I ask you, how do you negotiate with those who want you dead?”
Hamas and Hezbollah are only regarded as terrorists by the White House and Tel Aviv and by US-Israeli stooges and flag-wavers in Westminster and elsewhere.

In Executive Order 13224 – "BLOCKING PROPERTY AND PROHIBITING TRANSACTIONS WITH PERSONS WHO COMMIT, THREATEN TO COMMIT, OR SUPPORT TERRORISM" – Bush used this definition: “The term “terrorism” means an activity that –

(i) involves a violent act or an act dangerous to human life, property, or infrastructure; and
(ii) appears to be intended —
(A) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(B) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(C) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, kidnapping, or hostage-taking.”

It describes the antics of the US and Israel perfectly.

"There is NEVER, EVER, any justification for the deliberate slaughter of innocent women and children. NEVER... there is one fundamental principle that all peoples from all parts of the globe will agree on: civilized people do not target innocent women and children for death.”

Quite so. Where does that leave Israel, which recently killed 320 children in Gaza and 773 civilians, including 109 women? From 2000 (the start of the second Intifada – the Palestinian urising against the Israeli occupation) up to the end of last year Israel had slaughtered 4,936 Palestinians in their homeland, including 952 children, according to the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem. In the same period Palestinians killed 490 Israelis in Israel including only 84 children. So, Israel’s kill-rate is at least 10 to 1, and rising since the blitzkrieg on Gaza.

Iran-backed or US-backed – take your pick
“Use humility. ‘I know that in trying to defend its children and citizens from terrorists that Israel has accidentally hurt innocent people. I know it, and I’m sorry for it. But what can Israel do to defend itself? If America had given up land for peace – and that land had been used for launching rockets at America, what would America do? Israel was attacked with thousands of rockets from Iran-backed Palestinian terrorists in Gaza. What should Israel have done to protect her children?’”

Palestinians too have a right to defend themselves. Hamas was the popular choice of Palestinians at the last election and is entitled under international law to take up arms against an illegal occupier and invader. If it is supported by Iran, so what? Israel is extravagantly funded and supplied by the US. Here’s part of their begging-bowl “Military Aid Speech”:

“Israel makes the request for military assistance out of self-defense. As a democracy, they have the right and the responsibility to protect our borders. As a democracy, they have the right and the responsibility to protect their citizens.

“Israel does not ask for US troops to protect itself. It does not ask for a single American soldier to protect its borders. It only asks for the funds for them to protect themselves. They need the equipment so that their own troops can ensure the safety of their civilian population through this gathering conflict with the enemies of democracy.

“They didn’t ask to have our nation built in range of Iranian missiles. They didn’t ask that their nation be a focal point for religious extremists who have declared war on the West and on democracy.

“But they are, and they need your help."
And here’s the rationale behind it:

“Americans fundamentally believe that a democracy has a right to protect its people and its borders. And while Americans don’t want to increase foreign aid in a time of significant budgetary deficits and painful spending cuts, there is one and only one argument that will work for Israel (in four easy steps):

(1) As a democracy, Israel has the right and the responsibility to defend its borders and protect its people.

(2) Terrorist groups, including Iran-backed Hezbollah and Hamas, continue to pose a direct threat to Israeli security and have repeatedly taken innocent Israeli lives.

(3) Israel is America’s one and only true ally in the region. In these particularly unstable and dangerous times, Israel should not be forced to go it alone.

(4) With America’s financial assistance, Israel can defend its borders, protect its people, and provide invaluable assistance to the American effort against the war against terrorism.”

It’s evident that Americans don’t believe in democracy enough to allow Palestinian democracy to flourish.

“When the terror ends, Israel will no longer need to have challenging checkpoints to inspect goods and people. When the terror ends we will no longer need a security fence.”

There are no rockets coming out of the West Bank, so why is the security fence still there – and still being built? Why are the occupation troops still there? Why are hundreds of checkpoints still there? Why is Israel still stealing land, demolishing Palestinian homes and building settlements there?

"Remind people – again and again – that Israel wants peace.
Reason One: If Americans see no hope for peace – if they only see a continuation of a 2,000-year-long episode of “Family Feud” – Americans will not want their government to spend tax dollars or their president’s clout on helping Israel.

Reason Two: The speaker that is perceived as being most for PEACE will win the debate. Every time someone makes the plea for peace, the reaction is positive. If you want to regain the public relations advantage, peace should be at the core of whatever message you wish to convey."

Israel has never met its peace agreement obligations. It doesn't want peace – every action is directed at keeping the conflict going until the Israelis have stolen enough land and established enough 'facts on the ground' – Jews-only settlements, highways, disconnected Palestinian bantustans – to enable them to redraw the map to suit their expansionist agenda and make the occupation PERMANENT.

Gaza in a vice
“Israel made painful sacrifices and took a risk to give peace a chance. They voluntarily removed over 9,000 settlers from Gaza and parts of the West Bank, abandoning homes, schools, businesses and places of worship in the hopes of renewing the peace process. Despite making an overture for peace by withdrawing from Gaza, Israel continues to face terrorist attacks, including rocket attacks and drive-by shootings of innocent Israelis. Israel knows that for a lasting peace, they must be free from terrorism and live with defensible borders.”

Israel never left. It still occupies Gazan airspace, coastal waters and airwaves, and controls all borders except Rafah where it nevertheless exerts a veto. Israel has Gaza in a vice, which is crushing the tiny enclave’s economy, starving its 1.5 million citizens and creating a huge humanitarian crisis in an attempt to bring the elected government to its knees.

"Draw direct parallels between Israel and America – including the need to defend against terrorism... The more you focus on the similarities between Israel and America, the more likely you are to win the support of those who are neutral. Indeed, Israel is an important American ally in the war against terrorism, and faces many of the same challenges as America in protecting their citizens."

Note how Israel’s strategy is almost totally dependent on the false idea that they are victims of terror and Western nations need to huddle together with Israel for mutual protection. Fortunately, level-headed people are beginning to realize who the terrorists really are.

It must be blindingly obvious by now that allowing parallels to be drawn between Israel and America only serves to increase the world’s hatred of America. US citizens need to wake up to this, and British citizens should avoid falling into the same trap.
Inject with “core values” and repeat over and over again...
"The language of Israel is the language of America: 'democracy', 'freedom', 'security', and 'peace'. These four words are at the core of the American political, economic, social and cultural systems, and they should be repeated as often as possible because they resonate with virtually every American."
If so fluent in this language, why doesn’t Israel acknowledge its neighbours’ rights to democracy, freedom, security and peace and end their military oppression?

"A simple rule of thumb is that once you get to the point of repeating the same message over and over again so many times that you think you might get sick – that is just about the time the public will wake up and say 'Hey – this person just might be saying something interesting to me!' But don’t confuse messages with facts..."
Never let facts get in the way of a good message!

“How can the current Palestinian leadership honestly say it will pursue peace when previous leaders rejected an offer to create a Palestinian state just a few short years ago and now refuse to live up to their responsibilities as outlined in the Road Map?”
This must be a reference to Ehud Barak's so-called "generous offer”, another of the myths Israelis love to peddle. The West Bank and the Gaza Strip, seized by Israel in 1967 and occupied ever since, comprise just 22 per cent of pre-partition Palestine. When the Palestinians signed the Oslo Agreement in 1993 they agreed to accept the 22 per cent and to recognize Israel within “Green Line” borders (i.e. the 1949 armistice line established after the Arab-Israeli war). Conceding 78 per cent of the land that was originally theirs was an astonishing compromise on the part of the Palestinians.

But it wasn't enough for greedy Barak. His “generous offer” required the inclusion of 69 Israeli settlements within the 22 per cent remnant. It was plain to see on the map that these settlement blocs created impossible borders and already severely disrupted Palestinian life in the West Bank. Barak also demanded the Palestinian territories be placed under "temporary Israeli control", meaning Israeli military and administrative control indefinitely. The “generous offer” also gave Israel control over all the border crossings of the new Palestinian state. What nation in the world would accept that? The unacceptable reality of Barak’s offer, contained in the map, was hidden by propaganda spin.

Later, at Taba, Barak produced a revised map but withdrew it after his election defeat. Don’t take my word for it – the facts are well documented and explained by organizations such as Israel’s Gush Shalom.

“Why is the world so silent about the written, vocal, stated aims of Hamas?”
And why is the world so silent about the written, stated aims of the racist regime and its political parties? Read their manifestoes.

“Successful communications is not about being able to recite every fact from the long history of the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is about pointing out a few core principles of shared values – such as democracy and freedom – and repeating them over and over again... You need to start with empathy for both sides, remind your audience that Israel wants peace and then repeat the messages of democracy, freedom, and peace over and over again... we need to repeat the message, on average, 10 times to be effective.”
Is democracy a shared value? Israel is an ethnocracy not a democracy. Is freedom a shared value? The world is still waiting for Israel to allow the Palestinians their freedom.

“The situation in the Middle East may be complicated, but all parties should adopt a simple approach: peace first, political boundaries second.”
Renounce resistance while still under Israel’s jackboot? The correct approach is for the international community to insist first that Israel complies with international law and the many UN resolutions it has contemptuously ignored. The boundaries are already defined. Whatever issues remain to be decided, Palestinians should not have to negotiate under occupation or duress.

Rockets, bombs and atrocities: the language of peace
"Bottom line: What will happen if we fail to get the world to care about the fact that Israeli parents in southern Israel need to literally dodge rockets when they drive their children to kindergarten in the morning? What will happen if the world allows Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, to get nuclear weapons? What will Israel do if bad press causes American citizens to ask [their] government to turn its back on Israel? Why do I care so much about the success of your communications efforts? I care because I never want our children to live through what my family and yours lived through in the Holocaust."

Only one in 500 makeshift Qassam rockets causes a fatality, small beer compared to the devastation and carnage resulting from Israel’s state-of-the-art rocketry targeted on Gaza. How does it look when Palestinians are forced to pay the price for the Holocaust? And how much does Israel care about the Palestinian holocaust it has caused?

The manual then gives a long glossary of terms. Here’s a sample:

“Deliberately firing rockets into civilian communities”: Combine terrorist motive with civilian visuals and you have the perfect illustration of what Israel faced in Gaza and Lebanon. Especially with regard to rocket attacks but useful for any kind of terrorist attack, deliberate is the right word to use to call out the intent behind the attacks. This is far more powerful than describing the attacks as “random”.

Israelis know all about bombarding civilian targets. And they are careful not to mention that Sderot, until recently the only Israeli township within range of Gazan rockets, is built on the ruins of an ethnically cleansed Palestinian village whose inhabitants were forced from their homes by Jewish terrorists.

“Economic Diplomacy”: This is a much more embracing and popular term than the current lexicon of “sanctions”. It has appeal across the political spectrum: the tough economic approach appeals to Republicans, and the diplomacy component satisfies Democrats.
We can all play this game. Israel is now beginning to suffer “economic diplomacy” in the form of worldwide boycotts.

“Economic Prosperity”: Whenever Israel talks about the “economic prosperity” of the Palestinians, it puts Israel in the most positive light possible. After all, who can disagree?

What sort of prosperity is it when nothing can be imported or exported without Israel's approval and fisherman can't even put to sea in their own waters without having their boats shot up by the Israeli navy?

“Human to Human”: “We know that the average Palestinian and the average Israeli want to come together and make peace. They want to live in peace. Israeli leaders have come together with Arab leaders to make peace in the past. But how do you make peace with Hamas and Hezbollah?”

Simple. You get off their land and stay off. There can be no peace under occupation. You have to be very stupid not to understand that.

“Humanize Rockets”: Paint a vivid picture of what life is like in Israeli communities that are vulnerable to attack. Yes, cite the number of rocket attacks that have occurred. But immediately follow that up with what it is like to make the nightly trek to the bomb shelter.

Would Israel care to tell the world how many bombs, rockets and shells (including the illegal and prohibited variety) its US-supplied F-16s, tanks, armed drones and navy gunboats have poured into the densely-packed humanity that is Gaza?

Still more advice...

“Living together, side by side”. This is the best way to describe the ultimate vision of a two-state solution without using the phrase.
Sounds cute but is worn out. Who would want to live alongside bigots and extremists who have made your life a misery for 61 years?

"When talking about a Palestinian partner, it is essential to distinguish between Hamas and everyone else. Only the most anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian American expects Israel to negotiate with Hamas, so you have to be clear that you are seeking a 'moderate Palestinian partner'."
Where are the moderate Israeli partners?

"The fight is over IDEOLOGY – not land; terror, not territory. Thus, you must avoid using Israel’s religious claims to land as a reason why Israel should not give up land. Such claims only make Israel look extremist to people who are not religious Christians or Jews.”

If the fight isn’t about land, why did Israel steal it at gunpoint? And why won’t they give it back when told to by the UN?

"Think PRO-PALESTINIAN. While I have spoken about Israeli casualties, I want to recognize those Palestinians that have been killed or wounded, because they are suffering as well. I particularly want to reach out to Palestinian mothers who have lost their children. No parent should have to bury their child.”
Israel won’t even allow cement into Gaza to build the graves.

"And so I say to my Palestinian colleagues ... you can stop the bloodshed. You can stop the suicide bombings and rocket attacks. If you really want to, you can put an end to this cycle of violence. If you won’t do it for our children, do it for your children.”

Effective Israeli sound bite....... Speechless.

"I want to see a future where the Palestinians govern themselves. Israel does not want to govern a single Palestinian. Not one. We want them to govern themselves. We want them to have complete self-determination."

Is that why Israel tried to snuff out Palestine's democracy – and the people’s right to self-determination – immediately after the 2006 elections?

"The big picture approach is this: You must isolate Hamas as:
A critical cause of the delay in achieving a two-state solution

– The biggest source of harm to the Palestinian people, and

– The reason why Israel must defend its people from living in terror.

Read from the Hamas Charter. Now, here’s how to attack Hamas: indict them with their own indoctrination materials. Yes, people know Hamas is a terrorist organization – but they don’t know just how terrifying Hamas can be. The absolute best way to heighten their awareness is to read from the Hamas Charter itself. Don’t just “quote” from it. Read it. Out loud. Again and again. Hand it out to everyone."

At last Israel makes a good point. After three years of “government” Hamas must be mad to persist with its ill-advised charter. They have been severely tested. They have matured. They have earned credibility in many eyes. Israel’s behaviour makes Hamas look good. But all that will count for nothing if they don't rewrite their charter as a matter of urgency.

Regev’s pearls of wisdom. But how safe is the region under the threat of Israel’s nukes?

"It’s not just Israel who refuses to speak to Hamas. It’s the whole international community... Most of the democratic world refuses to have a relationship with Hamas because Hamas has refused to meet the most minimal benchmarks of international behaviour."Mark Regev

Isn’t that a little cheeky, Mr Regev, coming from a regime widely condemned for war crimes, piracy and mega-lawlessness?

"It was the former UN secretary-general, Kofi Anan, that put four benchmarks on the table. And he said, speaking for the international community...

That if Hamas reforms itself …

If Hamas recognizes my country’s right to live in freedom...

If Hamas renounces terrorism against innocent civilians...

If Hamas supports international agreements that are being signed and agreed to concerning the peace process... then the door is open. But unfortunately – tragically – Hamas has failed to meet even one of those four benchmarks. And that’s why today Hamas is isolated internationally. Even the United Nations refuses to speak to Hamas. – Mark Regev

Which of those benchmarks has Israel met, Mr Regev?

"Israel is very concerned about the Iranian nuclear programme. And for good reason. Iran’s president openly talks about wiping Israel off the map. We see them racing ahead on nuclear enrichment so they can have enough fissile material to build a bomb. We see them working on their ballistic missiles. We only saw, last week, shooting a rocket to launch a so-called satellite into outer space and so forth. The Iranian nuclear programme is a threat, not just to my country, but to the entire region. And it’s incumbent upon us all to do what needs to be done to keep from proliferating.” Mark Regev

Why is Israel the only state in the region not to have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Mr Regev? Are we all supposed to believe that Israel's 200 (or is it 400?) nuclear warheads pose no threat? Would you also like to comment on why Israel hasn’t signed the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, and why it has signed but not ratified the Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty, similarly the Chemical Weapons Convention? What proof do you have of Iran's nuclear weapons plans?

And why do you persist in misquoting Mr Ahmadinejad?

The Holy City is not up for grabs
"The toughest issue to communicate will be the final resolution of Jerusalem. Americans overwhelmingly want Israel to be in charge of the religious holy sites and are frankly afraid of the consequences should Israel turn over control to the Palestinians. Consider:

71 per cent of Americans trust Israel most to protect the holy sites in Jerusalem, compared to 6.1 per cent who trust the Palestinian authority most. 8.5 per cent per cent trust neither.

– 54 per cent of Americans believe that ‘Jerusalem must remain united under Israeli sovereignty’ while just 23.9 per cent believe that ‘Jerusalem should be divided into Israeli controlled and Palestinian controlled areas’.

Given the choice between the two, Americans of all political and demographic stripes trust Israel to protect and have sovereignty over Jerusalem."

Israel is in control right now and prevents Muslims and Christians from outside the city visiting the holy places. No way can Israel be trusted. The UN's partition plan decreed that Jerusalem should become a ”corpus separatum” under international management. It is unlikely that the UN would wish to see its resolutions torn up or international law rewritten for Israel’s sole benefit, regardless of America’s misinformed opinion.

Get the name-calling right
I’ll close with the following extract:

“Many on the left see an ‘Israel vs. Palestinian’ crisis where Israel is Goliath and the Palestinians are David. It is critical that they understand that this is an Arab-Israeli crisis and that the force undermining peace is Iran and their proxies Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad. You must not call Hamas just Hamas. Call them what they are: Iran-backed Hamas. Indeed, when they know that Iran is behind Hamas and Hezbollah, they are much more supportive of Israel.”
By the same token we must call the racist regime what it is – US-backed Israel.

Iran’s support for Hamas is difficult to quantify and probably less than we think. More funding has probably come from Sunni Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In any case, it is peanuts compared to America’s support for Israel.

Hamas is an offshoot of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhhod and was founded in 1987 during the first Intifada. Hezbollah came into being in 1982 in response to US-backed Israel’s invasion of Lebanon. So, the territorial ambitions of US-backed Israel provoked the rise of both. Israel’s problem is entirely self-inflicted and shouldn’t concern the rest of us.

Hamas’s election manifesto in 2006 called for maintaining the armed struggle against US-backed Israel’s occupation of the Palestinian territories, which seems a perfectly valid aim.

Our obligation to respect and promote human rights
The Israel Project’s training manual is an unpleasant piece of work. It runs to 116 pages and I have only scratched the surface. It recycles many of the discredited techniques used by the advertising industry before standards of honesty, decency and truthfulness were brought in to protect the public.

And it serves to undermine with clever words the inalienable rights pledged by the UN and the world’s civilized nations to all peoples, including the Palestinians.

When you have to stoop this low you simply don’t have a case.

The Palestinian side urgently needs to strip away the deception and re-frame the Holy Land situation in truthful language. And it needs to debunk this Zionist handbook. If the PA and the PLO won’t do it, who will?

Everyone should bear in mind the following, written nearly 61 years ago:

“Now, Therefore THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY proclaims THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.”

It would seem that Israel has not read or understood the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which all nations signed up to. Attempts to wipe out the rights of people who happen to be in the way of the Zionist vision of a “Greater Israel” deserve no support whatever.

UPDATED:GOLDSTONE REPORT~”ISRAEL RECKLESS, DISPROPORTIONATE, DILIBERATE”

MEET THE NEW NAZIS
IT’S OFFICIAL
ISRAEL GUILTY OF CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY

Two reports on this first the AP is reporting this:
The report said that Israel's attacks in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, including the shelling of a house where soldiers had forced Palestinian civilians to assemble, amounted to war crimes.

It found seven incidents in which civilians were shot while leaving their homes trying to run for safety, waving white flags and sometimes even following Israeli instructions, as well as the targeting of a mosque at prayer time, killing 15 people, were also war crimes.

A "direct and intentional attack" on the Al Quds Hospital and an adjacent ambulance depot in Gaza City "may constitute war crimes," the report said.
And here's my report from watching Goldstone live:

I just finished watching Judge Richard Goldstone’s briefing at the UN on the release of his report which just happened one hour ago. From what was said the report has only just been handed out to a few people in Palestine and Israel and the UN and that was done, according to Goldstone, just half an hour ago. I expect it may be later today that the full report makes it online. Note that Israel banned him and his team from entering Israel or the West Bank to interview anyone. So they effectively kept witnesses away from the team. They hid the criminals from the law.

Here are a few quotes from Goldstone’s briefing:

Israel guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity

When describing some of the 36 incidents he and the group which consisted of an Irishman Desmond Travers a Military expert and others carried out the investigation Gold stone used these words to describe Israel’s actions: “Reckless, Disproportionate, and Deliberate”

In particular he gave one example of an attack on a mosque in Gaza. During the continued genocide in Gaza the Mosque decided to combine it’s morning prayers and evening prayers into one service each afternoon, to minimize the amount of people travelling outside whilst Israel was dropping bombs on them. It was during an afternoon service that hundreds of people were inside praying. Israel fired a mortar DIRECTLY INTO THE FRONT DOOR killing 15 innocent people. He said this was a deliberate act and a reckless act. He addressed the excuse Israel uses to attack Mosques, saying that there were no fighters at this particular service, not secondary explosions, hence no weapons stored inside as Israel wants people to believe. He went on to say that this was a direct attack on civilians. Additionally he said that even if there were some fighters inside a mosque, you do not attack a mosque during a service when you KNOW civilians will be inside in great numbers. He said there is NO justification in International Law or Humanitarian Law for attacking a mosque DURING a service.

Now, I watched this on CNN, they cut away after about 6 minutes or so of coverage, even though Goldstone was not finished speaking. After all, CNN had to minimize the damage to Israel. And here’s the best bit, immediately after cutting away back to the CNN studio, Jonathan Mann says this “Palestine and Israel Guilty of War Crimes” and then he said “I think we have someone on the phone” And there’s me thinking to myself, what are the odds it will be some Israeli to makes excuses. And guess what? I discovered that I am psychic when it comes to Israel. Because who was on the phone? Why none other than Gerald Steinberg from Israel, he’s head of “NGO Watch” ROFLMAO. And of course the hasbara started spewing, it was all the usual garbage, poor little Israel, Goldstone and his team are anti-Israel, the UN is Anti-Israel the World is Anti-Israel, the Irish are anti-Israel, the British are anti-Israel, everyone except Israelis are anti-Israel and the whole thing is JUST NOT FAIR……..This is quite comic given that Israel refused to allow Goldstone inside of Israel to talk to people and gather evidence. Israel had to ban him from entering, just in case he was able to talk to some soldier who had a conscience and confessed.ABOUT GOLDSTONE:
Goldstone, a Jew, insisted on a balanced approach. His proposal: Talk to the victims. All the victims.

When his appointment to lead the mission was announced Friday, it was clear that he had taken the job on his terms.

"I decided to accept it because of my deep concern for peace in the Middle East and my deep concern for victims on all sides in the Middle East," he said at a news conference in Geneva.

The mission, he and U.N. officials said, would examine abuses on both sides of the 22-day conflict.

Goldstone's appointment poses an immediate policy question for Israel's new government. Israel considers the 47-member council incorrigibly biased and has refused to take part in some of its previous inquiries, including one led by Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu. Goldstone's international reputation for fairness and balance, more than the fact that he is Jewish, could make it awkward for Israel to shut him out.

"He's a person of impeccable integrity," said South African lawyer Mervyn Smith, who has known Goldstone for 25 years and is a former president of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies. "The fact that he's Jewish is not going to influence him one way or another."

Yuval Shany, director of the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said he was surprised by the appointment. He said the U.N. council, dominated by Arab, African and Asian countries, usually sends outspoken critics of Israel to lead such inquiries.

"Clearly this is not the case here, because Richard Goldstone is a fair-minded jurist, and I don't think anyone can say he's hostile to Israel in any way," Shany said. MORE

Gaza Genocide Was "Necessary and Proportionate"

As the world watched in shock and horror at the Gaza holocaust, those in Israel's Alternate Universe say the response to the small periodic homemade rockets was "necessary and proportionate". So, using White phosphorus, DIME missiles, unmanned drones and tanks to wipe out hospitals, schools, mosques, 1400 civilians and 400 children, was "necessary and proportionate".
An Israeli government report has said that the Israeli military campaign in Gaza earlier this year was "necessary and proportionate".

According to the United Nations, the Israeli military campaign left more than 50,000 homes, 800 industrial properties and 200 schools damaged or destroyed, as well as 39 mosques and two churches.

The UN Human Rights Council has appointed former South African judge Richard Goldstone to investigate whether war crimes were committed during the conflict.

Israel has declined to co-operate, accusing the UN Human Rights Council of bias against it.

Allegations persist against the Israeli military about killings of unarmed civilians, the use of civilians as human shields and indiscriminate destruction of property. source

Israel Wakes Up in Bad Mood

Cranky, Cranky Israel, in one sweeping blow, Israel takes aim at the UN over Lebanon, and also an attack on Richard Goldstone, the man leading the investigation into the many war crimes committed by Israel.

Israel blames the UN for recent incidents involving Hezbollah. And….Israel is…. get this: “Complaining” about UN Resolution 1701 being “broken.” Oh, the irony of this is overwhelming. But isn’t it just like Israel to trumpet with rightiousness behind the Resolutions it agrees with, and ignore with deafness all those resolutions it refuses to comply with. How about Israel address the over 60 UN resolutions it has continued to break for years. Let’s start there shall we. Let’s begin with Israel meeting it’s obligation under all those resolutions it ignores. All of which pertain to much of the root cause of the existing problems between Lebanon and Palestine.
Israel says UN encouraged provocation on Lebanese border

In a letter of complaint addressed to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Security Council President Ruhakana Rugunda of Uganda, Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriela Shalev said recent incidents in Lebanon, including an explosion at a Hezbollah weapons cache, have verified that the Shiite group "consistently obstructs the implementation of Resolution 1701 by building new military infrastructure south of the Litani River."

Israel is also seeking a similar condemnation of two more incidents that took place over the weekend, namely the infiltration of 15 unarmed Lebanese civilians into Israel and the attack on UN peacekeepers by villagers in Bir el-Salasel.

"Such violations jeopardize the fragile stability along Israel’s northern border and stand in contravention of UN Security Council resolution 1701, in particular paragraph 8 that calls for 'full respect for the Blue Line by both parties'," the letter read.
Respect the “Blue Line” Eh? What about Israel respecting the borders of Palestine, what about Israel respecting international waters surrounding Palestine and additionally Palestinian territorial waters, all of which do not belong to Israel. Yet Israel commits continued acts of Zionist Piracy without punishment. And they go on to “complain and whinge” about Goldstone entering Gaza to speak with the democratically elected Government of Gaza and it’s citizens to carry out this investigation of war crimes. Note that the Evil Rogue State refused to allow Goldstone into it’s country to investigate in an effort to hide the crimes. Can’t have Goldstone talking to any of those brave IDF soldiers who are “breaking the silence” on the genocide. So here’s their whinge about Goldstone and the War Crimes Investigation:

In a separate letter of complaint to Ban, the Israeli ambassador protested the "meetings between Richard Goldstone, head of the Human Rights Council’s 'fact finding' mission to the Gaza Strip, and ministers of the illegal Hamas terrorist government."

"I am confident that, as a member of the Quartet, you are well aware that the Hamas terrorist organization repeatedly refuses to accept the three principles outlined by the Quartet: the commitment to non-violence; the recognition of Israel; and the acceptance of previous agreements and obligations. Thus, the aforementioned meetings with Hamas leaders clearly violated the principles and policy of the Quartet," Shalev wrote.
Temper Tentrum and Mega Whinge Fest. When will Israel realise it cannot control everything and the UN can investigate war crimes where ever it wants to if that country allows the investigators inside. The fact is that the people of Gaza and their Government have cooperated with the UN investigation, Israel, on the other hand, have run away to hide behind their prison walls as usual. This was Israel's answer to Goldstone regarding the UN Investigation HERE

Israel Offers "CHICKEN" To Gaza

http://irish4palestine.blogspot.com

Israel wants to trade "Chickens and Canned Goods"for Gilad Shalit

The Zionist Entity wants to offer a "partial" lifting of the illegal siege as an incentive to get back the ZOF captured soldier Gilad Shalit. They are offering to allow these items into Gaza: coffee, tea, soups, meat, fish, canned goods, fuel, clothing, kitchenware and egg-laying chickens.

Now, I ask you, notice these things are the staples of life, not excessive items, just everyday items people need to survive. This points out the fact that the Zionist Entity is strangling human beings by an act of war illegal siege that if it occurred anywhere else in the world, America would be all over it like white on rice. I hope HAMAS tells them to "Feck Off" and holds out for a prisoner exchange, as there are hundreds of Palestinians who were kidnapped and interned, just like the recent peace activists were. HAMAS needs to tell Israel exactly where they can shove those "Chickens and Canned Goods" complete with instructions!
Israel mulling easing Gaza embargo

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel's Defense Ministry has recommended a partial lifting of the embargo on Gaza as a goodwill gesture toward the Palestinians to spur along talks to free a long-held captive soldier, an Israeli news site reported Friday.

Israel has been linking the opening of Gaza's borders to the release of Sgt. Gilad Schalit, an Israeli soldier held by Hamas militants for three years. Hamas has been pushing for a deal to trade him for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

According to the new plan reported by the Israeli news Web site YNet, Israel would increased supplies of coffee, tea, soups, meat, fish and canned goods into Gaza ahead of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, which begins in August, to promote a deal for Schalit.

Israel would also renew shipments of fuel, clothing, kitchenware and egg-laying chickens as part of the package.

YNet reported that the proposal had been drafted by defense officials and awaits the approval of Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

Terrorists Kill 17 Year Old Girl

The Jewish Jihadists are killing children again. You'd think that 400 dead children in Gaza would satisfy their thrist for blood, I guess not:
JERUSALEM (CNN) -- A 17-year-old girl was killed and another person was injured on Thursday by Israeli tank fire at the El Marej refugee camp east of Gaza City, hospital sources said.

Israel Defense Forces responded to the report by saying a tank fired across the border in retaliation to mortars fired at an Israeli border patrol.

This comes on the same day as Amnesty International issued a scathing report about Israeli and Palestinian actions during Israel's fierce winter offensive in Gaza, undertaken after months of rocket attacks by Palestinian militants into Israel.

The report said Israeli troops killed hundreds of unarmed civilian adults and children, broke laws and committed war crimes. source

LIVE, FROM GAZA~IT'S WAR CRIMES TV

It appears the UN team who are now investigating the ZOF "Zionist Occupying Force" war crimes will be screening the hearings live. My first reaction was "Wooooo Whoooo" but then common sense and my spidy hairs began to tingle, always a bad sign. I wonder why this is? Why they would want to publicly air information that surely would piss off the Zionist Entity to the nth degree. The answer is one of three things. Either this is some sort of a larger picture to publicly humiliate Israel so as to give Obama some ammunition (excuse the pun) to use in order to force them into making peace. Or....the two bad options would be that this Team has already excluded any claims on various grounds, and they want to appear open and above board by listing the alleged crimes and then refuting them one by one. Or lastly, they found crimes were committed but are somehow unable to charge Israel and airing them publically is meant to mollify Gazans and the world. I vote #3 but hope I'm wrong, but what say you good people? Here's the report:
UN's Gaza war crimes probe to screen hearings live

The United Nations team which is investigating alleged war crimes committed during Operation Cast Lead, last January, announced on Wednesday that it would broadcast the hearings it plans to hold with Palestinian and Israeli victims live.

The team, led by veteran war crimes investigator Richard Goldstone, will hold the hearings in Gaza City on Sunday and Monday, UN officials said. (I hope there is live online streaming!!!)

Spokeswoman Doune Porter said that the hearings would be broadcast and the media would be allowed to view them from a separate room.

She said Wednesday that the team also would hold hearings in Geneva on July 6-7 under the same conditions. LINK

Liar Liar Pants On Fire

An aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's commented on reports of the cancellation of the meeting scheduled between Netanyahu and US Mideast envoy George Mitchell in Paris, saying, "Israel is the one that cancelled the meeting due to the need to collect more data and present it to the American envoy in an organized fashion.

"There is no truth to claims that the Americans called off the meeting due to a dispute," the source added, referring to reports that the meeting was cancelled due to a dispute between the US and Israel over settlement construction. source

Israeli Jihadist Terrorists Kidnap Palestinians

Armed terrorists entered Palestine and kidnapped 6 Palestinians. They have been removed from their country and taken to an unknown location.Imagine this happening anywhere else in the world. Like America for instance. Say Canadians or Mexicans came sneaking across the border armed to the teeth and kidnapped 6 Americans taking them to an unknown location to do anything they like, ignoring the Geneva Convention and all UN resolutions. Only then can you see how the Zionist Entity is allowed to operate with impunity, because America allows it to and supplies it with weapons and billions of taxpayer money.
The Israeli military said on Tuesday morning that it detained six Palestinians from their homes in the West Bank overnight.

In a statement the army said the “suspects” were seized from the Qalqiliya area and from the village of Bil’in, west of Ramallah, which is known for its weekly nonviolent demonstration against Israel’s separation wall.

The Palestinians are being held at an unknown location.

Quick Get Rid of the Evidence

Zionist Terrorist Jihadists ratchet up sales of properties belonging to Palestinians who fled in 1948 in order to wipe Palestinians off the face of Jerusalem, e.g. Ethnically cleanse them away. This is the Zionist Entity's attempt to steal more of Jerusalem before they are forced to make peace and stop their illegal racist behaviour. Nice try Zionist Entity, but they won't forget and neither will the world.
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM: Israel has stepped up sales of the properties of Palestinians who in 1948 fled or were driven out of what is now Israel, a human rights group said on Monday, adding that the move went against both Israeli and international law. "Selling these properties constitutes the final expropriation of the right to property of Palestinian refugees, despite the special legal, historical and political status of these properties," the Adalah legal center said.

The Israel (Zionist Jihadist) Lands Administration has carried out 80 such auctions so far in 2009, 106 in 2008 and 96 in 2007, the rights group added.

The sale of the Palestinian properties is illegal under Israeli law, the group said, as the ownership of the properties was transferred to the Custodian of Absentee Properties until a political solution is reached to the refugee issue.

"The sale of Palestinian refugee properties [also] contradicts international humanitarian law, which stipulates the need to respect the right of private property and explicitly prohibits the final expropriation of private property following the termination of warfare," it added in a statement.

Adalah sent a letter to various Israeli authorities last month demanding the cancellation of the invitations to bid on the properties.

The Israeli human rights group also plans to appeal to the Israeli supreme court over the issue.

Some 760,000 Palestinians either fled or were driven out of their homes when the state of Israel was created in 1948 and today the refugees and their descendants number some 4.6 million people scattered across the Middle East and around the world. - AFP

Israel Gets Dirty & Steals

Israel says to Gaza, here, have some cancer, whilst we steal natural gas from your pipline to give to our racist population of gluttons. Additionally, we have confirmation of what the world knows already. A British researcher's tests conclude the Zionist Jihadist Terrorists used "dirty bombs" in Gaza. War Crimes, coming soon, to an International Jurisdiction Court near you Israel. Evil Rogue State.........
OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Peter Eyre, a British researcher in the usage of uranium during wars, revealed that the laboratory tests conducted in Wales on samples taken from the post-war Gaza Strip showed that Israel had used dirty bombs which have devastating results in the long run.

Eyre confirmed, in a report published in Palestine Telegraph newspaper, that Israel used white phosphorus and weapons that contain depleted uranium in violation of the Geneva Convention.

The British researcher pointed out that the use of these internationally-prohibited weapons led to the spread of cancers and other relevant diseases among citizens.

The newspaper said that Eyre is expected to arrive in Gaza aboard the Free Gaza boat in the coming days carrying with him documents proving that Israel stole natural gas from Gaza shores.

In another context, former Knesset speaker Avraham Burg strongly criticized Israel on Saturday and described it as the “devil” because of its fascist practices

During a lecture organized by the Sikui association for the advancement of civic equality between Jews and Arabs in Israel, Burg directed a scathing criticism at Israel’s policy and ideology which he described as “racist". His lecture raised the ire of some of the audience and forced them to leave the room.
Awe, never mind, only Zionist supporters who don't matter in the least.
He also said that the Oslo accord failed, despite it was approved by both sides at the beginning, due to several reasons including that Israel saw the negotiations as a real estate deal. link

ISRAEL SAYS~"FORGET GAZA, HAVE A POPSICLE"

New York, Vienna and Copenhagen, you are being targeted by the Zionist "hasbara" machine.

At some point, the Zionist hasbara Think Tank Machine must have met and said “Gee whiz, the world is starting to hate on us cos we murder Palestinian men, women and children, and steal their land, and live in an Apartheid rogue state with nukes." So we really gotta DO something about this mess we created. Quick, we gotta divert attention from the genocide we did in Gaza, all those pesky dead Palestinian children does nothing for our "image"

Then someone with a room temperature IQ spoke up and said “I’ve Got the Answer!!”

LET’S BUILD ISRAELI BEACHES ACROSS THE WORLD

Yup, that’s that plan Stan. So, the little Hasbara Zionists got busy like worker bees and began their great Hasbara task of building “Israeli” beaches across the world. And no, I’m not making this up at all unfortunately.

The “Beach” is complete in Vienna, I wrote about it here in April 2009.

Ah, but now it’s New York’s turn, yup, the Big Apple is getting a Zionist Beach built at..... wait for it………….CENTRAL PARK on June 21st 2009.
New Yorkers to stroll on Tel Aviv beach - in Central Park

New Yorkers strolling through Central Park later this month will be surprised to find the iconic park pulsating to an Israeli beat.
Would that be the "beat" of DIME Missiles and White Phosphorous? Nah, they only murder Palestinians, not Americans who give them billions in taxpayer's money.
On June 21st, truckloads of sand from Tel Aviv will be poured across sections of the park, bringing the Tel-Aviv beach to Manhattan.

During the day-long project, called "Tel Aviv Beach", "bathers" will be given Popsicles and the ping-pang of racquetball will echo through the park
Here, have a free Popsicle and forget we murdered over 400 children using your weapons you gave us. Just have a great day:):):):):)
Bathers will be able to sample Israeli street food, sold from a number of food stalls set up on the transplanted sands.
Food is not free, they want more of your money, the Billions that US taxpayers send is not enough to fund their next genocide. So shut up, eat your friggin Popsicle, play racquetball and give us all your money!
They will also get an earful of Israeli reggae band "Hatikva 6" and Israeli D.J. Hadar Marcus The project is being held in part to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Tel Aviv's founding. It is being organized by the Israeli Consulate in New York, in conjunction with the City of Tel Aviv.

The "Tel Aviv Beach" project was held earlier this month Vienna, where "bathers" were met by protesters who set up a "Gaza beach" demonstration protesting the event.
C'mon New York, show the world how it's done. Boycott the Racist Beach in your neighbourhood. Put a call out to all the New York dog walkers to bring them all to the giant "Doggie Bathroom Beach" Make sure you leave lots of little "Doggie Packages" behind for them to take back to Israel.
An additional "Tel Aviv Beach" in Copenhagen will be bring the sunny shores of the first Hebrew city to Scandinavia in July, where, ostensibly, sunscreen may be less of a concern.

According to organizers of the event, the laid-back, care-free atmosphere of Central Park is just like a Saturday afternoon in Tel-Aviv, all that's missing is the sand.
Contrast the relaxed image of sand, sea, music and Popsicles Israel lays out above, with the stark reality of what they want you to forget:

Palestine has a beach with sand as well, it's all they have left since Israel destroyed everything else.

Zionist Terrorists to Pay Up

UN Chief Ban Ki-moon is reportedly considering fining Israel for its attacks on United Nation facilities during Tel Aviv's carnage on the Gaza Strip.

During the carnage, Israeli forces attacked three UN-run schools in the Gaza Strip, killing at least 45 civilians. Most of the victims had taken refuge in the buildings to escape the raining Israeli fire on Gaza.

Israeli soldiers also opened fire on a UN relief agency convoy in the Gaza Strip during a three-hour military ceasefire.

report continues after photos below of War Crimes committed on UN Facilities in Gaza:

The USD 11 million fine was recommended by a committee elected to investigate the damage done by Israel to UN structures during Operation Cast Lead, Ban told a press conference in New York.

Secretary-General Ban's decision to fine Israel over damages to UN buildings come while the loss of over a thousand people in the Gaza Strip has remained uncompensated.

A fifteen-member mission headed by South African Jewish jurist Richard Goldstone entered the impoverished strip in early June to launch an investigation into Israel's alleged war crimes in the region.

Israel, however, made every effort to stall the UN probe. Goldstone's delegation was repeatedly denied visa's into the Gaza Strip in a move labeled as "disappointing" by the UN official.

Israel has refused to cooperate with any systematic investigations. It has rejected the International Criminal Court (ICC) and is not cooperating the United Nations Human Rights Council fact-finding mission to Gaza. source

War Crimes~Hold Them Accountable

Firstly, I want to apologise for not putting up huge amounts of posts recently. I have been working on a few things I want to post here, it is taking time but they will be well worth it when I finally get everything done and posted here. Today I want to bring to peoples attention an Organisation created during the massacre in Gaza. Additionally I will post a slideshow of photos obtained from them in this post today.

This organisation is called “The Central Commission for Documentation and Pursuit of Israeli War Criminals” set up inside Gaza by the Government and their mission, in short, is to document, record, protect and investigate Israeli war crimes in Gaza in the hopes of bringing legal suits against the War Criminals. You can visit their site and sign up to their mailing list. People should support them; Israel needs to be held accountable for what they did. You can visit them here to read about their missions.

Now, they have several units within this organisation, one of which produces media. Things like videos, movies, etc. The videos are on CD’s; and I have been lucky enough to obtain one. However, as they are on CD, I have no way to get them online at this time, although I am working on that as well. Still, I have managed to extract many of the photos to publish here. They want people to see exactly what the Israeli War Criminals did.

The photos come under separate headings, children, UN Facilities, Schools, civilians, Government Buildings, hospital workers, hospitals, homes, homeless people and so on. There are close to 500 photos all together. I am going through them all now and today in this diary I will be posting about the children. Albeit some of the photos have already made it online, but many have not. So that’s my introductory, now my diary begins:

It’s hard looking at the massive amounts of photos, realising that you are not looking at some major production Hollywood disaster film. But instead, you are looking at everyday people, regular people, just like yourself, men, women and children, facing the same obstacles as you do in every day life. With one massive glaring exception, they are under constant occupation, living in an open air concentration camp, unable to run, or hide whenever their aggressors decide to inflict collective punishment onto the population.

Each one of these little people, these children, have been robbed of their life by Israeli war criminals. The types of soldiers who so proudly wore the IDF t-shits showing pregnant Muslim women with the heading “one shot, two kills” This explains in full reality, exactly how Arabs are viewed by Israeli terrorist death squad soldiers. They see no one as being innocent; they hate the entire race of people. It is this mindset that allows them to murder without feeling, without showing any humanity, without remorse, without conscience. This, the 4th largest army in the world with nuclear weapons, fighting against stones and home made rockets. What happened in Gaza was massive over kill to the highest degree, state sanctioned murder, collective punishment on an entire population at the hands of those whom should know better. Israel has learned no lesson from their holocaust. They have become what they once fought against and hated, they are now the 21st century Nazis.

Below is pictured one little girl whom I have picked out of the many photos. Many people will have seen one of the photos of her before, the one where only her small dusty head lies among the rubble of her home, the place she is meant to feel safe. I had always thought that only her small head was left as a stark reminder of her short life, and the crimes against humanity Israel committed in her neighbourhood. However, that photo is but one in three. In fact, she was buried up to her small head in rubble. She was eventually dug out of her very public grave, albeit her small body much to injured to have ever survived.

Covered in rubble up to her neck

After being dug out, now being carried to Ambulance

The last ride she will ever take, thanks to Israel

I thought to myself, who is she, what is her name, what was her favourite colour, her favourite food, her favourite toy. What was the sound of her laughter like? What did she dream of and what made her smile? These things we will never know, but we must all never forget, we must remember her and all the other close to 400 children massacred by Israel. Each one distinct, each one special, each one an individual, each one with the capacity to have changed the world, to have lived their dream, to have had an opportunity to leave their unique mark on this world. So with that thought, I would ask people to remember all the children below in the slideshow, victims of Israeli war criminals, each one. If you want to view the larger photos, click them to come to my flickr where they are much larger Post continues after slideshow below:

This is almost too much to comprehend for right thinking moral people of this world. As such, I am now going to walk out my front door and walk among the streets and fields, safe in the knowledge that I will not be bombed into the stone age outside my house. And whilst I am walking I will remember them, and I will pray for the day when those who are left alive in Gaza, can walk among their streets and fields, safe in the knowledge that they will not be bombed into the stone age either.

936 Reasons Israel Is Quilty of War Crimes

PCHR prepares 936 lawsuits against Israel for war crimes in Gaza

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), based in Gaza, stated that Palestinian lawyers have prepared 936 lawsuits against the Israeli army for committing war crimes against the Palestinians during the Israeli war on Gaza.

Some of the documented incidents are about children who were shot by the army at close range, entire families killed after being buried under the ruble of their homes, incidents regarding women burnt by Israel’s white phosphorus shells, and several other violations.

The Der Spiegel stated that the PCHR is trying to have the cases submitted to the National Court in Madrid.

The Israeli army and Israel’s leadership claim that the so-called internal investigation Israel carried out revealed that the army did not intentionally harm Palestinian civilians during the war which began on December 27, 2008, and ended in January 18, 2009. link

Shining Example of WHY the World HATES Israel

http://irish4palestine.blogspot.com/
Another one shot, another one dead, another day under Israeli occupation.

Just for one minute, Imagine if, during the end of the Bush Administration, American police officers, or American Soldiers, came upon a large group of people protesting against the Iraq war. Easy to imagine, it happened hundreds of times. And what if a small handful of those protesters, let's say five or six out of 200, threw a stone at the Riot Squad. Then, what if the Police Officers just opened fire on the entire group of American civilians protesting, killing several of them. It happened once in American history, at Kent State during the Viet Nam war. But never again!

However, this is exactly what Israel does on a daily basis for a great number of years. They commit state sanctioned murder, they murder people who are only armed with tiny stones against tanks, armoured cars and military rifles. And, Israel wonders why people hate them? More below:
RAMALLAH, West Bank, June 5 (Reuters) - Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian man on Friday in a confrontation with stone-throwing protesters in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian hospital officials said.

Medics said Aqel Srour, 35, was hit in the chest by a live bullet and another protester was wounded when soldiers fired at protesters in Nilin, a village near the city of Ramallah.

Srour died minutes later, Mohammed Shahwan, a doctor on the ambulance called to the scene, told Reuters.

An Israeli military spokesman said troops had opened fire when protesters threw stones at them in the village, but would not confirm whether the troops had used live ammunition. link
And I would like to take this opportunity to remind you, it is not just Palestinians they shoot, they shoot Americans as well. Pictured below is Tristan Anderson, before and after becoming acquainted with IDF forces.
Watch Tristan get shot by Israeli murderers:

Michael Sfard, an Israeli human rights lawyer, who has filed a formal demand for an official investigation, said that of some 120 criminal investigations brought against security force members since the beginning of the intifada, there had only been one conviction – against the Arab-Israeli soldier who shot British peace activist Tom Hurndall dead in Gaza.

Nobody was brought to trial in two other cases involving the deaths of foreign nationals. They were Rachel Corrie, who like Mr Hurndall was an International Solidarity Movement volunteer. The Israeli military has not accepted responsibility for her death. In the case of British film-maker James Miller, Israeli authorities made a substantial cash payment to his family this year, which came nearly six years after his death.

The Israeli military said that on the day Mr Anderson was shot, some 400 rioters, “some masked”, had thrown “a massive number of rocks” at their forces.

So, "rocks" and "masks" are considered deadly to soldiers of the 4th largest army in the world, with rifles and tanks. Makes prefect sense, only in Israel, where they murder for sport and never are held accountable for their crimes, even against Americans, Britians or any other country. They are immune, because they are poor little Israel.

Read what Tristan's parents have to say here.

The Show Will Go On~Without Israel

Israel is trying every thing to avoid allowing the truth to come out. Below is a depiction of the answer Richard Goldstone and his UN War Crimes investigation team received from Israel when they were asked about their war crimes:

Never mind though, the Investigation will go ahead without cooperation from the criminals. Richard Goldstone, the Jewish Judge from South Africa was on the tele yesterday and did a very good interview I thought. He stated that Israel has refused them entry into the country and also has refused to allow anyone to speak to the UN committee. Goldstone seemed annoyed and said that the investigation will go forward, that his team takes their work very seriously. They will investigate inside Gaza, then there will be an opportunity for the Israelis or anyone else to come forward and speak to the committee at the UN, a neutral place. He did not have any nice words for Israel, neither does anyone else in the world. They are merely criminals of the worst kind running from the law. No better than common murderers, crooks, thieves and liars. Justice will be served for the thousands of innocents in Palestine, the schools, the hospitals, the siege, the white phosphorous..........the list is endless, just like the Israelis racist behaviour. It knows no boundaries. Report below:
UN hearings to be held on Gaza war crimes
A UN team investigating possible war crimes in Gaza says it will hold public hearings with victims of the conflict in Gaza and Geneva later this month.

The team has spent the week interviewing witnesses and visiting sites damaged in Israel's three-week offensive, which ended on 18 January.

Richard Goldstone, who is heading the team, said it had hoped to hold hearings in Israel and the West Bank.

But Israel has refused to co-operate in the inquiry, accusing it of bias.
Anything Israel does not like is "Biased" or is based on the ever favorite, over used, phony term of "Anti-Semitism" Well, not this time Israel, people are no longer afraid to speak out on your crimes. Since they've used that term ad nauseum, what's left? Nothing is left, people see through Israel now. Israel's pattern of hiding behind the "Holocaust" and the "anti-semitism" label to both commit crimes and then to avoid paying for them.
Mr Goldstone said his 15-member team had visited 40 sites in Gaza and spoken to some 70 witnesses and relatives of victims. It had hoped to visit southern Israeli towns hit by Palestinian rocket fire, but was not allowed access.
This shoots a hole right into Israel's false claim that HAMAS rocket fire into Israel will not be addressed. Israel is blocking this team so that they can then say that the team did not investigate towns hit by HAMAS rocket fire in Israel.
Mr Goldstone said he hoped Israel's refusal to co-operate would not weaken the report, due for publication in September.

"If we haven't dealt with facts that Israel would like us to deal with, I think we can hardly be blamed for that," he added, according to news agency AP.
More on this below:
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has requested more than $11m (£7m) compensation from Israel for damage to UN property in Gaza, after he accused Israel of targeting known civilian shelters and providing untrue statements to justify actions in which civilians were killed.
The report found Israel to blame in six out of nine incidents when death or injury were caused to people sheltering at UN property and UN buildings were damaged.

The Israeli military has said that its troops fought lawfully, although errors did take place, such as the deaths of 21 people in a wrongly targeted house. A fact-finding team commissioned by the Arab League said there was sufficient evidence for the Israeli military to be prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and that "the Israeli political leadership was also responsible for such crimes".

It also said Palestinian militants were guilty of war crimes in their use of indiscriminate attacks on civilians. link

Cowardly Israeli Rat government are running around like vermin trying to hide from the War Crimes investigation. Scurrying into into every crevice they can find, squeezing into rat holes, hiding behind their rat hole borders. But they cannot escape. The Vermin Control Squad headed by Richard Goldstone will still carry out their investigation without assistance from the Criminal rats hiding in their rat holes.
Israel said Monday that it will not cooperate with the UN inquiry panel to investigate alleged violations of international humanitarian law during the Israeli military offensive on Gaza

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Ehud Barak made the remarks to reporters after meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at UN Headquarters.link
