BEIRUT: Iran, Lebanon, and the United Nations will soon begin joint efforts to determine the fate of four Iranian nationals who have been held by Israel for 27 years, the Iranian Embassy in Lebanon announced in a statement on Monday.

Four Iranian nationals, charge d'affaires Mohsen Mousavi, military attache of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ahmad Motevasellian, Taqi Rastegar Moqaddam, a diplomat from the embassy, and Kazem Akhavan, a reporter and photographer from the Islamic Republic News Agency, were allegedly captured by the Lebanese Forces while traveling to southern Lebanon in 1982, then handed over to the Zionist regime and transferred to a prison in occupied Palestine.

The statement also criticized the "defendants of human rights and the international community for totally ignoring the issue," Hizbullah's Al-Manar television reported on Tuesday. The Iranian Embassy statement thanked Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for his efforts to obtain the release of the abducted men. At a ceremony held in Tehran on July 3 to mark the 27th anniversary of the kidnapping, Iranian National Prosecutor General Qorban-Ali Dorri Najafabadi called on UN chief Ban Ki-moon to take measures to determine the fate of the four Iranian nationals, The Tehran Times reported on Tuesday. source

Additional settlements are the reward FATAH has received from Israel, additional settlements are what the USA have received for its attempts at “talking” with Israel. Time to increase actions against Israel, talking does nothing except give them more time to steal and ethnically cleanse Palestinians off their own land.

Israel defies US with plan for 240 new homes on Palestinian land

Israel's defence ministry has proposed legalising 60 existing homes at a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank, and building another 240 homes at the site, despite US calls for a halt to settlement growth.

It said the construction plan was put forward for public inspection shortly after the Israeli government was formed this spring and was first approved by Ehud Barak, the defence minister. It was now awaiting final approval.

The plan, which follows a pattern over many years of settlement growth, appears to challenge directly Barack Obama's administration, which has issued several clear calls for an end to the practice.

In an interview yesterday Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, said arguing about settlement activity was a waste of time. Last week, the US secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, told Israel's foreign minister, Avigdor ¬Lieberman, that Washington wanted "to see a stop to the settlements".

Bimkom said the plan covered 86 hectares (212 acres) and stretched across agricultural land belonging to the village of al-Jania, which is home to 1,200 Palestinians. The only way the farmers could reach their land was along a road which, under the new plan, would become an internal part of the settlement and therefore off-limits to Palestinians. "The new plan, which incorporates part of the road, will disable residents of al-Jania to work their lands and will greatly damage their freedom of movement," Bimkom said.

Water Reservoir Hill was mentioned in a 2005 report for the Israeli government by the lawyer Talia Sasson, who found it was neither authorised nor approved by the Israeli government and was built without an approved, detailed, plan. Some of it is built on privately owned Palestinian land and the site is far from the main settlement blocs and several miles inside the West Bank.

US cancels Netanyahu meet over settlements:
JERUSALEM (AFP) — Washington called off a meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the US Middle East envoy because of Israel's refusal to halt settlement growth, an Israeli newspaper said.

The mass-selling Yediot Aharonot, quoting an unnamed Israeli official, said that Washington issued a "stern" message to Netanyahu to halt all settlement activity on occupied Palestinian land, including so-called "natural growth" within existing settlements.

"Once you've finished the homework we gave you on stopping construction in the settlements, let us know. Until then, there's no point in having (US Middle East envoy George) Mitchell fly to Paris to meet you," the official said.

Racist Armed Militia Enter Al Aqsa Mosque

In a shocking move, Israel’s Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch, member of the ultra-right-wing Israel Beitenu Party decides to expand his racist mind by visiting the Al Aqsa Mosque to learn more about his neighbours in an effort to understand them……………..as if.

In fact he forces his way into a Muslim holy site, surrounded by an armed racist militia, in order to show the lowly Muslims who is in charge of their very lives.

Reminds me of the old days when bigots marched through Catholic neighbourhoods singing sectarian songs, and spitting on people, just to remind the Irish who had the power over them. Or when the Nazi's marched through Jewish neighbourhoods. You'd think they would have learned a lesson on how to treat people from once being the victim of Nazis. However, they have now become the new 21st century Nazis. What a shame as they once denounced collective punishment. Same shit, different country.

Israel’s Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch visited the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem’s Old City under heavy guard on Tuesday morning in what Palestinian officials condemned as a provocation.

Aharonovitch, a member of the ultra-right-wing Israel Beitenu Party, toured the compound accompanied by Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen and Jerusalem District Police Chief Aharon Franco.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site in Islam and also a major symbol of Palestinian nationalism. A visit by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in 2000 sparked the second Palestinian uprising, the Al-Aqsa Intifada.

Israeli officials entered the compound at 8:20am surrounded by security guards. They walked to the eastern wall of the mosque, and then stopped to listen to a report about the situation at the holy site.

Aharonovitch and his delegation then moved to the Dome of the Rock, where the Islamic Waqf is currently performing maintenance work. Recently some of the maintenance work was ordered to stop by the Israeli police.

The Al-Aqsa Foundation for Heritage said in a statement that the Israeli minister also barged into the Marwani mosque and into the Dome of the Rock, and circled the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The organization said, “This visit shows that the Israeli institution are targeting Al-Aqsa,” and it asked, “is this incursion a provocation only or is there something else behind the visit?”

Shiekh Azzam Khatib, the director of Jerusalem Waqf (Endowment) said the visit was carried out without a coordination with the Waqf, which has jurisdiction over the compound. He said he did not know the reason for the visit.link

George Galloway Target of Zionist Attack~AGAIN

Whilst he may have been “mildly” chastised, what is quite interesting is that OFCOM said this about it;

Making their decision, the media regulator recognized that the issue of Gaza was a “matter of major political controversy” and that Galloway makes no bones about his take on the situation in Gaza, even going so far as to quote the presenter: “I am not impartial on this subject, nor can I be…”

Though, Ofcom did also stipulate that on Galloway’s show on 2 January 2009 he said: “You’re welcome whatever your point of view but you’re especially welcome if you disagree with me…”

Finally concluding that, ‘there was an appropriately wide range of significant views aired on the station and on George Galloway during the period to which these complaints related.

An Anarchist bar in Tel Aviv has banned Israeli Solders from entering wearing their uniforms and carrying their weapons. And this has caused "Zionist Feathers" to be ruffled in a comedic fashion. UK pro-Zionist journalist Seth Friedman who writes for the Guardian has used his column to publish his public meltdown. It's one thing for a bar or club to employ a dress code for sartorial reasons, quite another to exclude law-abiding citizens simply because of their adherence to civic duty. In a country such as Israel, where national service is compulsory, to ban soldiers in uniform from entering a pub is to tread on shaky ground. Yet that is what the owners of the Rogatka bar in Tel Aviv have decided upon, tarring all IDF personnel with the same dismissive brush.

To declare anyone decked out in olive-green uniform as persona non grata is a step too far, regardless of the justifications offered by the anarchist collective running the bar. The response given by one of the proprietors, Adi Vinter, is that "We can't hold views against discrimination and oppression, while at the same time supporting the infrastructure that exploits human beings and other animals". The sentiment may be admirable, but to extrapolate it into a ban on uniformed soldiers makes little sense: first because – according to Vinter's own logic – she and her friends shouldn't be doing business inside Israel at all.

While there would of course be grounds for kicking out anyone walking in with a swastika tattoo, a Kach fist t-shirt or a Hamas headscarf, to imply that every member of the IDF is a de facto racist is completely unacceptable.

In Jaffa, where tensions often run high between soldiers and locals, the Arab-owned restaurants still teem with uniformed IDF staff at all hours of the day, the proprietors recognising that not all soldiers are evil, and that they should therefore be judged on an individual basis. The owners of Rogatka could learn a great deal from such an approach, rather than loftily applying their illogical blanket ban to their own establishment.link

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Peter Eyre, a British researcher in the usage of uranium during wars, revealed that the laboratory tests conducted in Wales on samples taken from the post-war Gaza Strip showed that Israel had used dirty bombs which have devastating results in the long run.

Eyre confirmed, in a report published in Palestine Telegraph newspaper, that Israel used white phosphorus and weapons that contain depleted uranium in violation of the Geneva Convention.

The British researcher pointed out that the use of these internationally-prohibited weapons led to the spread of cancers and other relevant diseases among citizens.

The newspaper said that Eyre is expected to arrive in Gaza aboard the Free Gaza boat in the coming days carrying with him documents proving that Israel stole natural gas from Gaza shores.

In another context, former Knesset speaker Avraham Burg strongly criticized Israel on Saturday and described it as the “devil” because of its fascist practices

During a lecture organized by the Sikui association for the advancement of civic equality between Jews and Arabs in Israel, Burg directed a scathing criticism at Israel’s policy and ideology which he described as “racist". His lecture raised the ire of some of the audience and forced them to leave the room.

The protest grabbed attention as they chanted, "Tel Aviv - you can't hide, we can see your dirty side!" CODEPINK states the mud they covered themselves in was to represent the "dirty policies Irsrael holds towards Palestine."

Holding pink umbrellas outside the artificial Tel Aviv Beach, the women held signs that read, "Say no to Israel's war crimes."

Israeli police, along with municipal workers, on Sunday evening carried out a large campaign against Palestinian homeowners in Jerusalem, ransacking 65 houses in different neighborhoods to hand families demolition orders.

Residents told Ma’an’s correspondent that some of these families had received the same notices before, such as the owner of the As-Sunbula building in the Nusaiba neighborhood, which consists of 24 apartments, and a building owned by Thamin Abu Qabalah in Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, which has 15 apartments.

New demolition orders were handed over to Muhammad Abu Khdeir related to a 12-apartment building he owns in Shu’fat, north of Jerusalem. Another 12-room block known as the Ghayth building was also served in Beit Hanina. Two new demolition orders were also handed over to two families living in the Wadi Qaddoum neighborhood in Silwan, south of Jerusalem. source

Another Jerusalem resident was forced to demolish part of his own home on Friday, following orders from the Israeli municipal council of Jerusalem.

The self-demolition of Muhammad Najib Al-Ju’ba’s 25-square-meter home addition on Virgin Street near the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the Old City of Jerusalem marks the second week in a row Palestinians in Jerusalem have had to tear down their own homes.

Last week two self-demolitions were ordered, and on Friday Al-Ju’ba was faced with self-demolition or paying a 13,000 shekel fine for illegally constructing an extra room on his home. Paying the fine would not ensure a permit for the structure, and may simply postpone its destruction.

The house was built more than 50 years ago and is now home to eight. Twelve years ago, Al-Ju’ba built an additional room to accommodate his growing family. source

Israeli Agents Will Open Rafah for 3 Days

Gaza's sole border with Egypt will open next week for three days. Awe, how nice of Israel to “allow” Palestinians to travel in and out of their country.

In a statement received, the staff member said that the Rafah crossing will open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (27-29 June). Travel will be allowed for people who have been registered with the de facto Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza, in addition to coordination tables received from the Egyptian side.

The sources added that the border staff have coordinated with the de facto Interior Ministry to facilitate the processing of traveling citizens, affirming their concern for applying regulations so as to ensure transparency and impartiality.

Traveling Palestinians will be taken through assembly points and busses only, and it will not be permitted for anyone to gather at the Rafah crossing itself, the statement noted.

"We have kept contact with the Egyptian side during the previous period to ensure the travel of all people who are recorded in the formal tables and to facilitate the process of reaching Egypt, within mechanisms that ensure a speedy entry of busses," it added.

Israel and Egypt have maintained a near-total blockade of the Gaza Strip by land and sea since June 2007, and the quantities and types of goods allowed into Gaza are subject to tight restrictions. According to the UN and aid agencies, some items, such as construction materials needed to rebuild from the recent war, are completely banned. Exports are also prohibited, and Gaza’s 1.5 million residents are banned from travelling. source

The Israeli occupation navy seized four Gazan fishermen on Monday morning after stopping their boats off the Gaza City coast. They were taken to Israel’s Ashdod port, north of the Gaza Strip.

Head of the Palestinian fishermen’s union Nizar Ayyash said that Israeli warships obstructed two fishing boats, taking four fishermen, all members of the As-Sultan family, while they were sailing in the As-Sudaniyya area. He said Israeli occupation navy officers beat the fishermen and also confiscated their boats.

The Israeli occupation’s navy prohibits Gazan fishermen from sailing more than three miles from the coast. If fishermen attempt to sail farther, they are pursued, shot at, detained, and often asked to become informers for Israeli intelligence. Under the Oslo peace agreements, Israel is obligated to allow Palestinians to fish as far as 20 nautical miles from Gaza.

A Zionist military court decided on Wednesday 17/6/2009 to release the President of the Palestinian Legislative Council Dr. Aziz Dweik within 48 hours after holding him prisoner for more than 36 months.

Dr. Dweik’s lawyer Fadi Al-Qawasmi said that release came after the court had rejected the prosecution’s request to extend Dweik’s sentence from 36 months to 42.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Dweik was kidnapped with 39 lawmakers and ministers of the Hamas parliamentary bloc in the West Bank since June 2006 after Hamas won the elections.

In the last December, "Ofer" court sentenced Dr. Dweik to a term of three years and two suspended years.

Later, the court approved the resolution after it had accused him of membership in Hamas Change and Reform bloc, which represents the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" in the Palestinian Legislative Council.

The head of the Legislative Council, who was kidnapped three years ago, suffers bad and difficult health conditions. He also suffers from severe pain in the left side of his body and heart disease. In the past, he was given medicine with an unknown source, led to a severe dizzy spell.

Palestinian lawmaker Samira Al-Halayka also called for the release of all detainees especially, members of parliament, considering Dweik’s release as a good step for his home town of Al-Khalil, in the West Bank.

Dweik is a professor at An-Najah University in the West Bank city of Nablus. He holds a PhD in Regional and Architecture Planning from the University of Pennsylvania in the US.

HAMAS Secret Weapon & Other Stuff

A Jewish couple are suing neighbours over motion sensors that turn on the lights in their communal stairwell, which they claim make it impossible for them to leave their flat during the sabbath.

Like many Orthodox Jews, Dena and Gordon Coleman will not use electricity between sundown on Friday and Saturday night, which they regard as a day of rest. But since the sensors were installed at Embassy Court in Bournemouth, the lights come on as soon as the Colemans set foot outside their front door — which they say makes them responsible for switching them on and therefore prohibits them from leaving the building.

The couple are suing their neighbours, saying that their human rights are being breached. If their claim is successful, the owners of the 35 flats in the seafront building will be liable to pay the couple’s costs as well as any damages. link

What Have We Here~Hamas Foils Attack on Carter?

This is being reported in Haaretz, and two other Israeli papers only, here and the original source here from Maariv which is a pro Israeli Hebrew paper I have translated in the link. I find this very odd, three Israeli papers, no where else, and Hamas seems to be denying this took place. Hmmmmm

Three things strike me, first, if it's true, this only serves to prove that Hamas is more than capable of governing Gaza. Move along, nothing to see here, all sorted.

If it is not true, then why is it being published, and published in only three Israeli papers, the later two taking it from the main source at Maariv,and repeating it. I also have to ask myself the question, when does Hamas do interviews with pro-Israeli Hebrew news papers? Probably never. Yet this paper is claiming confirmation from Hamas who are denying it took place. Again, Hmmmmm. Israelis may have published this to create riffs inside Palestine, between Hamas and others, that's my bet. And it also has the "added benefit" of placing a damper on what was a brilliant visit by Carter in order to give the very false impression that Gaza is unsafe for people like Carter to visit, which, is not true.

Thirdly, how convenient for Israel if this is true, and how convenient it happened at the Israeli border. Instead of insluting Hamas, if I were Israel I'd be wondering why I didn't know what was taking place on my own border. Again I say, Hmmmmmm So maybe Israel should be praising Hamas for doing what it could not, "if" this incident is even true.

Hamas has foiled an attempt by Palestinian militants to attack former U.S. president Jimmy Carter during his visit to the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian source told news agencies on Tuesday.

Now, if this story gets wings and begins to be used to attack Hamas or denigrate Carters visit to Gaza, then I'd have to ask why the story of the foiled bomb attempt on George Mitchell in Lebanon did not receive the same treatment. Time will tell.

According to the source, militants linked with Al-Qaida planted two roadside bombs at a border crossing between Gaza and Israel with the intent of striking Carter's vehicle on his way out of the coastal territory. Witnesses reported seeing Hamas forces patrolling near the Erez crossing and detonating the explosives.

Hamas Interior Ministry spokesman Ihab al-Rassin denied the reports, however, saying the group's forces had engaged in routine activity and had no information of an assassination attempt.

Associates of the former president said they had received briefing on the matter, but would not elaborate on the matter.

POLL Israelis Support Settlements

Whilst the headline of this article seems impressive, when you actually look at the numbers I see other things as well. Firstly 56% support the settlements and say Netanyahu should continue settlements. Ok, so that's that. But, 37% think they should stop settlements. That's close to 40% not a small number. Whilst 50% believe that Israel can keep building them with impunity, 32% say it is a "make or break" with the US Administration. Rather then take the gloom and doom of the 56% who support illegal settlements, what I see is that reality is sinking in over time. Let us remember that this poll was taken under an extreme right wing government no less. Meaning that, taking into account any margins of error, we could be within small numbers of a 50-50 divide of support for and against settlement building to continue.

I believe that if Obama continues to push hard as he is doing now, these numbers could change again in the not too distant future. Once the penny drops and they see the writing on the wall, that is. Obama has a lot of leverage at his disposal. I'm not just talking about cutting off funding to the leeches in Israel. Admittedly this would be difficult for Obama due to the AIPAC owned congress and senate. However, secret weapons exist: the US sits on the UN Security Council, Israel does not. For years the US has been the lackey for Israel, voting exactly like Israel wants it to. Imagine if that was up for negotiations..........the mind boggles:)

Most Israelis resist US colony freeze demand: poll

Occupied Jerusalem: A new poll finds that nearly six of every 10 Israelis think Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should resist US demands to completely freeze construction in Jewish West Bank colonies.

The poll by the Maagar Mohot Polling Institute released the poll Friday. President Barack Obama has said he wants to aggressively pursue Mideast peacemaking, and colony construction historically has been an impediment.

Fifty-six percent of those surveyed said Netanyahu should not consent to the American demand to halt all colony construction, as opposed to 37 percent who said he should. Fifty percent said failure to comply would not provoke a crisis with the US, while 32 percent said they thought the colony freeze was a "make or break" issue for Washington. link

With Iran’s elections tomorrow, Israel has done all it can to ensure another victory for Ahmadinejad.

Since last year Israel has continually war mongered for an attack on Iran. Knowing that a program of continued aggression towards Iran would promote hardliners.

Whenever a country is under constant threat, it does not move forward, it cannot “change” it’s progressive voice is crushed as the country closes ranks in an effort to protect itself from attack. George W. Bush knew this and used it to his advantage to get himself re-elected, using the Politics of Fear to do so. The "threat" level never went below Orange mostly, a dip to Yellow once in a while, but never ever to green. Got to keep the public fat, dumb, and scared shitless to win the election.

Using the politics of fear in an attempt to influence the Iranian elections, this is Israel’s game plan, and has been Israels game plan all along. I read somewhere that if Ahmadinejad did not exist, then Israel would have had to invent him. Yes, here is the quote, it was from Uri Avnery in April 2009.

The head of Israel's Department for Population at the Home Front Command Colonel Hilik Sofer said the extensive exercise would be conducted in less than two months on June 2. (Note the date?)

The senior Israeli official went on to acknowledge that in the event of a war Israel would have insufficient emergency and rescue response units ready.

"In wartime there will be insufficient Magen David Adom, rescue and chemical and biological warfare units. Even if we call up the reserves of the Home Front Command, we will have to rely on the population itself," Sofer told Haaretz.

"We need to train for a reality in which during war missiles can fall on any part of the country without warning," he said.

One of the missions of the nationwide military drill is to convince the public that in the event of a war the entire country would "become a front without warning".

Sofer said by holding the weeklong military exercise Israel seeks to "transform the population from a passive to an active one... We want the citizens to understand that war can happen tomorrow morning."

However, according to the Israeli official, the Home Front Command does not seek to scare anyone beyond a "healthy sense of fear". (What they really mean is a "Healthy Sense of Paranoia")

The official further stressed the need for Israeli residents to rely on themselves, explaining that the army would not be responsible for the evacuation of people even in areas most liable to be targeted.

Now, this article above is exceptional, not only do they go after Iran with more threats of a huge impending "war game", but at the same time, they create a massive panic, paranoia and fear among their own people. As Tel Aviv keeps on threatening Tehran with a 'military option', a report says Israel will open an embassy near the Iranian border in neighboring Turkmenistan.

Citing high-ranking officials in the Israeli Foreign Ministry, IzRus reported Monday that Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has personally struck a deal with Turkmen officials.

According to the report, an Israeli delegation is on its way to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan's capital, to find a 'suitable building' for an Israeli embassy. source

Here’s the “gaping Hole” in the logic. Now, given Israel claims it is so afraid of Iran attacking it's citizens, why then would they want to put their own people right next to the Iranian border, if not to provoke Iran. It’s not like there is a booming need for an embassy in Turkmenistan with thousands of eager Israeli tourists shouting for an embassy on the Iranian border. This is transparent. It's done to create more fear in Iranians wondering what Israel is up to, next to it's border.

So, ask yourself why the largest Israeli military war games to date were announced way back in April 2009, to commence on June 2nd 2009 a full three months later. I’ll tell you why, because they wanted to create three months of impending fear in Iran, to culminate just before Iran’s election, that’s why!

So today Israel is praying hard that their Poster Boy Ahmadinejad is re-elected. They’ve done all they can do now to stack the deck, short of an actual attack, that is. If Iranians re-elect Ahmadinejad the Israelis know it will be that much harder for Obama to push his middle east peace plan with a hardliner as opposed to Iran’s own “Obama” you can read about him here and here.

If, Ahmadinejad is not re-elected, the jig is up for Israel, it’s a game changer and they know it. So, let the rest of the world pray as well, let us pray that the Iranians see through Israel’s deadly game plan. I think they are smart and already see though this evil Israeli plan.

Tomorrow’s the day Israel may finally loose the battle to control the entire middle east. Tomorrow is the day that may spell the end of the Zionists entity’s power in the region. If Iran elects Mousavi it’s over for Israel, there will be a beginning of a new world alliance where Israel no longer can act with impunity.

Egyptian fired at after jumping over border into Gaza

GAZA, June 10 -- Egyptian security forces shot and wounded an Egyptian man after he jumped over border fence into the Gaza Strip Wednesday, witnesses and Palestinian medical sources said.

The witnesses said that the Egyptian border police spotted a man as soon as he jumped into the Palestinian side of the border and fired several gunshots, hitting him directly.

Mu'awia Hassanein, a Palestinian emergency official, said the young man was seriously injured. He identified the wounded as Salem Mubarak al-Sawarka, 28.

Al-Sawarka was taken to a Palestinian hospital in southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah.

In recent weeks, Egypt beefed up security measures along its borders with the Gaza Strip to stop smuggling of goods into the Israeli-blockaded coastal Strip.

Saudi FM: US aid to Israel should cease

Amidst frosty relations between Washington and Tel Aviv, the Saudi foreign minister says Washington should cut off its aid to Tel Aviv should it continue its occupation of Arab land.

In an interview with Newsweek magazine to be published on June 15, Prince Saud al-Faisal said that Washington would be held 'responsible' for Israel's actions if its unquestionable support for Tel Aviv continues.

"If you give aid to someone and they indiscriminately occupy other people's lands, you bear some responsibility."

Al-Faisal added that the US support was the main bargaining chip in the Middle East peace process and should be used to restore peace in the region.

"The United States has the means to persuade the Israelis to work for a peaceful settlement. It needs to tell them that if it is going to continue to help them, they must be reasonable and make reasonable concessions."

He said Arab states could only consider relations with Israel as an incentive, adding that the normalization of ties would not be realized unless Tel Aviv retreated from occupied land.

"If we put that [normalization] before the return of Arab land we are giving away the only bargaining chip in the hands of Arab countries," the foreign minister said.

936 Reasons Israel Is Quilty of War Crimes

PCHR prepares 936 lawsuits against Israel for war crimes in Gaza

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR), based in Gaza, stated that Palestinian lawyers have prepared 936 lawsuits against the Israeli army for committing war crimes against the Palestinians during the Israeli war on Gaza.

Some of the documented incidents are about children who were shot by the army at close range, entire families killed after being buried under the ruble of their homes, incidents regarding women burnt by Israel’s white phosphorus shells, and several other violations.

The Der Spiegel stated that the PCHR is trying to have the cases submitted to the National Court in Madrid.

The Israeli army and Israel’s leadership claim that the so-called internal investigation Israel carried out revealed that the army did not intentionally harm Palestinian civilians during the war which began on December 27, 2008, and ended in January 18, 2009. link
