ISRAEL PLANNING WAR AND OBAMA RUNS FOR RE-ELECTION

I think even those most supportive Obama-bots surely must now be wondering what happened to their bringer of “hope and change.” As the Kool-Aid wears off, and reality sets in, I think we can all see what is taking place in the Whitehouse.

Obama began with such high hopes. Not only in America, but around the world. And that second statement is the one that will cause America even more problems. Giving false hope to a world weary of manufactured phoney wars on terror is one thing. But, giving hope to Muslims around the world who have been demonized for the last 10 years is quite another. They won’t be so easily forgiving, nor will they hold any trust whatsoever that America can ever change it’s neocon warring ways.

Obama started with a small amount of intestinal fortitude by making a somewhat hard-line stance towards Israel’s aggression, settlements and refusal to make peace. And whilst this lasted for a no more than 2 months. Soon after, the first sign of trouble emerged. From the AIPAC Zionist take down of Charles Freeman, to the AIPAC spy scandal involving Jane Harman and Nancy Pelosi, among others, we have seen a steady and rapid descent in any criticism of Israel. Then came the Goldstone report, where America once again embarrassed itself to the world, by not only arm twisting other nations to help smear a well respected Jewish man, Richard Goldstone and his report. Then there was the not so surprising, no hope, no change, vote in the American congress to reject and condemn the Goldstone report. The vote? 344 to 36. Now if that is not a clear illustration of the strangle hold the Zionist lobby has on American politicians, I don’t know what is. One wonders if those 36 who dared to be outside the fold stand a snowballs chance in Hell of being re-elected. They will be on the AIPAC hit list now. Free thinkers who work for America are not allowed to operate within American government. The fact that a once democratic country, is now run by a foreign presence, speaks volumes for the future of Americans and America itself.

Clearly the same people who were pushing the “agenda” under the Bush years, are still at the controls, just working for a prettier smiling more eloquent face now. We have not seen a rollback of the Bush Agenda and war against Islam and Muslims. In fact we have seen not only a continuation, but resurgence. The continued allowing of Israel to act with impunity, the supporting of ethnic cleansing of Jerusalem and all other lands Israel has on its list, the support for war criminals over International Law is startling enough from this “man of hope and change.” But even that is small in comparison to the over all world picture. The meddling in Iran’s elections, the continued involvement in attempting a colourful overthrow of Iran’s democratically elected government is frightening. The world was outraged and shocked when Bush stole the election from Al Gore, yet the world never began a campaign to overthrow Bush, or invade America if it did not hand over the Presidency to Gore. Why is this justified for Iran? American duplicity once again.

And what of Obamas continued push for war, not only directed at Iran (at Israelis behest) what happened to the man who said he would talk to America’s enemies without any preconditions? And now we have Yemen. Add that to Afghanistan, Iraq and the soon to be re-invasion of Gaza by Israel with American support and assistance.

The picture is clear, the Egyptian wall, the unrelenting siege, the war games Israel is playing now getting ready for a new invasion to this time occupy Gaza and hand it over to those who work with Israel, Mr, Abbas and his corrupt American puppet government under General Dayton, a man appointed by Bush and kept there by Obama. And this upcoming invasion into Gaza, what else is it? Why a good practice run for a possible upcoming war on Iran. Practice makes perfect you know. Never mind how many Muslims are murdered.

Today I see a very bleak picture. With Obama’s approval ratings in the basement and heading for somewhere underground. No chance of him standing up to Israel or the war mongers within America, not if he wants to have even a remote chance of re-election. All those cross over voters, Republican lites and independents, won’t be voting for him again. And what of the Democrats themselves? No harmony there either, judging from the fiasco of Obama’s healthcare package war and ultimate watered down approval.

Obama is now running for re-election. He’s got to morph into George W. now if he stands any chance of being more than a one term President. With Clinton and other right of centre Dems on his coattails and the Repugs foaming at the mouth, this is what will shape the path of Obama’s decision making now.

Obama’s biggest mistake was not focusing on the middle east and standing up to Israel early on, forcing them to do the deed and make peace early enough in his term as President, so he’d have enough time to recover from the Zionist AIPAC fallout and then use the Peace Deal as a victory and proof of his election promises to then focus on his next run for election. Obama has left it far too late for this term in office. Now any peace deal can only be one that Israel wants, no matter how badly the result is for Palestinians. We are witnessing Obama’s desperate attempt to save his own arse, at any cost.

Racist Zionist Dating Police "No Arabs Allowed"

Whilst the proliferation of ultra-orthodox "vigilante police" is a stain on Israeli society, their Taliban-esque actions can at least be contextualised as the inevitable consequence of religious fundamentalism gone wild. Such communities are dominated by leaders who refuse to accommodate any form of modernisation or freedom of thought into their archaic systems of governance, and the emergence of "modesty squads" is simply a manifestation of such primitive and patriarchal thinking.

Regardless of the reasons behind their appearance, the groups should not be tolerated by Israel's leaders, as they contravene the most basic human rights of the state's citizens. Israeli lawmakers have a duty to clamp down hard on the mobs' extrajudicial activities, in order to prevent a localised problem spreading from isolated religious strongholds into the rest of the country's towns and cities.

Yet the ultra-orthodox enforcers have good reason to challenge any efforts to rein in their sheriff's posses, given that the example set by several Israeli municipalities implies that what is sauce for the religious goose is sauce for the secular gander. While the local authorities in Petah Tikva, Kiryat Gat and elsewhere aren't sanctioning all-out violence against girls deemed behaving inappropriately, their modus operandi is no different in intent – and the targets of their self-righteous rage no more deserving of punishment – than the girls in Meah Shearim opting out of the ultra-restrictive dress code.

According to reports in the Israeli press:

A special team in the youth department of the Petah Tikva municipality will locate [Jewish] girls in the habit of meeting with men from minorities and will assist them … 'The problem of minority men is well-known,' said the chief of the youth department, Moshe Spektor. 'Our attempts to deal with this problem are real and sincere. The municipality is making an effort to examine the matter in co-operation with the police'.

Of course, the minority in question is the Arab community – rather than any of the Jewish minorities in Israel such as those hailing from Ethiopia, Russia or South America – since it is the spectre of intermarriage between Jews and gentiles which is the cause of such abject fear among diehard Israeli nationalists, both religious and secular alike. As reported in Ha'aretz, Kiryat Gat's state-sanctioned anti-miscegenation programme's sole aim is preventing Jewish girls from becoming romantically involved with Israeli Bedouin:

The programme enjoys the support of the municipality and the police, and is headed by Kiryat Gat's welfare representative, who goes to schools to warn girls of the "exploitative Arabs". The programme uses a video entitled "Sleeping with the Enemy," which features a local police officer and a woman from the Anti-Assimilation Department, a wing of the religious organisation Yad L'ahim, which works to prevent Jewish girls from dating Muslim men.

Many Jews in Israel and the diaspora frown upon the idea of their children marrying out of the flock, some even going as far as cutting their children out of their wills and mourning them as though they had died should they take a non-Jewish partner for a spouse. While this is by no means restricted to the Jewish faith, the idea of such proscriptions being incorporated at state level – whether against Jews, Muslims or any other category of "undesirables" – is racism reminiscent of the dark days of segregationist America and pre-enlightened European states.

This week, the Times carried an illustrative and disturbing feature on the Israeli phenomenon, demonstrating the unabashed bigotry of those behind the purity patrols:

[David's] group, which works with police, goes by several names, including Fire for Judaism, is composed of up to 45 men and funded by private donations. Members say they are fighting a 'growing epidemic' of Arab-Jewish dating and spend as many hours as they can on patrol.

Similar groups have formed across the country ... In Pisgat Ze'ev, the growing number of Arab-Jewish couples is seen as the result of more Jewish settlements in Arab east Jerusalem.

'The problem is always with Jewish girls dating Arab men. The Arab guy comes and buys them things, treats them well. They fall for it. They can't see what they are doing,' says David.

The article goes on to describe a car chase, which ensues after David spots a "problem couple" driving in a car full of Arab men. He follows them through winding mountain roads, before taking down the car's number plate and reporting the incident to police.

That the police would even deign to co-operate with such poisonous and prejudiced characters and their fantasies of racial purity is indicative of the malaise gripping certain sectors of Israeli society, both at street and state level.

Whatever the more blinkered supporters of Israel's sectarianism say, day after day more evidence piles up attesting to the shocking reality behind Israel's mask of being a tolerant, equitable and democratic "country of all its citizens". The likes of the modesty patrols and the anti-miscegenation squads belong in the furthest recesses of history, yet apparently the Israeli authorities are not only happy to tolerate their presence, but to actively support their work as well.

Were the shoe to be on the other foot, with Jews singled out for such base racial discrimination, the same people supporting such behaviour now against Arabs would rightly be up in arms and demanding justice in the name of the persecuted. But, of course, this is Israel, and therefore somehow "different" and "unique" – the standard retorts of those unable to defend Israeli crimes with any semblance of rational debate. And while they continue banging their drums to drown out any criticism of the Israeli state, at ground level the divisive and destructive behaviour continues, and another nail is driven into the coffin of coexistence in the Holy Land. source

UNDERSTANDING~ Osama, Obama & Israel......

Osama, Obama and Israel, Change the Gameplan

I have been planning on writing about how the majority of the world views America and how Muslims view America in particular. And to explain how America can change this, IF it wanted to. So given that Osama Bin Laden just made a statement to America today, this is a good time to make my post. Ok, did you ever think the day would come when Osama Bin Laden would make a good point? Now, to be clear, I am NO supporter of Bin Laden, don't like him or his politics, he actually has no real politics or agenda, he likes to capitalise on situations and use them, and he harms his own people. He is not a true revolutionary or freedom fighter. Having said that, even people like Bin Laden get it right once in a while. Today he's told the truth, albeit for his own recruitment agenda, in this recent statement regarding America's relationship with Israel. Let’s break it down and understand:

Yes, America's blind support of anything Israel does is truly causing much Anti-American sentiment in the world. After all, America cannot claim to be the world's greatest "Democracy" if they don't lead by example. By that I am referring to actually supporting Democracy in all countries. But America does not do this, instead, America is selective. By supporting some democratic elections and not others. Additionally, America attempts to covertly overthrow Governments it does not like, tamper with elections and most of all refuses to recognise democratically elected governments such as Hamas and others. America will not treat the Afghan elections the same as the Iranian elections which they “claim” were rigged. Where’s the outrage, where’s the threats, where’s the diplomatic boycott of Afghanistan? Where’s the “sanctions”??? Nowhere, because both candidates were American puppets, one just cheated the other, so that’s alright, either way America wins. As opposed to Iran’s elections where America covertly infiltrated and controlled the opposition which ended up causing innocent people to die in the streets. But who cares, it’s only dead Iranians that were used by America. When you combine this with America’s total blind support for Israel in all areas including the building of illegal settlements on Palestinian land, and illegal use of American supplied weapons to murder civilians. Then what view of America do you think the majority of Arabas/Muslims in this world have? I am not talking about the “Uncle Tom” Americanized Muslims that Obama likes to parade across your television screens ad nauseam. I am talking about the regular rank and file Arab/Muslims of this world. They see America as being an Anti-Muslim, Anti-Islamic country with racial and ethnically religious overtones.

So here’s what America needs to learn if it is EVER to change anything. Understand this: Truth is that most Muslims in the world would NOT support Osama Bin Laden, nor would they “join” Al Qaeda”, nor would they want “Al Qaeda” to govern them or control them or take over their towns, cities and countries. However, that is completely different than turning a blind eye to Bin Laden when he slams America or attacks an American compound or American soldiers on Arab land. The reason for this is simple, what do Muslims see? They see the web filled with really vile neo-con websites spouting hatred, calling all Muslims terrorists, calling their religion a terrorist religion. They see American boots on Arab land; they see Israel acting with impunity over and over again. They see America coming down hard on Arab countries that may not be adhering to one or two UN resolutions, whilst totally ignoring the 62 resolutions Israel has broken and continues to break for years on end. They see Israel being allowed to have Nuclear weapons and Iran being told it cannot, this when Iran has signed up to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and guess what? Israel has NOT! They never see Israel punished for its aggression, its war crimes, its murders, its apartheid actions, it’s burning of Palestinian land, and it’s stealing of land, its military raids into Palestine and Lebanon again and again. In short they see America’s duplicity!!!

Instead, when Lebanon or Palestine manages to get a tiny little rocket off, America supports the annihilation of Lebanese and Palestinians using the most cutting edge weapons of mass destruction, usually delivered by un-manned drones. They see Arabs fighting with Stone Age weapons against a nuclear armed Religious state (Israel) with endless state of the art weaponry. Just who is occupying whose land? Why, Israel is occupying Palestinian land and Lebanese land it stole! Yet those under attack from Israel, who are occupied by Israel illegally, are expected to just sit there and welcome Israel to take more? Is this equal, is this a fair fight? Using this Israeli/American logic, should someone throw a stone at me, I should be able to then shoot him with a tank.

So how can America stop the downward spiral? Simple answer? “Equality” Treat Arabs equal to Israelis. Bring sanctions on ALL countries who do not obey UN resolutions that includes Israel, not just Iran! Begin to show Muslims that they are respected and seen as vibrant multi faceted human beings, with conservative Muslims and Liberal Muslims and all in between Muslims, just like everyone else and that they are not hated. Treat Islam as a religion, which it is, instead of continually sending the Bush message of combining Islam with terrorism. I find it quite funny that America has no problems with supporting “Zionism” which is not a religion but a nationalist neo-con racist movement, whereas Judaism and Islamism are religions, yet America demonises Islam and praises Zionism, go figure………

Lastly, to put this into a simple perspective. In Ireland, during the height of our conflict or war, which ever you want to call it. You could compare much with the Palestinian/Israel conflict/war. Irish Catholic people, the rank and file everyday people, saw over and over again the British Government oppressing, murdering and interning the Irish with impunity. Forcing at gunpoint, our people to live like 2nd class citizens on our own soil. Funding terrorist groups to seek us out and murder our political leaders. Shooting us when we had peaceful marches. Stealing our land and giving it to planters, creating great Irish slum areas that were tantamount to giant refugee camps instead of neighbourhoods. Burning our churches and attacking our religion. Even Irish-Catholics who had long left the religion suddenly became proud of being a Catholic, the religion became important, it became a sign, a banner. If you attempt to attack a religion then people close ranks around it and become more extreme in protecting it. In Ireland being a Catholic ceased to be a religion and then become a Nationalist rallying cause for equality. Which in turn then united ALL Catholics, even the ones who never before were religious. It became about our “identity” If that makes sense. This is exactly what America is creating now with Muslims.

So, when the IRA began to fight back against the British on our soil, the regular folks turned a blind eye. Maybe they did not actually join the IRA, maybe they would never take up the fight by hand, but they certainly looked the other way because someone was fighting against the oppressors of equality and freedom. We have an expression here, it goes like this; “Even the dogs on the street knew” but they never told……….This is what America can change with regards to Al Qaeda and the So called “War On Terror” (I HATE that phrase) but until America proves by its actions that it is truly the greatest Democracy in the world, and that it truly supports equality by treating Israel the same as Iran or any other country. Only then will America start to win the battle of the Hearts and Minds of the everyday rank and file of this world. Until then, people like Bin Laden will continue to use America’s biggest weakness, its world view and double standards, to recruit young people who have witnessed the horrors of what America and Israel can do in this world. Al Qaeda cannot function if America changes the opinions of the Majority of Arabs/Muslims and others in this world, it is the only way to kill off Bin Laden, take away his power, and his power is American Double Standards!

What Motivates the Zionists "Israel, Palestine or Money"

No outcry from Israeli officials over the monumental civilian deaths they caused, no anger over the innocent Palestinian children they killed, no outrage over the thousands of illegal home evictions, no outcry over the millions in refugee camps, no outcry over punishing an entire population, no outcry over the illegal use of white phosphorous and DIME missiles, no outcry over the settlers burning acres of Palestinian land, no outrage over separating entire families for generations, no outcry over racist messages scrawled inside Palestinian homes in Gaza, no outrage over people dying every day because they can’t get to a proper hospital, no outrage over the children who are orphaned, no outrage over Israel’s refusal to make peace.

So what motivates them? HINT "You can find it in your wallet"

What gets them angry? Money! Yup folks, the racist regime of Netanyahu and Lieberman have created a new way of processing tourist visas who plan on visiting the Holy sites. Heads up Religious tourists don’t be saving your pennies to make a Christian pilgrimage to the Middle East thinking you can see all your favourite holy sites. Now you must choose “which” holy sites you want to see, the ones in Israel, or the ones in Palestine.

And this, this is what has the Israeli Tourist Ministry upset. Because they see your “tourist” dollars waving “Bye Bye” In Israel, "Money Trumps Loyalty" or in other words, there is "No Honour Among Thieves or Bigots" Perhaps if America cut off the money flow we'd all see peace in our lifetime.......

New visa restrictions spark row in Israel

JERUSALEM — Israel's tourism ministry on Monday slammed the interior ministry for enacting new restrictions that would prevent foreigners from visiting both Israel and the Palestinian territories.

The measure, which was quietly enacted earlier this year, forces arriving visitors to choose between a visa for Israel and one for the Palestinian territories, potentially preventing them from travelling to both.

"This decision taken by the interior ministry causes significant damage to Israel's image and to incoming tourism for those tourists who visit the holy sites in the Palestinian Authority," the tourism ministry said in a statement.

It demanded that the matter be discussed in the Knesset, or parliament, which is currently on summer recess.

A spokeswoman for the interior ministry would not immediately comment.

The US consulate in Jerusalem has posted a message on its website informing travellers of the new visa stamp being issued at Ben Gurion Airport and the Allenby crossing with Jordan that permits travel only in the West Bank.

"Anyone indicating that they either have connections to the West Bank or are planning to travel to the West Bank may get this stamp, which does not permit them to enter into (or, in the case of Ben Gurion, return to) green-line Israel," it says.

"The consulate can do nothing to assist in getting this visa status changed; only Israeli liaison offices in the West Bank can assist -- but they rarely will.

Travellers should be alert, and pay attention to which stamp they receive upon entry."

Millions of tourists and religious pilgrims flock to Middle East holy sites each year, visiting the Old City in the Israeli-occupied part of east Jerusalem -- which Israel claims as part of its capital -- and sites in the Palestinian towns of Bethlehem and Jericho in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.

The new restrictions would also create obstacles for foreigners working in the West Bank and for Palestinians with dual citizenship who wish to visit relatives in Israel and the occupied territories. source

US Should Not Tell Jews In Israel Where To Live

In prep for his run in 2012, Christian Zionist and Islamophobic Right Wingnut Neocon Mike Huckabee is visiting Israel. How nice. Meeting with fellow racists and bigots, he must feel quite "at home." A greatful servant, always willing to please his Masters, he does not disappoint "U.S. shouldn't tell Jews where in Israel to live." So, I think we can all deduce from this statement what a Republican Presidency would bring.....War, War, War and more War, all for Israel. How many more American lives will be lost for a foreign Rogue State?

Republican Mike Huckabee, who sought his party's presidential nomination last year but lost to John McCain, said Monday that the U.S. has taken too harsh a stance against Israel on the issue of settlements.

The U.S. should not "be telling Jewish people in Israel where they should and should not live," Huckabee said while visiting Jewish enclaves in East Jerusalem.

The former Arkansas governor, who arrived in Israel Sunday as the guest of several rightist organizations, will be joined at the hotel dinner by over a hundred guests, including prominent Jewish and Republican activists from the United States.

The Obama administration has objected to Israeli plans for construction at the hotel, located in the heart of a Palestinian neighborhood.

Huckabee, considered to be on the right flank of his party and seen as an early front-runner to win the party's presidential nomination in 2012, is openly critical of U.S. President Barack Obama's policy toward Israel, including the demand for a freeze on Jewish construction in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. linky link

Remember Hitler and the Aryan nation Master Race? Well, there’s not much difference between this:

Available this week on Shalom TV, the panel discussion features Dr. Steven Bayme, director of the Contemporary Jewish Life Department of the American Jewish Committee, citing the dangerous change in Jewish cultural thinking about intermarriage.

"Intermarriage is a major challenge to American Jewish life, -snip- Dr. Steven Cohen,"I find too many doves on intermarriage refuse to accept what I would call a 'realistic analysis' of its effects.”

A leading expert in American Jewish demography, Dr. Cohen decries as "horrible" the low percentage of Jews who descend from intermarriages, pointing out that only "thirteen percent of grandchildren of intermarried Jews are, by any stretch of the imagination, Jewish. There you go folks, an actual admission right there of the power these people hold over America and how worried they are about loosing it!! They will actually stoop so low as to make a television show, geared to the American Jewish audience, to impress upon Jews in America NOT to marry a non-Jew because it will harm the Jewish state when American Jews no longer hold huge power over the American government. - Ms. Ehrenberg states “you have a recipe for disaster“ Did you get that ? The US State Department does not list US citizens born in Jerusalem as having been born in Israel. Not to take this laying down, of course the Zionists began a legal challenge, as they do, with everything, but Hey Ho, the D.C. Court of Appeals said, sorry, you loose:

U.S. citizens born in Jerusalem have birth certificates which note the city of birth, not the country. A law was passed requiring the State Dept. to list the country, Israel. However, the State Dept. will not do so. U.S. citizens sued for a correction. The D.C. Iran is the problem, not Israeli settlements: US lawmaker

Senior US Republican Congressman Eric Cantor said on Thursday that the world should stop pressuring Israel over settlements and concentrate instead on the threat from a nuclear Iran.

Cantor, Republican Whip in the House of Representatives, said the main obstacle to Middle East peace is the Palestinian refusal to recognise Israel as a Jewish state and not the Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

"I don't quite know what is driving the focus on the issue of settlements," he told Israeli public radio. AFP

Cantor has "utilized his ties" to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which he became involved with "10 years ago as a member of the Virginia Legislature," and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) as part of his fundraising "outreach." "He has since cultivated those ties during his political ascendancy over the past decade and used them to build the foundation of his national fundraising network," sourcewatch

Jews to reclaim land in Jordan

The Israel Land Fund, a group dedicated to restoring Jewish property in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, is reportedly looking east. According to AFP, the organization plans to begin buying historically Jewish properties in Jordan as well.

Many Jews purchased land in what is now Jordan during the British Mandate, when such land was seen primarily as part of the greater land of Israel. In 1946 Jordan declared independence as an Arab, Muslim country. Two years later, the state of Israel declared independence and Jordan’s rulers confiscated Jewish-owned land in their own country for state use.

Israel Land Fund chairman Aryeh King told AFP that his organization has proof that thousands of properties in present-day Jordan were historically Jewish, adding, “We have records of the ownership.”

The plan is in its early stages, and no properties in Jordan have been bought to date. Purchasing would likely take place with the help of Jews in Europe, King said, as Israelis are prohibited from buying land in Jordan under Jordanian law.

The same Jordanian law is enforced by the Palestinian Authority, which views the sale of land to Jews or Israelis as a capital offence. The Land Fund manages to circumvent PA law by buying land through middlemen. In many cases, the group also helps Arab sellers to flee the country to avoid PA retribution.

Jewish properties bought or reclaimed by the Israel Land Fund in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria are guarded and used to build homes for Jewish activists. It was not clear what would be done with property reclaimed in Jordan.

AFP noted that if the plan were to succeed, it could cause anger in Jordan, where anti-Israel sentiment runs high despite a 1994 peace treaty.

Israeli far right factions have staged a rally in Jerusalem against US President Barack Obama amid growing signs of dissension between the two allies.

Nearly 1,500 people held a demonstration at a Jerusalem (al-Quds) square on Monday evening to protest the policy adopted by the Obama administration in dealing with Israel, the Israeli Channel 7 reported Tuesday.

The event was organized by several right-wing groups including the institution representing West Bank Jewish settlers as well as ultranationalist organizations and the Yesha Council of Jewish Communities.

The anti-Obama rally was supported by the right-wing parties including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, Knesset (Israeli parliament) Members, rabbis and other public officials.

Addressing US President Barack Obama directly, former Knesset member Rabbi Eliezer Waldman said, "You are a racist! How dare you tell Jews that they can't live in this place or in that location? We're finished with such periods in our history!"

The demonstrators also chanted slogans like "Yes to Israeli independence, no to American dictates!"

The protests came as the US and Israel remain at odds over the issue of Jewish settlements built on territories occupied in the 1967 war.

While Washington calls for a complete freeze in the construction of settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, Tel Aviv is seeking to continue settlement activities "to meet demands caused by natural growth."

Israel had earlier promised to stop such activities but Likud and its right wing allies are reluctant to abide by the regime's previous commitments. source

The US-based advocacy group has officially partnered with the digital media powerhouse in an effort to combat hate speech and other forms of abuse.

I found this article about Al Franken and the number of Jews in the American Republican Party, but that’s not the REAL story. The real story was missed, except for one sharp unknown person who made a comment.

I spend a lot of time on this blog bashing America due to the blind support of Israel and the utter lack of assistance to suffering Palestinians who were collectively punished for whom they voted for in a democratic election. How Ironic! However, today I’m going to pay a compliment, not to the American government, but to an unknown person who commented on the story below from Forward.

You see, not everyone can be fooled, not everyone is happy with AIPAC and the ADL and Zionists controlling so much of the American Government and its foreign policy and its politicians. So when I found this article I was actually going to write my own comments about this article from Forward, but this unknown poster took the words right outta my mouth. One little-noticed effect of Al Franken's official installation in the Senate: Republicans now lack a Jewish senator for the first time in more than 50 years. Norm Coleman, whom Franken defeated, is Jewish, as is Sen. Arlen Specter, who recently left the GOP to run for re-election as a Democrat.

In a HAMAS statement, reported in Maan news today Sami Abu Zuhri said this: "We will have our rights and not bow to "Quartet conditions" Gazans have the right to continue resisting a violent Israeli siege and occupation, and they have the right to be represented by the party they democratically elected.” he continued; “They [the Quartet] have several options around how they want to deal with our position.”

He also said; “The international position on connecting reconstruction to national reconciliation is a violation of the human rights of Gazans” and “It is our right to fight against oppression and continue resistance, and it is the right of our citizens to rebuild after Israel destroyed homes and businesses.” The issue of national reconciliation is of a separate nature, and Gazans should not be punished for a slow reconciliation process.”

“I call on the international and Arab communities to push for an end to the blockade, and stop being manipulated by Israeli policy.”

Clearly we can now see the pattern emerging for what the "Un-Holy Three" consisting of Israel, England and the USA plan for the Middle East. To destabilise democratically elected governments in Gaza and Iran. And at the same time reap the benefits of Israel’s long term infiltration into Lebanon against Hezbollah.

From 2009 onwards, No amount of resistance to Israel will be allowed to exist any more, the “Un-Holy Three” will see to that soon enough. What is taking place on a grand scale is a situation being created where groups who resist the Zionist State are one by one being picked off using touts and spies, election meddling, threat of force, or marginalization of democratically elected governments.

Israel has been infiltrating into Lebanese politics and the Lebanese resistance movement for some time now in preparation for the overall US led strategy that appears to be culminating now after the failed attempt at an overthrow of the Iranian government.

Since the Elections, we have clearly seen a “change” in both tone and substance from Obama. Although he is perfect at making himself appear as not involved in the rhetoric. However, he depends on his many sock puppets to set the tone for him. So we see Biden, Col. Mullen, Israel and Britain creating the flow of news surrounding the current Iran situation. Clearly the hand that was once offered to Ahmadinejad a year before Obama’s arrival to the Whitehouse, either never was truly extended, or is no longer extended. I tend to believe after what I’ve just witnessed in Iran, that the hand was never really extended. Just another political stunt by the master of them all, Mr. Obama. For why then would Obama have offered that hand a year ago when Ahmadinejad was doing all sorts of things that created outrage in both Israel and the US, yet now when it is time to implement Obama’s campaign words, he uses the Iranian election (America was involved in destabilizing) as an excuse to not follow through.

I think Obama has to create some “success” stories very fast, otherwise he risks loosing his “Messiah” glow, as people begin to wise up to the game plan. The “success” story he will create will be what he will call “Middle East Peace” but it will be “Obama Style.” You see, Obama cannot quickly change the American economy, nor can he quickly create jobs or save peoples homes from being re-possessed. But, what he CAN do quickly (with the assistance the two members of the "Un-Holy Three") is to create a "Middle East Obama Style Peace” to deflect from the problems he cannot resolve inside America. Yes, I can see it now, the media hailing the Chief for bringing peace to the land, the "Messiah" has landed, and he will save us all.

America needs a military victory; they need to win a war, ANY war against “so called” terrorists. Look at the miserable failures in Iraq and Afghanistan, and let’s add Pakistan and North Korea into the mix. Those situations are not so easily controlled nor resolved. How many times have we heard the Americans say that the Iraq war was finally won? Even now, we hear of great victories, followed soon afterwards with another strike on American forces. America needs to "win one"

So, Obama needs a great victory, a stellar win for himself and America. One he can claim as his own. That "win" will be the resolution of the Israeli-Palestine conflict. However, it will be, as always, done in the grand “Obama Style” of smoke and mirrors, cheating and slight of hand. Using Israel and England along with weak Arab states willing to sell out their brothers and sisters for shiny gifts from America, Israel and England.

Who will pay for this so called "win"? Palestinians, as always. The plan will be to dismantle the HAMAS democratically elected government and replace them with corrupt Israeli agents from FATAH.

Take a look at Lebanon; the scale of infestation and infiltration by Israeli spies and touts is stunning. This has effectively removed Hezbollah from the political scene. But the meddling won’t stop the root problem of the Zionists returning stolen Lebanese land. And, it won’t erase from the memory of all the refugees in Lebanon who sit for generations in those horrid camps, unable to return home. It won’t make many Lebanese forget the Golan Heights either. What it will do is create a short time of “so called” peace through force and coercion, where Obama can sing the praises of his "holiness" to the world. Whilst this takes place, the pot of unrest will be simmering, until it reaches a boil once again, and a new resistance group springs up yet again against the West and Israel. Will America EVER learn??

This scenario will replicate itself in Palestine as well. Not every Palestinian will be overjoyed simply to have “Obama Peace” come to what is left of their land. In Ireland we say this; “Peace is not simply the absence of violence” and that is true. Peace is much more than that. True peace is controlling your own destiny, without outside interference or military control.

I find what Obama is doing a real shame. This is tantamount to what Bush did after 9-11. After 9-11, for the first time in a great many years, America had the goodwill and support of many nations around the world. I doubt Americans saw the scenes from Iran which we in Europe saw. Thousands of Iranians taking to the streets, in tears for all the Americans killed in the twin towers. Veiled women, wearing makeup, whose tears and makeup were streaming down their faces. And what was the relationship with Iran in 2001? Yet this was the Iranian reaction to 9-11. Explain that one Obama. Same thing in Palestine as was in Iran, I know because I witnessed it.

Instead of Bush viewing this as a new turning point for Middle East and world wide relationships, he instead only saw only the military option to capitalise on this sentiment to amass his “war on terror” which was not really against Bin Laden, but was more about making huge amounts of money and progressing the Zionist agenda.

So, after the world witnessing 8 years of Bush worldwide terror, we see a fresh shining face emerge in Obama. Marketed as everything to everyone, the saviour, the man who was 100% against the war. (Mind you he was speaking at an anti-war rally, so what else would he have said LOL) So the “Messiah of Hope” had arrived for the hungry and huddled masses wanting “change”

Obama’s problem is that he and his creators, have now made millions worldwide “believe” his rhetoric, and to have “hope.” Regardless of what the American press and blogosphere who work for Obama may write about his coming years. The truth is that the world will judge him, we are judging him right now, and we don’t like what we see.

Remember this; When you create this massive aura around Obama, build him up to God-like status in the media and online, when you instill feelings in people who lost all hope for fairness and justice in this world, to believe real change can actually take place, when they begin to allow themselves to actually believe, and to replace hopelessness with hope. Then only to find they have been duped in the most cruelest of ways, what then Obama? Charm can't last forever.

When the worldwide masses begin to realise they were tricked by American politicians once again, it won’t be a pretty picture for America. Because what we are seeing is a carry on of Bush policies, delivered by a smiling face, a fellow just like you, who eats cheeseburgers and plays basketball. Bush’s policies and agenda are just delivered in a different and more internet friendly and media savvy way. What you end up ultimately creating is an even worse scenario than that of Bush. At least people knew what Bush was about. Obama, on the other hand, has only cemented and proven what most people believed about America before Obama gave them false hope. First, President Obama in effect ended the U.S. alliance with Israel.

(And need we say it’s about friggin time! Yes, Oh Tiny Zionist Man, Israel has cost America billions and has single handedly created the main reason for Anti-American sentiment worldwide. So yeah, time to cut the apron strings, sink or swim on your own.)

Second, he derided the basis for Zionism and dismissed Israel’s need for national security.

He denies that the Islamists want to wipe out Israel and assures us that they can work things out. He feels that the U.S. can accomplish curbing Israel rather than the terrorists.

(Israel is the problem, not Iran, Lebanon or Palestine. He just hates that people have woken up to the evil land grabbing, land colonizing, racist apartheid rogue state called Israel.)

So third, he is having envoy Mitchell set up in Jerusalem a headquarters for U.S. counterparts to every Israeli security executive. The purpose is to second-guess the Israelis and to subvert them, as a colonial power does to natives. This includes citing U.S. reports minimizing Israeli security needs.

Imagine Israel complaining about some other “colonial power” country interfering, and then referring to “Poor little Israel” as the “natives” Three Words POT-KETTLE-BLACK. This statement he makes stands in stark contrast to the truth which is that the Palestinians are the natives and Israel is the “colonial Power” interfering in their country. Like I said, total comedy, but nice “hasbara” attempt.)

PM Netanyahu is not expected to tell the U.S. officials to back off. How will he handle this unwanted U.S. interference in behalf of Israel’s enemies? So far, Netanyahu has tried talking with Mitchell for hours. But the U.S. is adamant. Netanyahu is wasting valuable time. Netanyahu has to extricate himself from the Obama-Mitchell trap.

In addition to demanding that Israel give up the strategic mountain provinces of Judea and Samaria, plus Gaza Strip, U.S. envoy Mitchell demands that Israel cede the strategic Golan Heights. He depicts this as part of peace-making

The U.S. would strip Israel of strategic borders past which the Arabs repeatedly launched attacks on Israel. It would give those regions, some of which now are parts of the State of Israel, to Arabs who still want to destroy what would be left of Jewish sovereignty. That is not peace-making. It invites war by boosting the prospects of victory, irresistible to jihadists.

Pro-Israel Lobby Alarmed by Growth of Boycott, Divestment Movement

The movement to call Israel to account for its crimes against the Palestinian people is growing, it is "invading the mainstream discourse, becoming part of the constant and unrelenting drumbeat against Israel." It could eventually threaten the existence of the Jewish state by undermining the support it receives from its strongest backer, the U. S. government.

That was the message of alarm delivered by the Executive Director of the American Israel American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Howard Kohr, to the AIPAC Policy Conference on May 3.[i]

Here are just a few tiny examples:

Veolia: a major victory for the corporate boycott campaign

European solidarity activists have waged a particularly effective campaign against the French multinationals Veolia and Alstom. These companies are part of a consortium that is building a light railway connecting occupied Jerusalem to Israeli settlements in the West Bank, reinforcing Israel's hold on Palestinian land.

In the U.K., the Palestine Solidarity Campaign conducted an active petition campaign against Veolia's attempt to win a 25-year waste collection and recycling contract worth £1 billion ($1.6 billion) with the Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. On March 16 the council announced that Veolia had failed to qualify for the shortlist of three companies that would be invited to bid on the contract.

Also in March, the Swedish national pension fund AP7 announced that it was removing Alstom from its investment portfolio. Activists in Sweden had organized a public education campaign for divestment. The pension fund specifically cited the Jerusalem rail project as the reason it had blacklisted the company.[xiii]

The following month the Urban Community of Bordeaux cancelled its contract, worth 750 million euros ($1.0 billion), with Veolia. Although the French municipality cited commercial factors, the cancellation came in the wake of a major controversy over Veolia's involvement in the Jerusalem project. The Galway City Council in Ireland and the Stockholm Community Council in Sweden both recently decided not to renew their contracts with Veolia.[xiv]

Proud to be Irish

Finally, the pressure became too much for Veolia. On June 9 the Israeli daily Haaretz reported that the company was abandoning the Jerusalem project. The paper described the company's decision as a "body blow" to the project, noting that "the French firm had been losing major projects in Europe because of its involvement in the Jerusalem job. Observers claim that's the real reason Veolia opted out."[xv]

This marks the first major victory of the corporate boycott campaign. Veolia was forced to divest from the Jerusalem project as a result of a targeted and sustained campaign in various countries, coordinated internationally with the help of the Palestinian BDS National Committee. The victory demonstrates how such campaigns can produce tangible victories. It is likely to spur supporters of Palestine to increase their efforts to force corporations to sever their ties with Israel.

COSATU and the Palestine Solidarity Committee reaffirmed their commitment to campaigning for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel. They called on the South African government to sever diplomatic and trade relations with Israel and announced a week of activities under the theme: "Free Palestine! Isolate Apartheid Israel!"[xvi]

COSATU was the first major national labour federation to call for boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel. Several other national labour federations have followed suit, including those of New Zealand and Ireland. MUCH MORE HERE

Trade unionists are to launch a boycott of Israeli goods as part of a major campaign to secure a peaceful settlement in the Middle East, Stormont heard today.

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) launched a report on Israel and Palestine compiled by senior members who visited the troubled region.

ICTU President Patricia McKeown led the Middle East visit that involved 11 senior members of the umbrella group representing trade unions across Ireland, including 36 trade unions with 250,948 members in Northern Ireland

Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams who hosted the report's launch in Stormont's Long Gallery commended the trade unionists.

Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams told today's event: "Since the visit by the ICTU delegation, Gaza has been the target of an all-out military assault by Israeli forces. Over 1,300 people were killed, many of them children.

"Unless the international community and that includes the Irish government, the British government, the EU and the US government exercises its considerable influence and authority, any relaxation of the current assault on Gaza will only bring a short respite for citizens there."

He said a sustained international effort was needed to secure a durable settlement and added: "If the conflict here taught us anything, that is that no conflict is intractable. There are solutions." source
