Racist Israel Bans Gerry Adams from Entering Gaza

The leader of the 2nd largest party in the North of Ireland. A man who could be used to help bring about peace. A man who was involved in the Irish peace process and without whom we would not have one. A man who has worked closely with George Mitchell, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, and Isarel does not want to let him into Gaza. For the background on this read my post HEREWhere they attempted to force Adams into saying he would not meet with HAMAS while in Gaza. newsflash.... Hamas were duly ELECTED in GAZA so they are the Gazan Government.

Israel bars N Ireland leader from Gaza
Northern Ireland political leader Gerry Adams will not be allowed to enter Gaza this week because he planned to meet officials from Hamas, the militant group that rules the territory, an Israeli official said on Tuesday.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said Israel "would not help Adams meet with Hamas terror leaders". Hamas is listed as a terror organisation by Israel, the US and EU.

A spokesman for Adams, Ted Howell, said Adams and his delegation planned to visit Gaza on Wednesday. He said, "we will meet with whoever wants to meet us."

Again you should read THIS for the background. Adams wouldn't be threatened, so now he is "banned" by racists and murderers. Can't wait for Israel to be charged with war crimes. Rest assured I will celebrate for a month!

Psssst, Hey Israel, US Govt Says Knock it Off

well now Biden is chiming in, telling Israel they would be "ill advised" to attack Iran. This is starting to look like Obama may not be in the mood to play war games with israel.

Biden: New Israel would be 'ill-advised' to attack Iran

WASHINGTON (AFP) — US Vice President Joe Biden said Tuesday the new Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would be "ill-advised" to attack Iran, but stressed that it was unlikely to do so.

"I don't believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu would do that. I think he would be ill-advised to do that," Biden said in an interview with CNN, when asked about possible Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

FRAUD CHARGES LOOM~Lieberman Going DOWN

Well it looks like Lieberman is going down! I thought there was something very "odd" about all of this. I wrote HERE that I thought this could be an effort to get rid of him as he will be too much trouble for the new Israeli Government. So I have to say "I told you so" LOL

Lieberman Questioned Again, Charges Likely

(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman was questioned for five hours on Tuesday, the third in less than a week as part of an ongoing police investigation. Police said on Sunday that Lieberman is likely to face charges of money laundering, fraud, bribery and breach of trust.

The new Foreign Minister, who also heads the Yisrael Beiteinu party, will face at least one more round of questioning before the case is closed. Once police gather enough evidence, they will turn the case over to the State Prosecutor's Office.

Law enforcement officials have told Israeli media that they have already gathered hard evidence to support the allegations against Lieberman. If government attorneys decide to indict him, the controversial Foreign Minister may be forced to suspend himself from office.

MUST READ~ What if YOU were a young Palestinian?

All I can say is this op-ed in the Daily Mail by Andrew Alexander is a MUST READ! Although I do not agree with his use of the phrase "terrorist" in the context that he uses it. I believe the state of Israel is a terrorist state, the sad fact that it is a "state" does not make it incapable of being considered as a "terrorist"

Anyhow, the op-ed piece is below:

The easiest thing to do with terrorists is to rage at them. Or to declare, mindlessly, that we must strengthen 'the war on terrorism'. Both are moral self-indulgence and mental idleness.

Suppose that you are a young man living in Gaza, dominated by refugees or their descendants whose original homeland was what is now Israel. You may well have been brought up on stories, sometimes exaggerated, of a home where your forebears lived in security.

With squalid conditions in the refugee camps and little hope of good education or employment, your frustration and rage is easily directed at Israel, the U.S. as its relentless backer and probably us, too, as Washington's poodlelike allies. Or maybe you live in the West Bank, once part of Palestine. Since the 1967 war, Israel has left the West Bank littered with 600 checkpoints which divide even families.

This side of the border you will see ever-growing Israeli settlements. The details of the sheer illegality and subterfuge involved are readily provided by the protesting Jewish organisation Peace Now (peacenow.org).
Our young Palestinian will also remember so painfully Israel's punitive expedition against Gaza supposedly to crush the governing party, Hamas, whose military wing launched sporadic, but not very effective, rockets on Israel. Yet this only begins to touch on the millions in the Middle East with deep grievances.

Significantly, Hamas and Hezbollah had electoral triumphs following Israeli attacks. In Afghanistan, refugees from the Taliban have had to face returning to a land where the seven-year war against the invader has reinvigorated that awful organisation. Throughout the Middle East, tales can be heard of relatives or friends who have fallen victim to the U.S. and its allies, including Israel, over recent decades, often accompanied by grim details about trigger-happy U.S. troops, ideal villains.

Our young man in Gaza or the West Bank grows up dangerously full of frustration and anger. His religion seems a stabilising force in an unstable world.

Those with deep grievances, actual or inherited, number many millions. Just think about the scale of this. There are about 300 million Muslim Arabs (plus Iran). Pakistan, now being drawn into the conflict, adds many more.

If only a tiny fraction takes the Jihadist path, we face a formidable and, alas, growing host. Can we be surprised that Islamic extremists find no difficulty in recruitment?

We are very stupid - as stupid as Chamberlain at Munich - to ignore the scale or nature of the menace.

There will be no curb to terrorism until we stop waging wars on Muslim countries and, even more, until the problem of the Arab-Israeli conflict is ended or at least ameliorated.

Washington holds all the levers. It is the source of huge economic and military aid to Israel. President Clinton nearly achieved a settlement, but was balked at the last moment by the then Palestinian leadership.

At least he tried. Other presidents have declined to pressure Israel into the necessary concessions and Britain's efforts has amounted to little more than pious pleading.

Of course, the Zionist lobby in the U.S. and elsewhere is powerful. In the American case, Jewish Zionism is augmented by various Evangelical Churches that excitedly grasp at the state of Israel as fulfiling Old Testament prophecies.

In the propaganda battle here as in the U.S., Zionists are adept at playing the anti-semitic card, so familiar to fair-minded journalists. The BBC in particular is easily scared.

Developments within Israel are grim. Its crazy system of proportional representation gives every loony some power in coalition governments. Hence we have the notorious extremist Avigdor Lieberman in the post of Foreign Minister.

Israeli organisations such as Peace Now, which once organised a 400,000-strong demonstration against the Lebanon intervention in 1982, face an uphill battle. Yet the chance for peace does not depend on Israeli political manoeuvring.

President Obama has the real, unquestionable power to impose a settlement. How hard he tries affects everybody, particularly us. SOURCE

Peace Process "DEAD END" Racist Lieberman Says

I just made a post earlier about Obama's message to Israel when we spoke in Turkey today, he made specific comments regarding the US policy for a two state solution and referenced the former agreements. This is a clear message to the racist bigot Lieberman, who several days ago said Israel did not have to abide by the Annapolis agreement. So now the Racist Zionist fires back at Obama, saying the peace process is at a "Dead End" Obama needs to give these racist Zionists a HUGE wake up call, by cutting off ALL money, it's the only thing the worship. Stop the money NOW! Besides that money can be far better used by the millions of suffering Americans who lost their homes and jobs! Report below (also updated at end NEW info out!!)
Israeli foreign minister sees peace talks at "dead end"

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel's far-right foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, said on Tuesday that Western-backed peace efforts with the Palestinians had reached a "dead end" and Israel intended to present new ideas for diplomacy.

"There is definitely a regression here and we must understand and admit that we are at a dead end," Lieberman said in a speech to members of his Yisrael Beiteinu party. "We definitely intend to present new ideas."

Yeah, and these "new ideas" will be to create an even smaller "jail" for the millions of Gazans crembed into a small space because Israel keeps stealing land.

Lieberman's party is the second largest partner in the right-wing coalition government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu which was sworn in last week.

The new foreign minister also said he did not "see the logic" in continuing negotiations over Palestinian statehood launched by the previous government of centrist Ehud Olmert.

"I don't understand the logic ... to skip directly to negotiations over a final agreement, to give up all our demands of the other side," Lieberman said.

UPDATED, this is hysterical, what a comedy!! Now Lieberman says he wants "foreign" powers (e.g. America) to butt out of Israels government policies. LOL............HELLO??? AIPAC, ADL, ZOA etc etc, I suppose Lieberman has no probs with Zionist groups interfering in American politics. And of course he had no probs with them smearing Charles Freeman, or pressuring Canada to ban George Galloway from speaking, all that is just "fine" as long as it suits Zionists. Check this rant by Lieberman out below:

Lieberman rejects foreign 'intervention' in politics
Mar 29, 2009

JERUSALEM (AFP) — Israel's hawkish new Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told foreign powers on Tuesday to stay out of Israeli politics, in an apparent reference to the flagging Middle East peace process.

"We have never interfered in the affairs of others, and we expect from others that they not interfere in ours," Lieberman told a meeting of his ultra-nationalist Yisrael Beitenu party.

(Um, hey Lieberman you asshat, can I just remind you of AIPAC, ADL, ZOA, JTF, and HUNDREDS MORE operating for your country IN America?? Oh and let us not forget Jonathan Pollard your spy in jail for life in the USA.)

"I do not expect from others that they have a stopwatch in hand and tell Israel when it must produce a responsible political programme," he added.

During a visit to Turkey on Monday, US President Barack Obama voiced renewed hope that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict could be resolved on the basis of a two-state solution, and urged leaders on both sides for "courage" to make peace. "I believe that peace in the Middle East is possible. I think it will be based on two states side by side," he said.

"In order to achieve that, both sides are going to have to make compromises. Now what we need is the political will and courage on the part of leadership," he added.

Israel NOT Invited to Peace Conference

A Palestinian negotiator on Tuesday said Israel can not be invited to an international peace conference planned to take place in the near future in Moscow.

"Some players like Israel can not be invited to Moscow conference because it denies all the political references and wants to continue building settlements," said Yasser Abed Rabbo, amember of the Palestinian negotiation team.

The PNA mainly blames the continuation of settlement activities in the West Bank and East Jerusalem for the stillness of the negotiations. The two territories would form most of the future statehood.

The prospect of the peace talks waned after a new rightist Israeli government took office with its firebrand Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman focuses on making peace with the moderate Arab countries rather than the Palestinians.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is on a visit to Russia, was told that Moscow was looking at the possibility of combining the Middle East conference with U.S. President Barack Obama's visit in July. source

Hey America, Don't Think You Have a Zionist Problem??

Hello America, the US Zionists are at it again, you have subversive groups, within your borders, loyal to another country working against your President. Would you allow British, French,German, or Arab control of your country? Well you are allowing Israel to control America and it is working against what is best for America. Cut these people loose. Support your President and your country, expel them if they are working against America's policies and also attempting to free a man who spied on the USA and was convicted of this HERE And so far as Israel being a "friend" to America, if the spy is not enough to convince you, then remember the USS Liberty and then read this:

Don't Give in to Pressure for a PA State

In a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the US-based National Council of Young Israel (NCYI) urged him to reject global pressures to agree to a Palestinian state. The organization also called for action to obtain freedom for imprisoned Israeli agent Jonathan Pollard

The April 1, 2009 letter, released to the press on Monday, was signed by Shlomo Z. Mostofsky, Esq., President of the NCYI, and Rabbi Pesach Lerner, its Executive Vice President. The NCYI represents over 150 Orthodox synagogues throughout the United States and Canada, with another 50 congregations in Israel affiliated with its sister organization, Yisrael HaTza'ir.

The NCYI leaders referred to unnamed "external forces" that "may call upon you to take a conciliatory approach towards the Palestinians," adding, "[We] implore you to stand firm and reject any pressure to accede to calls for the creation of a Palestinian state. We believe that an independent Palestinian state would merely compound the complex problems that currently exist and open the door to a new wave of acts of terror directed at innocent Israeli civilians."

As for the Israeli agent in American hands, Mostofsky and Rabbi Lerner further said, "[We] hope that when you meet with President Obama, you will directly ask the President to commute Jonathan Pollard's prison sentence. ...It is time to set Jonathan Pollard free and send him home to Israel."
(No, it's time to STFU and throw away the key and let him serve his LIFE sentance!!)

Israel on World Quest to Improve its Image (break out the sick bag)

Israeli Beach, Coming Soon to Country Near You

When will the world begin to understand the depths that Israel will go to fool people and make them think they are wonderful democratic people, who want peace and equality. They spend billions (probably the billions they steal from poor Americans) to carry out these "missions" worldwide and get a foot hold into other countries where they hope to one day exert the same type of control they have in America. Wake up people, unless you want to end up having them control what happens in your country as they did in Canada when they forced the government to ban a British MP from speaking, and in the USA when they ran a smear campaign against Charles Freeman who Obama had appointed. So now we see this farce in Vienna, an "Israeli Beach" on the Danube, I kid you not.............

This from the "Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs" (and HASBARA)
New Tel Aviv beach to be opened – in Vienna

A new six-month long initiative by the Israeli embassy in Vienna will focus attention on Israel's rich cultural life, its society and its products, and delight and entertain the residents of the Austrian capital and the many tourists that flood the city.

"Tel Aviv Beach" is located in the center of the city, along the banks of the Danube River that intersects the city, and only a few hundred yards from St. Stephan's Cathedral.
Pay close attention to the next bit:
The beach is an additional platform of Israel's embassy in Austria, and an additional layer in the implementation of the active public diplomatic strategy promoted by the embassy.
The public "strategy" of the Israeli Embassy, meaning, to counter what the world just saw in Gaza! Well, it will take much more than a few Israelis dancing in some fake beach to convince me that they are peaceful people. Perhaps they should start with making the Arabs living in Israel equal citizens, stop bulldozing homes, stealing land, ramping up war, murdering children, over haul its criminal army, stop printing t-shirts with pregnant Muslim women saying "one shot, two kills" stop the illegal act of war siege on Palestine, allow Palestinians the right to return to THEIR homes, begin to respect and adhere to the over 60 UN resolutions it has against it's evil rogue state, put forth its war criminals for trial and support the outcome of said UN trials, give up the stolen land and give Palestinians a rightful homeland NOT under Israel control, and give up its nuclear weapons, just like they want Iran to do. Then they can come and dance for me!MORE BELOW
Israel's rich cultural life, its society and its products are not well known in Austria and in other cities around the world. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs perceived this challenge some time ago, and has since been actively market these topics, using various methods. The Israeli embassy in Vienna has implemented an active approach, which is expressed by the number of initiatives. The most conspicuous of these was the "Israeli streetcar", a typical Viennese streetcar, completely wrapped on the outside with campaign pictures, and with LCD screens and advanced sound systems inside.

The "Tel Aviv Beach" represents a significant escalation in the scope of activities and the leverage of strategic success. Approximately 1000 sqm., bounded by a huge screen on one side and a Bauhaus-style café/bar/snack bar on the other. Beach chairs and Tel Aviv's typical night-scene pyramid-style street lamps are already on the way, Israeli atmosphere for Austrians and international tourists who flood Vienna alike. The beach will offer a typical Israeli refuge from European routine. Chill-out, excellent food and spontaneity. Broad, unrestricted Internet coverage with a range of popular web technologies on the side. more HASBARA here
They are building beaches in Vienna, whilst Palestinians live in rubble caused by Israel's over the top military genocide in Gaza. Disgusting! People should BOYCOTT THE BEACH

US to Destroy the Homes of Criminals

Gunman kills 3 police officers in Pittsburgh Ohio. Now US government will bulldoze his house down. Members of his family were not involved in the shootings and were declared innocent of any crimes. However, despite pleas from his family to keep their family home which they own, the US government has determined that it must bulldoze the house to the ground, totally destroying it. Even though the rest of the family were innocent, they must also be punished, as this will be a deterrent to others who may decide to break the law.

Of course this is a false report above regarding the home of the shooter being demolished in America. But in "one" country they believe in collective punishment Now the REAL story below:

Israeli police have shot dead a Palestinian motorist in East Jerusalem who drove at them while they were carrying out a home demolition.

The police were in at a checkpoint as, nearby, colleagues tore down the home of a Palestinian man who killed three Israelis with a bulldozer last year.

The house was pulled down after the Israeli Supreme Court rejected an appeal by the attacker's family.

Israel says the demolition of the homes of attackers is a deterrent.LINK

Now, I say again, imagine this happening in America, then you get a clear picture of the collective punishment is like for Palestinians, even the innocent ones!!

Obama & Palestine Put Pressure on Israel

After today's Town Hall Meeting in Turkey by Obama, where he reiterated the US policy for a two state solution in the Palestine/Israel conflict this was yet another message to Netanyahu's racist FM Lieberman that Annapolis will not be discarded. And if that's not enough for Israel's Zionist Neo-Nazi government; The Palestinians will not meet with Israel either, not until they agree to suspend building Jewish settlements to post-1967 Israel, accept previously signed agreements and agree to a two-state solution. So pressure from all sides on the racist rogue state of Israel. Signs of worry in Netanyahu's government, as now he claims they are " still reviewing" their policies LOL, translation="Oh Shit, we are going to have to make concessions" I hope Obama tells them how it's going to be.

Netanyahu ‘Still Formulating Policy’

Israel’s new government, headed by Binyamin Netanyahu, said it was still reviewing its policies after United States President Barack Obama articulated Washington’s adherence to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“The United States strongly supports the goal of two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security,” Obama said in a speech in the Turkish parliament.

“That is a goal that the parties agreed to in the Road Map and at Annapolis, and that is a goal that I will actively pursue as president.”

Obama’s comments appeared to be in response to remarks made last week by Israel’s new foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, from the hawkish Yisrael Beiteinu party.

Lieberman said Israel was not committed to the Annapolis understandings, implying that he intended to set a new agenda at the Foreign Ministry.

The U.S.-sponsored conference in Annapolis in November 2007 outlined a two-state solution to the conflict.

Lieberman said the Annapolis conference had “no validity,” but stressed that Israel was still committed to the 2003 Road Map for peace, which also outlined a two-state solution.

In response to Obama’s comments on Monday, Netanyahu’s office issued a statement to say it appreciated Obama’s commitment to Israel’s security and the pursuit of peace.

“The Government of Israel is committed to both of these goals and will formulate its policies in the near future so as to work closely with the United States towards achieving these common objectives,” the statement said.

Obama is expected to visit Israel and the West Bank in June, en route to France, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported.

Analysts say a visit to the region so soon after the U.S. president takes office is a rare event and will serve to underline Obama’s dedication to realizing the two-state solution.

Obama’s special envoy to the Middle East, George Mitchell, is visiting the region next week to push forward the peace process.

Netanyahu is also facing challenges in Ramallah, which is apparently refusing to talk with the new Israeli government unless it demonstrates a willingness to make concessions.

“Senior Palestinian sources” told the Israeli daily Ma’ariv that any talks would be conditioned on Israel suspending construction of Jewish communities in post-1967 Israel, accepting previously signed agreements and agreeing to a two-state solution.

A meeting between Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud ‘Abbas will also not take place until these conditions are fulfilled, the sources said.

Obama Going to Israel

U.S. president to visit Israel in June

U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Israel and Western Bank in June, the Israeli Haaretz newspaper reported with reference to the U.S. diplomatic sources.

Obama will visit the region after tripping to France in June.

A decision to visit Israel several days after meeting with new Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu testifies that the United States plays an active role in settling Palestinian-Israeli problem.

Last week, Israeli new Foreign Minister Avigdor Libermann refused to follow the Annapolis agreement signed with the new Palestinian government in 2007.

Before Obama's visit to Israel, U.S. Special Envoy to Middle East George Mitchell will visit the region.

Unlike, former George Bush administration, the new leader of the White House is not against of Hamas's joining the Palestinian government, Haaretz reported. However, the U.S. supports the decision of the Middle East quartet - U.S., EU, UN and Russia - on refusing from any diplomatic negotiations with Hamas. The quartet insists on the movement to recognize Israel's right for existence and refuse from resistance.

Obama to Ease Restrictions on Cuba

All I can say is it's about time!!Those people have suffered for almost 50 years, enough is enough.

US Congress members in Cuba talks

Raul Castro has held talks with members of Congress in his first face-to-face meeting with US politicians since he became president last year.

State television showed Mr Castro talking to members of the delegation, which is in Havana to explore ways of improving US-Cuban relations.

Barack Obama is expected to ease some of the travel and economic restrictions imposed on Cuba nearly 50 years ago.

Failed policy

Last week, a bipartisan group of US senators introduced a bill that would allow all US citizens to travel freely to Cuba for the first time since 1962.

Democratic Senator Byron Dorgan said the policy had "failed for 50 years", adding that he believed it would win enough votes in the US Congress to pass.

But Republican Mel Martinez said the US should support pro-democracy activists, not "the Castro regime". (neocon Republicans who brought you the "War On Terror" and invaded Iraq on a lie LOL, they never change)

The US began imposing restrictions on Cuba after Fidel Castro took power in 1959, making it the only Communist state in the Americas - and a Cold War flashpoint.

His younger brother, Raul, formally took over the presidency from him in February last year.

Israeli Soldiers Charged with Brutality

Israeli soldiers indicted for brutality

JAFFA, Israel, April 6 (UPI) -- An Israeli Army medic and his superior officer are facing charges they brutalized Palestinian detainees in the West Bank, prosecutors say.

Charges filed with the Jaffa Military Court allege the two, a staff sergeant serving as a medic and a lieutenant serving as a company commander, committed aggravated assault upon Palestinians detained for routine searches and questioning, Ynetnews.com reported.

Prosecutors say the incident occurred last September when, while on a military motorcade patrolling the West Bank, the medic struck a Palestinian who had been stopped for questioning with his helmet, kicked him in the abdomen and tore his shirt while the lieutenant -- his direct superior -- stood by and did nothing.

The indictment also alleges that the medic struck a second Palestinian and shoved a third to the ground, later pinning another detainee to a wall, choking and kicking him, Ynetnews reported.

The officer's attorney, Shimon Cohen, reportedly demanded his client be released from jail and provided a statement by the soldiers' brigade commander saying the case was hurting military morale.

Hurting Military Morale?????????????????????
What about the injured and abused? Oh, so sorry, how stupid of me to forget they are only Palestinians!
IDF racists and child killing scum.

West Bank Closed Down by Israeli Army

Too funny, just the other day Israel banned Palestinians and removed them from celebrating. However, today they close the West Bank down so Jews can celebrate passover. What racists!

IDF to impose closure on West Bank ahead of Pesach

The Israel Defense Forces announced Monday it was to impose a general closure on the West Bank at midnight ahead of the upcoming Jewish holiday of Pesach.

The closure will be lifted at midnight on Saturday, April 18th, the army said. It noted that the lifting of the closure would be carried out in accordance with security assessments.

In a communique, the IDF said it regarded the holiday, which begins on Wednesday evening, as a highly sensitive time.

"Accordingly, the IDF will increase its alertness in order to ensure the safety of the citizens of Israel, while preserving, to the best of its ability, the daily life of the Palestinian population," the communique said. (translation=killing, murdering and maiming Palestinians, to the best of the IDF's abilities!!)

UNBELIEVABLE~Israel Targets Haaretz!!!

The JOKE of Israel being a "democracy" becomes even more ridiculous. Israel cannot stand any criticism what so ever. They have hundreds of organisations who work to silence, censor and shut down any forms of media that dares to criticize Israel or its genocidal actions. Now they are coming for one of their own that dared to question Israel, the leftist paper Haaretz is the next target of Israel's right wingnut neocon racists. Just like they target youtube, wiki, message boards, television, British MP's, Charles Freeman and forms of critisizm, now they will "teach Haaretz a lesson"

Reservists Call to Investigate Haaretz

(IsraelNN.com) Forty-six IDF reservists who fought in Operation Cast Lead in Gaza have sent a letter to Attorney General Menachem Mazuz asking him to investigate the Hebrew-language daily Haaretz for slander. The reservists have accused the paper of publishing serious accusations against IDF soldiers without taking the time to examine the claims.

Haaretz published testimony from two reservists who fought in Gaza who claimed to have witnessed war crimes, including the shooting of an innocent woman and her children. However, after the claims had gained worldwide media coverage, the two clarified that they had not witnessed the incidents in question, but rather had heard about them from others

The soldiers clarified that they are not against the publication of articles criticizing IDF actions or policies. “We believe that public discourse is critical to our society... We believe that whenever soldiers are found to have violated orders or behaved immorally, in Cast Lead or any other operation, the problem should be given public exposure and dealt with,” they wrote.

"However, this does not justify or permit the serious and sweeping accusations against IDF combat soldiers as a group as they appeared in Haaretz,” the letter continued.

The purpose of investigating Haaretz for slander would be to show the media as a whole “that not everything is permitted... that one cannot spread falsehoods, slander and lies in the name of free speech; that in Israel in 2009 blood libels are not allowed,” the group concluded.

Racist Israel Fires 150 Arab Workers

Israel a "democracy" what a joke! Where is "equality, justice, freedom of expression? All of those exist in a REAL Democracy, rather than what Israel is e.g. a theocracy

Racists, Racists, Racists and Bigots.............

A decision by Israel's state-owned railway company to sack 150 Arab workers because they have not served in the army has been denounced as "unlawful" and "racist" this week by Arab legal and workers' rights groups.

The new policy, which applies to guards at train crossing points, is being implemented even though the country's Arab citizens -- numbering 1.2 million and nearly one-fifth of the total population -- have been exempt from serving in the military since Israel's establishment.

Ahmed Tibi, an Arab member of the Israeli parliament, complained to Israel Railways and the attorney general last week, arguing that the move was meant "to cleanse the railways of Arab employees."

"It is an especially grave matter as this is a public company whose operations are meant to benefit all citizens," he said.

The Laborers' Voice, a workers' rights group based in Nazareth, said the new condition of employment was designed to reserve rail jobs for Jews, most of whom are conscripted for three years after finishing school.

It added that Israel Railways was following dozens of other major Israeli firms and thousands of small businesses that keep jobs off limits to Arab workers by defining the roles as security related. MORE HERE

UN Says "Anti-Zionism NOT Anti-Semitism"

Anti-Zionism Is Not Anti-Semitism, Stipulates UN Organization, EAFORD

THE INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR THE ELIMINATION OF ALL FORMS OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION (EAFORD)

Item 7. Human rights situation in Palestine and other occupied Arab territories

To expose Israel’s human rights abuses and attacks on Gaza is not anti-Jewish; criticism based on mountains of reports of human rights violations are not directed at Jews anywhere, but at the policies of the State of Israel.

The international community can and should abhor the slaughter of Palestinian women and children without being labeled anti-Semitic.

Zionism is a political movement, not a religion; it is a colonialist, racist, ideology of conquest, oppression, subjugation and control.

Zionism is Israel's official ideology and to oppose the discriminatory policies of this apartheid state is not racist. Israel is one thing, Judaism another: to confront one is not to be in opposition of the other, they are separate.

Jews can be anti-Zionists, and anti-Semites can be staunch Zionists. Some of the most adamant supporters of Zionist ideology are not Jews, but some fundamentalist Christians. This agenda item does not report on a religion but on a State’s discriminatory policies towards a people who are Semitic too!

Occupation is not about religion: It is a nation’s policy of aggression; its use of disproportionate force, and collective punishment.

When the atrocities committed on the people of Palestine are condemned, Zionists call it anti-Semitism, which is a concocted myth. It is simply a ploy to “dismiss all criticism, no matter how legitimate, as rooted in prejudice and therefore without any validity." (Cohen)

Equating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism poisons any resolution; let it not deter us from our pursuit, the real goal which must prevail: truth and justice.

Thank you Mr. President.

Zionist Leiberman NOT WELCOME IN EGYPT

Well, never mind about Israel celebrating its "so called" agreement with Egypt. Egypt did not celebrate, and it now seems that Egyptians are none too happy about Israel's new Zionist Racist Genocidal Government. Israel has already lost the support of Turkey, and I predict Egypt is not far behind.

Egyptian Islamists: Deny entry to 'Zionist terrorist' Lieberman

A key Egyptian opposition faction have submitted a bill to deny entry to Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

Hussein Ibrahim, the chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood, wrote in the proposal that Lieberman deliberately harms the continuity of the Egyptian people and government. He also called the far-right minister "a Zionist terrorist" and said his policies are "overly extreme."

More than a hundred MPs, all of them from the opposition, endorsed the motion.

Ibrahim told an Egyptian Web site on Friday that the Egyptian government did stand up properly to the newly appointed Israeli foreign minister, and that it should have boycotted him a long time ago.

Egypt has threatened to boycott Lieberman unless he issues an official apology for past remarks, including telling Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to "go to hell."

Last week, Egyptian ambassador to Israel Yasser Rida threatened to boycott the anniversary ceremony to protest Lieberman's pending appointment.

Funny that Lieberman makes a referral to "Hell" a place he surely will be going himself, to sit at the right hand of Satan, just where he belongs, along with all the other murdering scum who believe they have a right to kill innocent Palestinians. "Hell" is going to be VERY crowded!!

British MP Calls For Israeli War Crimes Investigation & Halt of UK Arms Trade

Another British MP calling for inquiry into Israeli war crimes in Gaza. Additionally he is calling for a halt to UK arms to Israel. Wonder if Canada, at the behest of their Jewish Lobby, will brand him as a "terrorist" as well.

Pendle MP in call for Gaza inquiry

PENDLE MP Gordon Prentice is calling for an independent inquiry into allegations of war crimes during the Israeli assault on Gaza.

Following the conflict in December and January, Mr Prentice has called for an immediate halt to UK arms exports to Israel.

He said: “What happened in Gaza should concern us all.

“The attack was a wholly disproportionate response to the rockets fired into southern Israel.”

Mr Prentice is supporting the Commons motion tabled by Martin Linton MP last week.

it's all gathering ground, week by week, the world is coming for you Israel. We won't forget the genocide you committed in Gaza, you are war criminals and Will be charged as such FINALLY!

Breaking the Glass Ceiling in Palestine

Some good news from Palestine today, Women are moving up the ladder.

Businesswoman challenges traditions in Palestine

A successful company in Palestine has set a precedent in becoming the first firm to be headed by a female in the Muslim country.

The stock market is a land heavily dominated by men. Women are a rare sight on the trading floor, even in Western countries, not to mention the even more conservative Arab world.

successful company in Palestine has set a precedent in becoming the first firm to be headed by a female in the Muslim country.

Her story has inspired women trying to break away from the austere rules of religious society. She now employs several women in her company, and men it seems are slowly coming to grips with the new reality.

“You could often see women in various managerial positions. My boss is also a woman, and we are getting on quite well,” Salam Zohod, manager of a bank, said.

Regardless of the boardroom sessions and client meetings the chief executive is still very much a woman in a man’s world.

“Once I get home, I become mother and wife. I still have enough strength for household chores and for my husband,” Ruba Masrouji said.

So what do Palestinian men think about the example that makes their wives more confident and financially independent?

“It’s great that a woman can succeed in running a business as well as a family. It’s becoming a trend in our society, which is a positive sign,” broker Mohamad Elbarq said.

One thing Ruba Masrouji knows for sure is that it will only be through equal rights and opportunities that will keep her company and her nation united.

Israel Bans Medical Equipment

Just like he banned "Pasta" saying it was not "food" They must now believe Palestinians do not need medical supplies either. What a disgraceful and despicable rogue state Israel is.

Israel bans medical equipments and supplies imported by the PA to enter Jerusalem

Hatem Abed Al-Qader, the a Palestinian PM Jerusalem Affairs advisor, told reporters Monday that equipments were donated by the Islamic Bank and worth several million USD.

According to Abed Al-Qader there will be Six Palestinian hospitals in Jerusalem that will be effected because of the new ban; Maqased, the Islamic Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint John Hospital, the Red Crescent Hospital and Amira Basma Clinic. LINK

423 Palestinian Children Still Held by Israel

With the recent genocide in Gaza, we must not forget the Israeli Human Rights Violations that have gone on for years and continue today.

I thought it important for people to remember the children that are still alive yet being held in Israeli prisons, many un-charged. We Irish call this internment and understand it quite well having gone through the same. The report below came out today, however for a window into the world of these Israeli human rights abuses, I have also posted a wonderful account of this from "dissident voice" after the story below. A moving story about a Palestinian girl intent on getting her education, despite Israeli aggression towards her and her family. A must read, but first this:

Israel holds 423 Palestinian children: report

GAZA, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Israel still holds 423 Palestinian children aged under 18, the Palestinian Center for Defending Prisoners said on Monday.

"The children stay in very difficult circumstances in the Israeli jails," the center said in a report, adding the Israeli jailers "put them under psychological pressure and some jailers molested some of the children."

The prison authorities places eight to ten children in one room of four meter square, the report added.

According to the center, "231 of the children were sentenced while 182 are still waiting their trial. Ten children are subject to administrative detention without any charge."

In 2006, Islamic Hamas movement captured an Israeli soldier in a cross-border raid near the Gaza Strip and demanded to exchange him for a number of Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas still holds the Israeli soldier and Egyptian-mediated talks to achieve a swap collided with Hamas' insistence to select the names of the first 450 prisoners and Israel's rejection.

In addition to the 450, Hamas stresses that Israel must also free all the children, women, old prisoners and leaders of the Palestinian groups.

Posted below is a partial account of life under Israeli aggression and human rights abuses. Told by "Merna" a brave young Palestinian girl who has suffered so much, for so long.

Merna, an honors student in her final year majoring in English. For most people studying for a degree is tough enough, but this youngster also has to battle against armed intruders who invade her home and have systematically destroyed her family life.

Merna is described by the Brothers as “a joyful and engaging person, full of life and love”. The tragedy is that Israeli soldiers frequently rampage through her refugee camp in the middle of the night and have taken away her loved ones, one by one. From childhood Merna remembers the constant night raids and soldiers randomly searching Palestinian homes, ransacking their contents and arbitrarily arresting residents. She remembers, too, her home being bombarded with missiles fired from Gilo, an illegal Israeli settlement outside Bethlehem.

Merna’s family, like thousands of others, became refugees when their village was attacked by Jewish terrorist forces in 1948. The villagers were forced to flee to a camp in Bethlehem where they remain to this day, unable to return to their old homes.

In 2003 her 14-year-old cousin and best friend was shot dead by an Israeli sniper while sitting outside her family home during a curfew.

In 2004, the Israelis arrested her eldest brother, a 22 year-old artist who designed posters and banners for university student groups. They accused him of taking part in student political activities, which can mean anything from running for student council to organizing speaking events, and for this he spent 4 years in prison.

In 2007, they came back for Merna’s 18-year-old brother. He is still incarcerated under ‘administrative detention’, which means he hasn’t been charged or sentenced for any crime because the Israeli military claims to have secret evidence, which only a military judge can see. The Israelis use this device to lock up Palestinians — mostly students — for up to 6 months, to be renewed if the mood takes them. Merna’s 19 year-old cousin is also in prison waiting to be charged with a ‘crime’.

Then a few months ago the military came again, this time to take her youngest brother. Merna was in despair. He had only just turned 16. “As he was being taken away, he told us to take care of ourselves,” said Merna, her eyes brimming with tears. “He’s my little brother! He is the one who needs taking care of. What is he doing in an awful prison cell and how are his spirits?”

“Coming to school is a way of getting away from what is happening in the refugee camp,” says Merna. “It’s like an oasis here for me.” But her thoughts are never far from her cousin and brothers. “I only wish they were allowed this opportunity.”

She is now a senior member of the Bethlehem University Student Ambassadors Programme and an example to fellow classmates, say the Brothers. She hopes to pursue post-graduate studies abroad and return to the University to give back to the community some of the support it has offered her. You can read the full story HERE

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE~Gazan Doctor Nominated!!

NOMINATED: Dr. Abu al-Aish, who lost three daughters when Israel murdered them while he was on the phone doing an interview with an Isareli news program!! I remember watching this on television, in utter shock and disbelief. I cried for hours, then days. What I will never forget as long as I live, was the outrageous Israeli's who came down during the interview and shouted at this poor man "What were you hiding in your house" and "The army had a reason to shoot at your house" and many more disgusting insults. Not one of them, not one single one of them, could have the decency to leave the man alone after having just lost so many of his children, or even for one second entertain the thought that they were innocent!! No, Israeli's have no compassion, all Palestinians are terrorists, all deserve to die, this is exactly why the IDF had those t-shirts made. Israel is a rogue state filled with racists and murderers, no human beings live there any more, only serial killers of Palestinians. I Hope he wins the Nobel Peace Prize, but what I really hope is that some BRAVE Hollywood director has the balls to make a big production movie about this man's life and what happened to him, So that all of America can see how evil Israel is. Anyone brave enough? I wonder!

Gazan doctor nominated for Nobel

Dr. Abu al-Aish, who lost three daughters to fighting in Gaza, receives news of candidacy for peace prize. 'This prize will make my tragedy into something positive,' he says

Dr. Ezzeldeen Abu al-Aish, a Gazan doctor who lost his three daughters to IDF fire during Israel's offensive in the Strip, has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, Ynet learned Sunday

Abu al-Aish received a letter from the Nobel Committee officially declaring him a nominee for the prestigious award.

"I received the news at the end of a meeting with the president of the European parliament while I was visiting Belgium, where I was made an honorary citizen," he said in a telephone conversation from Canada.

"I wouldn't call my first response joy, personally it is not joyous, but it does encourage me to hope for the two people. This prize will make my tragedy into something positive for the human race. It is a victory for intelligence, a victory for hope for positive change for our two people."

The doctor said he would dedicate the prize to the simple people on both sides, Israeli and Palestinian, in the event that he won.

Abu al-Aish, who works at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, said he had already received praise for his candidacy. "The first to call me was Minister Avishai Braverman. He congratulated me and said I represent us all," he said.

The physician promised the nomination would not alter his way of life. "I will continue on my path. It may give me more responsibility but it won't change my faith," he said.

"Winning the prize will be a direct continuation of my activities in favor of a life of peace between two people… The fact that a simple man such as myself is nominated for such a prize only shows that nothing is impossible. The only impossible thing is my daughters' return."

When asked whether he might consider relinquishing medicine in order to enter politics Abu al-Aish said, "Where I find a way to change and help – that's where I will be. I am willing to sacrifice my private time for this goal, but right now I want to save lives. Medicine brings people together, saves souls, and cures wounds, and this is what we need now."

DEFAMATION~Muslim Leader Brings Suit Against UK Government Official

Blears is an asshat pro-Israeli eejit and a disgrace to Britain. For those not aware of the background on this you can read a snippit of the background report then the most recent development of the lawsuit by Dr. Abdullah against Blears. Amazingly enough, She has even managed to anger a Zionist who has debated with Dr. Abdullah on television many times. Even HE thinks she's a nutter!

The extraordinary action taken against the Muslim Council of Britain by communities minister Hazel Blears has rightly aroused widespread condemnation.

As Brian Whitaker has already pointed out, Blears's 13 March letter to the MCB, suspending "engagement" with it pending the outcome of its investigation into the conduct of its deputy general secretary, Daud Abdullah, amounts to a piece of quite unwarranted Whitehall interference in the internal working of an independent body operating entirely legally in this country. In principle, whom the MCB chooses as its office-holders is none of Blears's business. The very unfortunate precedent she is trying to set reflects the practices of a totalitarian state – China perhaps, or Zimbabwe. I am shocked that such a mindset could emerge in the UK.

But I am also deeply upset as a democrat, a Jew and a Zionist – and as a passionate believer in freedom of expression who has debated publicly with Abdullah (through Press TV) on two occasions. BACKGROUND SOURCE

LATEST UPDATE BELOW:

Hazel Blears faces libel action for attack on leading Muslim

A leader of Britain's largest Muslim organisation is threatening to sue Hazel Blears, the secretary of state for communities, after she accused him of calling for violence against Jewish communities and British troops.

In what is being described by members of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) as a crisis in relations between the Muslim community and the government, lawyers acting for its deputy secretary general have accused Blears of adopting "an extraordinary and malicious interpretation" of a declaration he signed this year.

The standoff originated last week when Blears demanded the resignation of Dr Daud Abdullah following his participation in the global anti-aggression conference in Istanbul, stating that the declaration "calls for violence against troops and Jewish communities".

Abdullah rejected the claims, repeated by Blears on several occasions, including in a letter to the Guardian, stating that they were "entirely untrue".
Abdullah said: "I do not advocate attacks on any religious community. Both I and the MCB have done everything possible to de-escalate the crisis ... we have explained all our concerns and have met with parliamentarians to move on. But the government has tried to publicly humiliate me ... I felt obliged to defend myself in a legal manner against these serious and defamatory allegations."

Blears's statement has sparked outrage across the religious and political divide, while a letter in the Guardian last week, signed by figures including Ken Livingstone and Tony Benn, urged the government to "end its attack on Dr Abdullah and reinstate its relations with the MCB".

Abdullah's lawyers have told Blears that unless she issues a retraction and apology by 15 April they will issue proceedings for libel.

Israel To Stand Trial in Spain!!!!

Well, don't ya just love Spain??? They did not cave in to the Jewish lobby or Lawyers representing Israel. I wrote about this HERE Where a group of Lawyers representing Israel were attempting to get the Judge to drop the case, saying "Israel" would do it's own investigation (ROTFLMAO) However, evidently the Spanish Judge thinks humanity can best be served if someone other than Israel handles the investigation and charges. I agree! Should they be convicted, they will be trapped in Israel for life, never being able to leave the country for fear of being arrested!! Story below:

CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY~Israel To Stand Trial in Spain

Spanish National Court Judge Fernando Andreu says he will redouble his probe of seven top Israeli military and government officials for suspected 'crimes against humanity.' He made the decision after determining that documents forwarded by the Israeli Embassy in Madrid show that Israel has decided not to prosecute anyone for the targeted assassination of Salah Shehadeh, the commander of the military wing of Hamas, in Gaza City in 2002. Spanish law allows the prosecution of foreigners for such crimes as genocide, crimes against humanity and torture committed anywhere in the world if the suspects will not be tried in their home country.

A seven-page court document says the initial evidence suggests that the attack in the densely-populated Gaza City, which killed 14 civilians, 'should be considered a crime against humanity.' Supporters of the lawsuit say Spain should pursue the suit because it has 'universal jurisdiction' in such cases.

Andreu will now probe former Israeli Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, former Air Force Commander Dan Halutz, former head of the National Security Council Giora Eiland, and four other senior officials. Andreu will also seek testimony from Palestinian witnesses. The court will ask Israel to formally notify those named in the complaint so that they can be called by the judge to testify. Should Andreu decide to issue an international arrest warrant for any of the seven Israelis, they could be detained upon arrival in any EU member state.

The lawsuit has sparked outrage in Israel, which is trying to fend off foreign censure over the civilian death toll during Operation Cast Lead in January 2009. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak has rejected the complaint as 'delirious' and pointed out that Shehadeh was a terrorist mastermind responsible for the deaths of many dozens of innocent people. 'Whoever calls taking out a terrorist 'a crime against humanity' lives in an upside-down world,' he said. Barak vowed to do 'everything possible to get the investigation dismissed.'

Incoming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called the Spanish probe outrageous. 'It's absurd: Israel is fighting against war criminals and they are charging us with crimes'' said Netanyahu. 'There is nothing more ridiculous and absurd than them accusing us, a democracy legitimately protecting itself against terrorists and war criminals, of these crimes; it is absurd and makes a mockery out of international law,' he said

Sorry, but Israel makes a mockery our of international law, 62 UN resolutions against it, does not recognise the Geneva Convention, murders children, uses weapons in illegal ways, the lest is endless! This time they will pay! When Israel does not get its way it then resorts to threats, they are thugs, see below:

Knesset Member Aryeh Eldad, pointing to what many see as rank hypocrisy by Spain, has called for Israel to put former Spanish officials on trial for their role in the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999. His official petition, which was sent to Israeli Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, says: 'In those bombings, hundreds, perhaps thousands, of innocent civilians were killed because NATO pilots dropped their bombs from extremely high altitudes in order not to endanger themselves. They thus caused mass civilian casualties. It is fitting that the State of Israel try the Spanish political and military leaders for war crimes if Spain does not immediately revoke the charges against the Israeli Defense Minister and Chief of Staff.'

Sensing that the case has the potential to further cement Spain's image as one of the most anti-Israel countries in Europe, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Ángel Moratinos said his government would consider a proposal to amend the controversial war crimes law that now allows the court to investigate the Israelis. But he was immediately contradicted by Deputy Prime Minister María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, who stated defiantly that 'Spain is a country ruled by law and the justice system [here] enjoys absolute independence. This was made clear to Israel and we are sure they understand this.'

So far none of the lawsuits filed against Israel in Europe have ever reached the stage of a court trial where Israeli leaders have appeared before a foreign judge. But Spain's case against Israel could open a Pandora's Box as sundry political organizations try to use the Spanish legal system to charge Israelis and others who are fighting terror. Indeed, Israel is now bracing for a wave of lawsuits which accuse it of human rights violations during Operation Cast Lead.

Well, if the Crime fits, you cannot acquit!!! Israel is GUILTY OF WAR CRIMES!

At the moment, Israel's best option for avoiding a messy and precedent-setting trial may be to exert diplomatic pressure to persuade Spanish authorities that Spain has a vested interest in protecting its justice system from malicious abuse. Britain reached that conclusion in wake of the Almog affair in 2006. And Belgium rolled back its universal jurisdiction law in 2003 after former US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld threatened to pull NATO headquarters out of Brussels.

Here's hoping the Spanish Government and Judge hold the line against what will surely be an onslaught of venom coming their way from all directions. After all, Israel is very used to being allowed to commit crimes and not be change. They have been getting away with murder for years, it's time to stop it now!

Hamas Had Double Agents During War

Hamas says it recruited double intelligence agents with Israel

GAZA, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Islamic Hamas movement revealed on Saturday that it has managed to recruit Palestinian collaborators with Israel during the last Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip that ended in Jan. 18.

A senior Hamas militant, who spoke in condition of anonymity, told a Hamas security website called "al-Majd" that "during the war, Hamas discovered collaborators with Israel and succeeded to recruit them as double agents."

"They became double agents and they managed to penetrate into the Israeli internal security intelligence known as the "Shabak," said the senior militant, adding "we have achieved a great success in this respect."

However, the official said "We managed to discover and follow a number of collaborators during the war on Gaza, then we recruited them and we used them against the enemy that invaded the Gaza Strip."

He said that during the war, Israel used collaborators that its security forces had recruited over the past two years.

"The collaborators used sophisticated technology, such as electronic instrument to send date and also spread rumors to weaken the internal front in Gaza," said Lafi.

Obama May Allow Iran's Nuclear Ambition to Continue

And why not? They have the right to develop Nuclear energy just like everyone else does.

Bush had such hypocrisy attacking Iran for refusing to comply with UN resolutions on the development of its nuclear program while never mentioning Israel already has nuclear weapons and refuses to bring them under international control or scrutiny.

US may cede to Iran's nuclear ambition

US officials are considering whether to accept Iran's pursuit of uranium enrichment, which has been outlawed by the United Nations and remains at the heart of fears that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons capability.

As part of a policy review commissioned by President Barack Obama, diplomats are discussing whether the US will eventually have to accept Iran's insistence on carrying out the process, which can produce both nuclear fuel and weapons- grade material.

"There's a fundamental impasse between the western demand for no enrichment and the Iranian demand to continue enrichment," says Mark Fitzpatrick, a former state department expert now at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. "There's no obvious compromise between those two positions."

The US has insisted that Iran stop enrichment, although Mr Fitzpatrick notes that international offers put to Tehran during George W. Bush's second term as president left the door open to the possible resumption of enrichment.

"There is a growing recognition in [Washington] that the zero [enrichment] solution, though still favoured, simply is unfeasible," says Trita Parsi, president of the National Iranian American Council. "The US may still have zero as its opening position, while recognising it may not be where things stand at the end of a potential agreement."

Yesterday, Mr Obama summarised the US message to Iran as, "Don't develop a nuclear weapon" - a form of words that would not rule out a deal accepting Iranian enrichment. Mr Bush was much more specific in calling Iran to halt enrichment.

Asked last month whether the administration was considering allowing Iran to keep a limited enrichment capability, Robert Wood, a state department spokesman, said: "I don't know . . . Let's let the review be completed and then we can spell out our policies."

Some analysts say priority should be given to winning greater access for UN inspectors, to acquire more information about Iran's enrichment plant in Natanz and fill in gaps in knowledge on Iran's nuclear-related activities across the country. That could provide warning of any move to enrich uranium to weapons grade levels at Natanz and ease fears of clandestine facilities.

Privately both US and Israeli officials say that even the current, more limited inspection regime at Natanz would provide sufficient warning of any "breakout" towards a nuclear bomb. Outside Natanz, by contrast, information on Iran's programme is diminishing.

The US line that Iran is seeking the capability to develop nuclear weapons - but not necessarily such weapons themselves - contrasts with Mr Bush's insistence while in office that it sought nuclear weapons.

Iranian regime insiders have said they would expect a compromise by the US on enrichment to be reciprocated.

Israeli Consulate Takes Over Palestinian Discussion Group in New Hampshire

Here's Israel bullying it's way into a group discussing the plight of Palestinians. The group in New Hampshire, has been carrying on discussion throughout February. Then, suddenly "Several members of the public, who complained to library officials, said the event was not accurate and was one-sided." Translation, the Jewish Lobby, the same people who smeared Charles Freeman and the same people who banned a Member of the British Parliament from entering Canada. Yet, they have the right to force themselves into a public venue to spew their Israeli "hasbara" to the public? Why can't people be allowed to have groups without Israel horning in. I'll tell you why, because Israel is loosing the battle for the hearts and minds of the public, that's why this is so important that they have to bully into groups like this, and if they can't bully into them, then they destroy them or shut them down. Censorship and manipulation is what they do best. Oh and smearing their enemies.

If you live in, or near this location, I highly suggest you get there and give this guy some heated questions. Because, rest assured, they will have pro-Israel people bussed in and planted in the audience to support this guy. Report below:

Israeli consul will speak in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH — A high-ranking Israeli diplomat will be at Portsmouth Public Library on Monday to continue what has become an intense local discussion regarding the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Several members of the public, who complained to library officials, said the event was not accurate and was one-sided. Ultimately, the last installment of the series was moved to a different location, but library officials said it was because of a scheduling conflict.

Scheduling conflict? Don't you mean pressure from the Jewish Lobby?

Without addressing the Teach-ins directly, a spokeswoman for the consulate general said Tamir recognized the dialogue was occurring and wanted to help introduce Israel's perspective.

Translation=He needs to get in there and spread Israel's false version of events. Why bother, we can all go to the IDF website or the HUGE amount of Jewish Publications if we want the IDF version of events. Or, we could just watch FOX news!

Nadav Tamir, who serves as consul general of Israel to New England in Boston, will answer the public's questions regarding recent events in Israel and Gaza.

Throughout February, the library hosted the first three meetings in a series of Palestine Teach-ins, hosted by Seacoast Peace Response and Palestine Education Network. The purpose of the event was to discuss the plight of the Palestinians during the conflict, which organizers said is often ignored by the media, but is just as tragic.

So Israel has to come in and hijack this groups discussion, such bullies and propaganda spreaders, using the ever powerful threats from Jewish lobbyists and groups to seize and take over discussion groups to control people and force their views on the public. And here it is in their own words below:

"There's been some events going on in the area, and we want to come in and be part of that discussion," said Daniella Caplan, director of press and media relations for the consulate general. "We want to make ourselves available to the public to answer any questions."

In a released statement, Tamir, who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993, said, "As a democratic country, Israel prides itself on its open society of dialogue and pluralism.

Open democracy eh? What about sexism ,racism and equality, and diversity, you forgot those wee things, all of which are present in any real democracy.Notice who is sponsoring the event below:

The sponsors of the event are Temple Israel, New Hampshire Center for Middle East Peace, New Hampshire Council of Churches and the Consulate General of Israel to New England.

I smell a MAJOR HASBARA ALERT coming to New Hampshire!

Israel & Palestine Will Enter Peace Talks

Not sure if this is accurate, but worth mentioning anyway.

The London-based Al Sharq Al Awsat (Middle East) newspaper reported Saturday that Israeli and Palestinian negotiators are set to resume peace talk by the end of this month.
The paper added that the new Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu of the Likud party, is planning to visit Cairo in preparation for the talks.

Yet, Egypt’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Husam Zaki, said that he is unaware of the alleged preparations for Netanyahu’s visit to his country.

This report comes while the new Israeli Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, of the extremist Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) Party stated on Wednesday that Israel is not bound by its commitment to the 2007 Annapolis Conference in Maryland, USA.

Lieberman, one of the biggest advocated for settlement construction and expansion in the West Bank, said that Israel should not commit to the signed peace deals. MORE

Obama Calls for Respecting Iran

Obama Stresses Respect for Iran's Sovereignty

TEHRAN (FNA)- US President Barack Obama, in an attempt to soften Washington's harsh tone on Iran, called on the international community to respect Tehran's sovereignty in their efforts to deal with Tehran's nuclear program.

Speaking to reporters during a joint news conference with his French counterpart Nicholas Sarkozy on Friday, the new US president said Iran's sovereignty should remain intact.

Yet, Obama repeated the same old allegations made by his predecessor, George W. Bush, against Iran, and said Tehran should avoid promoting a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

"There should be a mechanism that respects Iran's sovereignty and allows them to develop peaceful nuclear energy
but draws a clear line that we cannot have nuclear arms race in the Middle East," he said.

Israel Racist & Sexist

Israel has removed all the women out of the photograph of the new Israeli Cabinet. I kid you not! Check out the before and after pictures below, click for larger view

Seriously, Israel has to be the worst cancer on this planet. They are insane war mongers, and yes, they also hate women. What a great progressive place to live, only one type of person allowed, and then only the male version. Sexist pigs! I'm sure Britian and the UN wish they could take back that resolution that created such an evil rogue state.

Women in Israeli govt? Not if Photoshop can help

JERUSALEM (AP) — Two women serve in Israel's new Cabinet, but some Israelis would rather not see them.

Newspapers aimed at ultra-Orthodox Jewish readers tampered with the inaugural photograph of the Cabinet, erasing ministers Limor Livnat and Sofa Landver.

Ultra-Orthodox newspapers consider it immodest to print images of women.

Hey, dont' talk to me about how women are treated in Muslim states. Israel is no shining example of equaltiy, but rather a racist sexist state.

The daily Yated Neeman digitally changed the photo, moving two male ministers into the places formerly occupied by the women.

The weekly Shaa Tova simply blacked the women out, in a photo reprinted Friday by the mainstream daily Maariv.

During the election, campaign posters featuring female candidate Tzipi Livni were defaced near ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods.

Israel Ends Chance for Peace?

Israel stealing more land, dividing the West bank forever.
Evidently there are no humans left in Israel, only racist zionist nazi's who steal and butcher Arabs. Obama needs to cut these zio-nazi's loose now. No money, no aid, no weapons, no friendship. Cut them loose and let them sort it out with the Arabs without US assistance, then we will see how quickly they are forced to make peace with their neighbours.

New town may be death blow to hopes for Israel peace
The foundations have been laid but critics fear a planned Israeli settlement will end any hope of a Palestinian state

The sign in big, red Hebrew letters reads “Welcome to Mevasseret Adumim, the Harbinger of the Hills”. A three-lane road with roundabouts leads up the hill to a police station and street lamps line the flyover that links the new town to neighbouring Ma'aleh Adumim, one of the largest Jewish settlements in Israel.

There are no houses, cars or people in Mevasseret Adumim: it is a town laid out, waiting to be built. That is because international pressure has so far prevented construction from going ahead. The area is the last piece of open land linking Arab East Jerusalem to the West Bank and critics said that to develop it would bury the very notion of a two-state solution to the Middle East crisis.

According to reports in the Israeli media, the area has been earmarked for development under a secret accord between Binyamin Netanyahu, the new, conservative Israeli Prime Minister, and his ultra-nationalist Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman.

Better known under its old British mandate name, E1, it is the most controversial development project in the region, one that diplomats and observers warn will trigger the collapse of the weakened Palestinian Authority, or drive it into armed resistance again.

Israeli army radio reported that the deal was struck between Mr Netanyahu and Mr Lieberman as part of the negotiations to form a government, and it would allow 3,000 homes to be built on E1.

Critics said that building a combined Jewish settlement and national park in the hills of E1 would cut the West Bank in two. And blocking mainly Arab East Jerusalem from the West Bank it would make it impossible for the Palestinians to have that side of the disputed city as their capital.

FRAUD~Leiberman Questioned for 2nd Day

I wrote about this yesterday. I hope they hang him, but I must admit that I do find it a bit odd that this comes at this time. Given that he has already caused headlines with his racist views. Either it just took a long time to bring this forward, or something else is at work here. Perhaps they want rid of him as he will be too much trouble and cannot be controlled.

Israeli police question new FM for 2nd day

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli police interrogated the country's new hard-line foreign minister for the second straight day Friday in an ongoing bribery investigation that could make his tenure short-lived.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Avigdor Lieberman was questioned for five hours about an investigation involving suspicions of receiving bribes, money laundering and breach of trust. The foreign minister's lawyer and daughter have also been questioned in the case. Rosenfeld said Lieberman will be questioned again soon.

If indicted, Lieberman will likely have to step down from his post. Lieberman denies any wrongdoing and says the charges are politically motivated.

One of Israel's most polarizing politicians, Lieberman became foreign minister this week. In his first speech, he immediately sparked an international uproar by saying he opposed concessions in exchange for peace and rejecting peace talks initiated by the former government. Lieberman has already raised concerns around the world with statements seen as racist and his opposition to U.S.-backed peace talks over the past year.

Lieberman has had trouble with the law before. Police have questioned him several times throughout his decade-long political career, though none of the allegations have stuck.

Earlier this year, Lieberman's daughter, his lawyer and five other confidants were detained in the current bribery investigation, in which Lieberman is accused of funneling illicit funds through fictitious accounts under the names of his daughter and lawyer.

George Galloway Sues Bernie Farber ADL Canadian Jewish Lobby

Galloway going to get Jason Kenney and Bernie Farber (head of Canada's Jewish Lobby who got Kenney to ban George) in court for defamation. If I were Bernie and Jason, I'd pay a visit to youtube and refer to when Galloway took on the US congress. Be afraid, be very afraid LOL

All I can say is GO GEORGE!! The only person with enough "Chutzpah" to take them on. Too bad the American President won't do the same and defend his own appointments from the Zionists who run American foreign policy and politics. I hope George drags their sorry arses through a long drawn out trial so the world can see how evil they are.

British MP to sue for defamation after being barred from Canada

British MP George Galloway, an outspoken supporter of the Palestinian cause who was barred last month from entering Canada for a speaking tour, says he plans to sue the head of the Canadian Jewish Congress and CTV for defamation.

George Galloway told a cheering crowd in Ottawa he plans to sue some Canadians for defamation over comments made after he was denied entry to Canada. (Canadian Press)

Speaking to an audience in Ottawa through a video internet connection from New York, Galloway said Thursday he will fight for his reputation, but did not say specifically how he had been defamed.

“I have instructed my lawyers in Canada to bring an action for defamation against Bernie Farber, the CEO of the Canadian Jewish Congress, and CTV, for comments he made that they allowed him to make,” he said.

“I am not a terrorist. I am not a threat to Canada’s national security.”

He said he will sue if he doesn't receive an apology, reimbursement for administrative costs and payment for damages.

A spokesman later said Galloway plans similar action against Immigration Minister Jason Kenney.

A spokesman for the immigration minister said the border agency made the decision that Galloway was inadmissible based on the law, not politics.

A Federal Court ruling issued March 30 upheld the CBSA decision to prohibit the MP from visiting Canada.

Supporters of the politician from Scotland — now on a speaking tour of about a dozen U.S. cities — called the decision an affront to free speech that smacked of political interference by the Conservative government.

MP says his audiences are larger now

In his speech by video to hundreds of people who filled a community theatre in Ottawa, Galloway said efforts to ban him from speaking in Canada have backfired spectacularly.

"Far more people have come to these rallies than would otherwise have done," he said.

Iran Offers Obama Olive Branch

Well this is a good thing, Obama better corral the murdering Zionist Israelis, otherwise there won'e be any Iranians left. Israel's greatest dream, wipe out all Arabs and own the entire Middle East.

TEHRAN, April 2 (UPI) -- Iran is a nation that seeks peace and constructive dialogue, the Iranian president said amid a thawing diplomatic climate.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad struck a conciliatory tone on the heels of a major conference on Afghanistan that saw U.S. and Iranian officials embracing common themes.

"The Iranian nation is a peace-loving, civilized one which sponsors talks, logic, justice and forbearance," Ahmadinejad said in statements published by Press TV.

British officials have softened their position on the controversial Iranian nuclear program, opening the door for possible diplomatic engagement.

Washington, for its part, has unveiled a sweeping policy of engagement following years of isolation under George W. Bush. U.S. President Barack Obama offered a warm message to the Iranian people on the occasion of the Iranian new year, while U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has offered Iran a seat at the table for talks on Afghanistan.

Ahmadinejad said his nation wants to pursue a "peaceful" and "rational dialogue" with the West amid the climate of engagement, Press TV reports.

The relationship between the Islamic republic and Western nations is historically acrimonious. Apart from its proxies in Hezbollah and Hamas, Iran faces increasing pressure to abandon its controversial nuclear program. SOURCE

Goodbye Nukes? Good Luck With That One!

I watched this live and Obama said today in Germany he wants to "rid the world of nuclear weapons" a noble cause, but to Obama I would say this; Good luck with that one! The only way Israel will let go of it's Nuclear Weapons and take it's murdering finger off the button, is if the US pries Israel's cold dead fingers off the big red button. Israel is a threat to world peace. Report below:

Obama wants world without nukes

STRASBOURG, France, April 3 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama Friday in France pledged to work to create a world without nuclear weapons.

Addressing a crowd of roughly 3,000 students in Strasbourg, co-host of NATO's 60th anniversary summit this weekend, Obama warned that "even with the Cold War now over, the spread of nuclear weapons, or the theft of nuclear material, could lead to the extermination of any city on the planet."

Obama added he would, at an EU-U.S. summit Sunday in Prague, "lay out an agenda to seek … a world without nuclear weapons."

The crowd at the sports hall in Strasbourg, made up of students mainly from Germany and France, erupted in cheers and long applause.

Obama's comments came just two days after a meeting with Russian President Alexander Medvedev Wednesday in London; the leaders had announced plans to seek a deal aimed at reducing their Cold War-era nuclear arsenals.

NO ARABS ALLOWED~Egypt Angry at US & Israel~Trouble Brewing

I find this amazing that no Arab countries were included, AND that Isarel was allowed to attend as an "observer" translation=To control and ensure they get what they want. This is definitely a backdoor way of getting US soldiers into the Middle East again, of course at the behest of poor little Israel (4th largest army in the world with nukes!) But they want to drag the US into another conflict in the hopes that the US will then back an attack on Iran. Egypt is correct, this is a disgrace. America should be careful as soon it will have no Arab states as Friends because the US uses them and continually capitulates to Israel. Egypt does not deserve this!Wise up America, get Israel out of your foreign policy and your government before Israel makes sure your country is as hated as theirs is. Obama, "where's the hope and change"????

MIDEAST: Big Powers Moving In on Gaza

CAIRO, Apr 3 (IPS) - Nine NATO member states agreed last month to utilise naval, intelligence and diplomatic resources to combat the alleged flow of arms into the Gaza Strip. Some Egyptian commentators see the move as a surreptitious means of cementing foreign control over the region.

"These new protocols aren't really about halting arms smuggling," Tarek Fahmi, political science professor at Cairo University and head of the Israel desk at the Cairo-based National Centre for Middle East Studies, told IPS. "Rather, they aim to establish foreign control over the region's strategic border crossings and maritime ports."

On Mar. 13, a major conference was held in London aimed at "coordinating efforts" to stop alleged arms smuggling - by land or sea - into the Gaza Strip, governed by Palestinian resistance faction Hamas. Participants at the conference included high-level representatives from nine member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), including the U.S., Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Norway.

Although Egypt reportedly received an invitation to attend the London gathering, it disdained to send a delegate. Palestinian representation, too - from either Hamas or the U.S.-backed Palestinian Authority - was conspicuously absent. Israeli officials, meanwhile, reportedly attended the meeting as "observers".

But Egyptian analysts say the agreement represents a furtive attempt to "internationalise" the longstanding siege of the Hamas-run Gaza Strip.

The Denmark and London conferences come on the heels of an earlier U.S.- Israel security pact, signed in mid-January only days before the departure of then U.S. president George W. Bush.

Like the recent anti-smuggling conferences, the agreement outlined general procedures aimed at stopping alleged weapons smuggling into the Gaza Strip. The document also commits Washington to "accelerate its efforts to provide logistical and technical assistance and to train and equip regional security forces in counter-smuggling tactics."

Egypt, however, which shares a 14-kilometre border with the embattled territory, rejected the accord as an infringement on its national sovereignty. "When it comes to Egyptian land, we are not bound by anything except the safety and national security of the Egyptian people and Egypt's ability to protect its borders," Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul-Gheit told reporters at the time.

Independent Egyptian commentators also harshly criticised the U.S.-Israeli agreement.

"Even though Egypt shares a border with Gaza, it was not a party to this security pact," said Fahmi. "What's more, a close reading of the document shows it is not in Egypt's interests and could even end up providing Israel with access to intelligence on Washington's Arab allies.

"Similarly, Egypt wasn't involved in the recent anti-smuggling conferences in Europe, which were convened - in the absence of any Arab participation - with the express purpose of establishing foreign control over the region's strategic border crossings and maritime ports," added Fahmi.

Mazloum agreed that the international pact signed recently in London was less about fighting arms smuggling and more about the realisation of geo- strategic objectives.
